But-sniffs and slobbers to all!

Well, When Dad and I came back from town yesterday, I had been in the car for quite a while, and was THIRSTY!! The usual routine when we arrive home, is for Dad and I to close the outer gate first, then open the inner gate so we can bring in whatever we brought from town.

Well, this time, because I was so thirsty, Dad opened the inner gate first. Then he started carrying in the groceries, and FORGOT TO CLOSE the outer gate. Vixen and I noticed that BOTH GATES WERE OPEN!!

What an opportunity! We both knew better, but the DEVIL told us that it would be just fine to RUN AWAY! So we did. What fun we were having! But pretty soon we heard Dad calling. We ignored him as long as we could, but after about 20 minutes, we decided we had better go home. So we did. Dad was happy that we came home, but was pretty disgusted with us for running away. He just doesn't understand that we just can't resist the devil when he tells us to break the rules. It certainly isn't OUR fault!
