Mommy's Helper

I have been busy being Mommy's helper wrapping up Christmas presents, preparing boxes for mailing and writing Christmas cards. It is a tough job but some pup has to do it. We are all done and Mommy took the boxes and the cards to the post office to be mailed. That is it for another year!

Jelly Day

Mommy came to her senses on Sunday and did not go to work. Mommy was tired so we had a quiet day. I don't care about that at all because it was a Jelly day. I spent the whole day with my Mommy. :) I supervised some house work and we watched TV, starred at the Kindle thing and even had a nap.

Mommy is Confused

Yes, my Mommy is confused. Today is Saturday and my Mommy got up at dark o'clock to go to work. I tried to explain to her that today was Saturday and that means no going to work but she didn't listen. The equation is very simple, namely: Saturday = stay at home = Jelly's Day. In spite of my explanation Mommy still went to work for the whole day. She sure is confused! I sure hope she figures out that tomorrow is Sunday which is another "Jelly Day".

No Thank-You

Mommy always asks me every night if I want to sleep on the big bed and I always do. Last night was different and I decided I wanted to sleep by myself. When she asked I said, "No thank-you Mommy, I want to sleep by myself." I slept in my little tent which is right by the big bed. I could still keep an eye on Mommy but I could sleep by myself. Mommy had noticed that for the past few nights I had reluctantly slept on the big bed. She thinks that the reason I don't want to sleep in the big bed is that she tosses and turns too much. She is absolutely right! I need my beautfy sleep and I just don't get it when I am sleeping with Mommy. I wonder when I will want to sleep in the big bed again? Actually Mommy said she slept much better not having me in the bed. Grrrrrrr...... Maybe, I made a mistake by not sleeping in the big bed?????

A Visitor

That bad pup called "Notme" came to visit at my house this morning. That bad pup did a pee pee in my Princess room. Mommy didn't notice it until she went to put me in the Princess Room so she could go to work. That bad pup did the pee pee on the puzzle mats that I have on my floor. I am sure you have seen those colourful puzzle mat pieces that fit together like a puzzle and are used as kid's play mats. The problem was the pee-pee went through the cracks of the puzzle mat and made a big mess. When Mommy picked up the puzzle mat pieces there was pee-pee everywhere. Mommy didn't have time to do a real good cleaning because she was going to be late for her meeting. Tonight she is going to give the floor and those puzzle mats a good washing. That bad pup "Notme" shouldn't pee-pee in my Princess Room!

Crumbs

Mommy is always bothering me about my crumbs. She says, "Jelly, eat the crumbs!" I don't eat crumbs! I am a polite pup and I always carry my treats to the little mat by the patio doors and eat there. This way the crumbs are on the little mat and all Mommy has to do is pick up the mat, open the door and shake off the crumbs. How can she complain about that??? Then to top it off she will ask me to eat her crumbs. I look at her like she has to be kidding! I won't eat my own crumbs how could she possible think I will eat her crumbs???!!!!! Silly Mommy!

Typing Gadget

I am having my secretary type this a new way. She is using a flat thing called "IPad". This little thing just arrived this morning and my Mommy is still trying to figure it out. At one point she wanted to throw it out in the snow! BOL!!! I think Mommy will get used to this gadget eventually. Maybe it will make her type more for me because lately she has sure been a slacker with my typing. Do any of you pups have an "IPad"at your house?

Embarrassing

This evening I had a very embarrassing event happen. It was dark and the lights were off in the hallway and Mommy and I were in the living room. All of a sudden our doorbell rang so I took off at top speed to bark at the door. I had to let the new interloper know that this is my house. What happened next is all Mommy's fault. If she would pick up her things then I wouldn't have these embarrassing moments. In the hallway was the swiffer floor thingy leaning against the wall and right beside the door Mommy put a big jug of ice melting stuff. Mommy says that what happened next is my fault because I have anger management issues and I just see "red" when the door bell rings and I don't think of anything else. I will let you pups decide whose fault it is. Anyways, getting back to the story....... The door bell rings and I go running down the hall towards the door. First I knock over the swiffer thingy and it goes crash, bang onto the floor. Not too good but I can live with it. Then I am going full speed ahead towards the door and "CRASH" I run head first into the jug of ice melting stuff. That hurt! It stopped me from barking. At first Mommy was worried that I hurt myself but I seem to be okay. She said that was one big crash! It took me a few seconds to regroup after that accident but I did recover and continued my barking. I think this whole accident was all Mommy's fault. Mommy has to learn to put away her stuff! Mommy says I have to slow down and learn to control my temper. Who is right?

What Colour?

Mommy says we are ordering a new 2013 Jelly Explorer Vehicle. The big decision is colour. What colour should I choose?? Mommy says the choices are:
Kodiak Brown (dark colour)
Deep Impact Blue (can look kind of purple in some lights)
Ginger Ale
Tuxedo Black
Sterling Grey (dark colour)
Ingot Silver
Green Gem (dark colour)
Oxford White

The interior chooses are light stone or charcoal black.

Mommy says she has total veto rights on choosing the colour which I don't think is fair.
