Likes: Jelly most favourite thing to do is anything with her Mommy. She loves to go for car rides, go on walks, play with toys and chase squirrels.
Pet-Peeves: Doesn't like grooming, not being able to go out with her Mommy, squirrels
Favorite Toy: Jelly has lots of toys because she never destroys them. Her favourite toys are plush squeaker types. She plays with all her toys but her favourite is her old purple loofa dog.
Favorite Food: Jelly's favourite food is chicken and turkey. It took her until 3 years of age to like kibble but she now will eat that down. She also loves healthy soft dog treats.
Favorite Walk: At Clear Lake, Manitoba. She loves walking around the townsite and chasing squirrels by the beach.
Best Tricks: She knows most basic obedience commands eg. sit, down, stay ,come, heel. Jelly can retrieve many of her toys by name. She can jump many different kinds of jumps, go through a tunnel and use the dogwalk. Jelly also rings the bells to go outside.
Arrival Story: I have had Miniature Schnauzers for over 25 years and I always wanted an Affenpinscher. When my last schnauzer became 15 years old I decided it was time to start looking for an affenpinscher. I thought it would take me a couple of years to get one since they are relatively rare but I was very fortunate and found a really good breeder who was willing to let me have one within a couple of months. I consider myself very fortunate to be owned by Jelly.
Bio: My Daddy is an American and a Canadian Champion. I have been told that I have many champion relatives in my pedigree. I am going to doggy shows. I don't know what all this champion stuff means but I love going to shows with my Mommy and my doggy relatives. I especially love all the treats and attention I get. I have also been going to doggy school. I started out in Puppy School and then I went to "Confirmation" classess where I learned how to be a show dog - stand and walk nice. I am also going to obedience and agility classes. I just love doggy school!

Dog of the Day: I was Dog of the Day on October 24, 2006. Thank-you Dogster! A special thanks to all my dogster pals who sent me warm wishes on this special day. You really made this a special day for me.
Diary of the Day: I was Diary of the Day on March 5, 2007. Thank-you Dogster for supplying us with this special space to write our diaries. A very special thank-you to my Mommy for doing all my typing. My little paws do not type very well! My diary is so much fun because of all my pals who read my diary throughout the year. Very special, special thanks go to them. We just love your p-mails and the interaction that we have with you. Also I would like to thank all the pups who sent us warm wishes via p-mail, pup pal requests, rosettes and stars on my special day. Keep woofing and writing pups!
So far my Saturday has been pretty good. I got Mommy up at 7:30 am to potty and eat breakfast. After that we went back to bed until 9:30 am. Then Grandpa surprised us this morning and stopped in for a visit around 11 am. I love having company. When Grandpa left then Mommy went shopping for yummies. Mommy let me be loose in the house and even left the TV on for me. What a nice Mommy! I enjoyed my time looking out the window, napping, watching TV and playing with toys. Before I knew it Mommy was back home. Mommy said she was only gone for about an hour but I am a little pup and I don't know anything about that. Mommy brought lots of yummies home! She brought home two roast beasts as my pal Zoe barks. It is two roast beefs which were on sale. Mommy said we will make roast beef for supper on Sunday and the other one will go in the freezer for another day. Yummy! She had lots of other things in the bags too like yogurt, ice cream (yummy, yummy, yummy!), cheese, lunch meats, pepperoni sticks, cookies and I could go on and on. It is so much fun helping Mommy unpack the groceries. Now Mommy says we have to wipe that thing with the long handle on the furniture and use the sucky machine. Grrrrr...... I hate the sucky machine. After that we have a lovely evening planned of eating pizza, cuddling and watching TV. :)
I am doing fine. My milk is drying up and I am starting to feel like my old regular self. I will always miss my baby girl but I know life must go on. Mommy is now home for the weekend which makes me happy. Mommy said we will go for a walk this weekend. :) I haven't been able to go for a walk since before I got pregnant. The City installed a new walking path that I haven't had a chance to try out yet. I am looking forward to sniffing around there.
My Mommy and I would like to thank every pup for all the pretty presents on my page and all the p-mails and nice comments we have been receiving. I am very sad because I lost my precious baby girl puppy but all your love and caring has made it so much easier. Thank-you so much every pup.
I am doing fine. I woke Mommy up at 4 am when I passed my placenta. That is fancy words for some of the after birth after having a puppy. Mommy gave me a nice bath yesterday which even I have to admit made me feel better. I don't like wearing my in season pants but I know it is necessary because I am still "dripping". The vet told Mommy to watch my temperature for a few days to make sure I don't get an infection. So far all is well with my temperature. I really didn't want Mommy to go to work this morning. Usually I just jump into my bed and watch quietly as Mommy leaves. This morning I was jumping on Mommy and giving little yelps saying, "Don't leave me, don't leave me!" The same thing happened when Mommy got home. Usually I wait very quietly for Mommy to open up the baby gate on my day room but today I started to give little yelps as soon as Mommy walked in the door. I just want to be near Mommy. Mommy will be home all evening now so I am happy.
Thanks again pups for all your concern and love. I am proud to have each and every one of you as my friend. xoxoxoxo
