Sickies at my house

The other day mom and dad were sick. Mom just laid around in bed all day. Only dad went to get the kids from school. At one point, mom was spewing stuff into the big white water bowl. I know, since I was RIGHT next to her watching. She had to get there too fast to shoo me away! I was nice and didn't make mom throw the red ball when we had to go outside. She seemed like she really didn't want to be outside, but someone had to take me potty. So, I was quiet and laid on the bed all day to keep her company. At night, she tossed and turned so much, I would have never gotten any sleep, so I slept in the closet, where they have an area for me to rest.

Fortunately, the next day, she felt much better and was more able to do normal activities. Phew, what a relief. I don't like it when mommy is sick. Today, one of the human pups is sick. They say she threw up, too. Ugh.

On the bright side, the humans went to the special meat store and bought pork chops for themselves and got me some raw knuckle bones to chew on! I didn't want to chew it in my crate, but mom didn't want raw meat goo on the carpeting, so I gave in and chewed it in my crate! It's hard to resist such a tasty delicacy right in front of me! Oh, and it kept me busy and out of the way, while the humans prepared dinner.
