A big shaggy ball on a rope, her giant Orbee bones (when she can find where Kharma's hidden them!)

Favorite Food:
Milk replacer, blackberries, anything Herbie's thawing out to grill, anything she's caught - especially groundhogs

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere Bimmer is going, next door to Herbie's to see if he's left his door open and any food out

Best Tricks:
Stealing, getting toys off the bottom of the wading pool and blowing bubbles underwater, picking blackberries, washing off in the pool if she's gotten muddy (Bimmer taught both girls to do that)

Arrival Story:
Someone poisoned our first Fila, Buffy, and we couldn't stand being without one any longer and poor Bimmer had done nothing but mope and grieve since Buffy died, so when we found a family who had bred their Fila we went and got her. I don't know how we made it all those months without a Fila, and it was wonderful to see how happy she made Bimmer. He's grieved for Buffy for so long, and still misses her, but Shiva has made her very own very big place in all our hearts. She has an extremely loving and child-like personality.

Bio:
Shiva is a real character. At 9 months old she weighs over 120 pounds and still aspires to be a lap dog. She is also very mechanically inclined, and can figure out how to disassemble just about anything. One night she stole a peanut butter jar off the table - and UNSCREWED the lid, ate part of it, then hid the jar where she could go back and get it when she wanted more. She's an incredibly sweet, loving creature and she just melts my heart every time she puts that big paw on my arm and looks up at me.
