Coming up one year...

My Holly Bell,

its coming up a year anniversary since you went to the bridge. I am thinking of you so often, and it seems the only thing time has done is dug up memories of your younger days. In a sense this is a good thing, a blessing so that I can remember you in your prime, a mischievous, spunky airedale who was living life to the fullest. But in other ways it is all the more painful, and I miss you so much more. I was looking through all of our families old photos i and I came across so many beautiful pictures of you as a puppy, a young dog, my beautiful girl. I found pictures of you and Ariel lying together, paws intwined, nose to nose. You two had such huge hearts.

I remember how you would run in your funny prancing way along the fence when ever anybody walked by. I remember how you used to lay on your back with your paws up on the wall in the hallway...we had to repaint that spot so many times. I remember how you would get our slippers if asked. I remember the one time that you gave me a kiss. I remember how you would sleep on the landing on our stairs all the time. I remember you never once ran out of our eyesight on walks, even though Ariel insisted on taking off. I remember you staying with me when I got separated from the family in the ravine. But most of all I remember how you showed your amazing love and affection by nuzzling us with your fuzzy face.

It pains me so much to think of the decline in your health after Ariel passed away. You lost so much spirit and all of your pride. I know you are an angel now Holly, looking down on me with Ariel all the time but it is too hard to think of you and not cry. You're my Holly bell, Holly berry, teddy bear and I miss you so much.

I am at the bridge now

On Tuesday, March 20, 2007, my family made the decision to help me to the bridge. After all of my suffering, I am finally well again, and with my best friend Ariel. I'm still learning the ropes on how to be a good angel, but with the help of all of my pals up here, I am learning fast. In the future, when you have a bad day, know that I am here watching over you and helping you turn that bad day around. As I know I am furever in my family's hearts, you are all furever in mine.

Christmas Time...*sigh*

Hey pals!
As you know we're right in the middle of the holiday season! and for me, it's the best time of the year. here's my christmas story....
When I was just a little Puppy, I was penned up in a tiny tiny cage in some run down pet store. Just before Christmas, when I had grown so I couldn't even move in my cage, my future mommy walked in the store. We fell in love, and even though I couldn't stand up, I knew she was the one for me. She bought me in a flash and took me home to her family. I couldn't even walk up ONE stair, and couldn't stay standing for more than 5 minutes. But they loved me and the love I felt for the first time was enough for me. They Named me Dolly, because the youngest girl wanted that, but within half an hour they knew the name was wrong. My mom changed it to Holly, because I was a christmas Pup through and through. I had the best time of my life, and I knew I had found my forever home.
The next year, my family and I had just finished christmas again. During that year my sister Jesse, passed away but I still had my brother Joey, although he couldn't move very well. I had developed my favorite nick name Holly Berry. It was right after new years when strange people came to my door. My mommy had talked to them on the phone and with them came my new sister. A three year old airedale named Ariel. I loved her from the beginning and she quickly became the best friend I ever had. We were never apart and got into all sorts of trouble together. She was the best Holiday present my family ever gave me.
I had seven great christmasses with Ariel before she passed, and then Came buddy. I've had three christmasses with him, including the one that we are about to have.
This Christmas is very special to me because It is my last. My family are all off work and school, and we are cherishing every moment. Christmas Day when we're all opening our stockings and presents, I dont even mind if I dont get a gift, just being with my Family on that special day is more than enough. I love my family and I love Christmas.
