Arrival Story:
My husband and I were looking for a dog and went to like five shelters. I had my heart set on one and I went back the next day and he was taken. I saw Oreo and took her out of the cage and she put her paws on my shoulders as to hug me and gave me a kiss. She then layed on her back in the grass and loved to be in the sun. I knew from that moment I was taking her home.

My Tail of Devotion for OREO

Oreo,

You are the best dog any one could ever want. You are the light in our eyes. You make each and every day worth living. You are the sunshine of our lives. You are like a daughter to us and always will be. You are loving and caring and give us unconditional love each and everyday. Loyal is an understatement. No matter how you are feling or what you are doing, you are there to greet us when we come home. You could be in a comfortable deep sleep and when you hear one of our cars pull in the driveway , you jump up and come to the door. No human I have ever met is able to have that degree of LOVE. We wish we could do more for you. Taking walks around the lake, swimming, dog parks, playing with Shania( our neighbors dog), going to Max's house (her boyfriend), taking hikes different places, playing with toys in the house, running in the back yard, going for rides in the car does not seem like enough for you. In your eyes it may be, but we hate leaving you at home during the day. I am scared to death to have children because I feel a sadness in my heart when I leave for work. Maybe if Daddy left after me I would feel better, but it is me who is leaving you alone. I think about you all day long, are you eating enough, do you have enough water, do you feel well?
We love you soo, soo soo much Oreo and we really hope you know how much and can feel the love we have for you as we can feel the love you show us.

Love Always,
Mommy and Daddy
