Best Tricks:
When you say come in the house he runs up and to the door and turns around. This dog couldn't learn a trick if it was worth a million dollars.

Arrival Story:
Written by Buddy's Mom: Buddy was curled up in a ball in a cage at the Humane Society. His eyes rolled up to see me, as if to say...I think I'm going to die in here. I couldn't let that happen, so I had him carried to the car, since he wouldn't even move and have spent the past 2 years getting him to come out of his shell. He still has anxieties, but he is much improved, running, jumping, and enjoying life. He is my Buddy!

Buddy is the Uncle to Button & Zipper---------Buddy is a speacial dog by all means. If they made a helmet for dogs, this dog would wear one everyday. Buddy likes the simple things in life and loves to go on walks and be alone at times in his own world. It takes a lot of patience to understand buddy and his bladder. When Buddy is not urinating on stuff in the house he is a pretty swell dog!

Buddy Bumpus Janes

Buddy was rescued by Marie Janes from the Humane Society of Ottawa County on July 17, 2002. Buddy was a mixed Doberman, and although his actual birth date is not known, he was around 5 years old at the time of his death.

Buddy was brought back to good health, if only for a short period of his life, and he enjoyed his home, his dog bed, and stuffed toys. He was especially fond of pig ears and soft, chewy treats. He got along great with other dogs and cats. He was especially kind around children.

Buddy was diagnosed with fibrosarcoma on February 1, 2006, and from that time on he battled his cancer bravely, even when his motor control could no longer work his back legs. I held him in my arms when the vet put him down, and we buried him in the backyard next to the weeping cherry tree I got for mother’s day long ago.

We will miss his howling to let us know Larry is home from work, his doggie smile when he was happy and rolling on his back, his warm ears, and his nose nudges to get us to pet him.

The vet commended me on helping Buddy and loving him, but I think it was Buddy who really helped and loved all of us.

Ummmm..lets see what I did??

So, Zip tells me that there is some type of conspiracy with the poo in the yard and with some type of treats…UUUMM, dar what’s the deal? It really doesn’t affect me; Cause no one touches my poo anyway. I really think duuuhh main problem is……Oh shoot…I gotta pee!
