Likes:
Visiting the dog park! Visiting doggie daycare! Walking to the people parks! A good belly rub!

Pet-Peeves:
Seeing dogs when leashed, especially big dogs and, for some reason, Pomeranians. Mom says I become "Cujo," and tells me "Settle!" Grrrr.

Favorite Toy:
Squeaky canvas toy (now, just canvas toy); squeaky gingerbread man (now, just gingerbread man); squeaky stuffed bone (now, just stuffed bone)

Favorite Food:
Anything I find on the sidewalk. Especially when it's trash pick-up day.

Favorite Walk:
To Federal Hill Park to overlook downtown Baltimore ... nice and peaceful, til I see another dog ... then to the Inner Harbor to sniff out some ducks

Best Tricks:
Stay ... I can stay for a really long time, even after everyone leaves the room! It's really hard, and I'm always exhausted after that trick.

Arrival Story:
I was sitting in a cage in this place that had a lot of dogs for adoption, when this nice lady walked by. I was still a little drugged out from my surgery (I was "spayed," whatever that is), so all I could do was tip my tail at her. Well, that was all it took! Sucker. Next thing I know, I'm throwing up in her car on the way "home," meeting my cat brother who wasn't too happy with me (things haven't changed much ... Mom says he tolerates me), and shopping for doggie supplies at the nearest pet boutique where I met my good friend Strummer (I'm smart like that ... make friends with the dog whose parents own the pet boutique).

Ol' Mud Head!

It was quite the week, pups! I know you know what I mean when I say that three days of doggie daycare in a single week can really tire out a pup. I also know that you know what I mean when I say, "Welcome, Mud Season."

Yes, even here in my urban environs I have been known to appreciate an excellent muddy field or two.

Today, Friday, my last day this week at doggie daycare, we had quite the rain storm. For the most part, today's playtime was in the indoor playspace, but my staff, being the excellent caretakers they are, realized that we needed to get out during breaks in the weather to take care of business.

Pups, I did the best "taking care of business" of my entire life. As soon as my staff opened that door, I shot out into Mudville, completing my zoomies in record time, rolling in the mud, and burrowing my "snout" (as if).

My staff was in the process of cleaning me up when Mom came through the door to pick me up. Most of my body was clean, but they had not yet tried my head (really, pups, anyone who knows me knows that, unless your name is Mom, coming at my head with a towel is likely to leave you short a hand or two).

I trotted out of there with Mom, muddy head and all!

Abby

Those are the two things I wish for on my birthday. I already got my third wish ... Jed woke up, saw the pouring rain, and decided that today, my birthday, was going to be a "work from home" day!

Let's get this party started!!

Read, and if you agree, please support. Most of us are excellent ambassadors to the breed, or the mixed breed. I'd love to travel to see my grandparents without bringing along my fake papers. Not that I have fake papers.

Repeal BSL in Ohio, please

Yours in undeniable cuteness,
Abby
