Arrival Story: Piggy was adopted through Kentuckiana Pug Rescue in March 2004. We later found out that we were her fourth home. We were told that she was five years old, but my vet guestimated her to be around 8 years old. She was very much a Momma's girl. She loved meeting people, going places, and working on behalf of the other needy pugs within KPR. She collected donations, set up to promote Rescue, went to schools, assisted living homes, pet stores, and made many appearances. She never met a stranger! She was the most loving soul I've ever met and had the kindest spirit about her. She was very much loved by all who knew her. She was honored as Miss KPR 2005 at the May PugPalooza, and then she suddenly went to Rainbow Bridge on June 3rd, 2005. The Miss KPR title was retired in her honor, and the recognition then became the "Piggy Finley Award" which is known as the highest, most prestegious honor that any pug within KPR can receive. They must promote KPR, work to bring recognition to rescue, and be an all around friendly puggy.
Bio: Adopted March 2004 from Kentuckiana Pug Rescue, Gone to Rainbow Bridge on June 3, 2005. Canine siblings: Clyde Patches, Barney Rubble, and Molly Grace. Feline siblings: Belle and Bridgette.

My precious little girl,
Another Christmas has come and gone, and I miss you as much as ever. Your stocking was hung with the rest of the kids', and your photo with Santa and Clyde Patches set out. Your sweet little face was so comforting to me. I miss you very, very much and wish you were here with me now. I keep your Christmas photo on the fridge, the one of you with your candy cane bone. You look so smug and happy...and also the one of you watching Clyde Patches eat on his candy cane bone. We only got to be together one Christmas, but you gave me wonderful, happy memories. I love you...Momma
Precious baby girl,
I miss you so much. I'd give most anything to be able to see you and hold you again....to hear your little bark, watch you priss down the hallway with your head thrown back so proud. I keep your photos out and think of you every single day. Sending my love to you at the Bridge...Momma
