Cha retired to her room after lunch today and didn't emerge until half past nine tonight. When she finally did, looking all confused and groggy, everyone burst into laughter. She said she woke up and panicked coz I wasn't sleeping in the room with her. They only laughed harder.

Can someone please explain the joke to me?
