I should tell you of the origins of my many nicknames. Mostly my nicknames are some derivation of my name. However, Tinky comes from the sound my nails make when I'm walking across the hardwood and tile floors. Tom says they sound like Fred Flintstone when he goes bowling. As Fred approaches the lane, the walks on his toes with a "Tinky tinky tinky" sound.

Tom and Beckie also take special pride in making up stupid songs such as, "Little puppy beep beep, kick you in the butt..." because it's funny to sing about kicking a little puppy in her puppy butt. Of course, these songs are nonsense. Tom and Beckie would never actually kick me in the butt. In fact, the beep beep part has a visual with one of them beeping my nose. This practice has spread to the latest addition to the family Zach, who is called Little Baby Beep Beep, as one of them beeps his nose.
