Last Saturday, my family and I went to a reunion picnic held by my rescue organization. I was quite the poplar dog! Everyone remembered me and was so glad that I am doing so well (and have plumped up a bit! This new family of mine loves to give me treats....and I love to eat them!) I visited with other dogs, humans and even got to run free in the huge dog park nearby. Mom and Dad said I was a perfect gentledog and did wonderfully.

And I made my family especially proud when I made it all the way there AND back without getting sick in the car!

WOOF!

(*Mom posted pictures here and video can be seen here)

Mom packed up my human sisters and me and we took a trip to the state park for some hiking and then some fun at the beach this morning. Pictures can be seen here

And hey, I only got sick in the car three times!

Hmmm..I guess my cleanliness wasn't up to my furry sister's standards once again today because she insisted on giving me another bath. 'Course mom was right there with the camera to get it on video

You know, I adore my new human family--they are loving, attentive, and affectionate, but I tell ya, they don't know the first thing about decorating. It annoys me so much that everytime they go out, I go around and rearrange all the throw pillows. I move the bedroom ones to the family room, the family room ones to the living room and the living rooms to the bedroom. You would think they would appreciate all my hard work, but no! Everytime they come home, they move everything back to where it was. One day they will see the beauty of my design, but for now, I'll just keep rearranging everytime they leave me alone.

Today my ears must have been extra dirty because my furry sister, Miss Kitty, wouldn't stop washing them! Mom insisted on taking video which you can see here

*Viewing Note: Although the lighting in the video was fine, once uploaded, it was a bit dark. Setting your monitor to its lightest setting will help you to see it a bit better.

A Trip to the Park--and I Didn't Puke!

Mom says she's really proud of me today. She took my three human sisters and me to the neighborhood park and dog walk; a 10 minute drive in the car. A couple weeks ago, this would have meant a big clean up job for mom because cars tend to make me a bit sick. I'm not sure if it's because of the motion or because of anxiety. Before I adopted my human family, I had only ever been in cars that took me to cages or the dr's..I had never been anywhere fun. Mom says she will prove to me that cars can lead to cool places like the park, hiking in the woods and even the beach--whatever THAT is.

It was worth the trip in the car to get to the park today though. I took a walk by the lake and saw other dogs, people on bikes, skates and even some ducks--man, I wanted to play with them but Mom said no. After our walk, I laid down under the shade of some trees with Mom and my little sister Madi while my older two sisters played at the playground. It only took a minute before I was surrounded by short people all asking to pet me. I sure didn't mind and appreciated all the attention. Mom said I was wonderful and has talked about having me evaluated to be a humane education or therapy dog. Again, I have no idea what that is, but it sounds pretty exciting.

Mom was extra proud of me when I made it all the way home in the car and hadn't gotten sick at all. There was a few moments there that I thought I might, but I knew Mom wouldn't take me anywhere bad so I was ok. It's good to be home though...I'm exhausted!

What Channel is Animal Planet?

I've tried two different remote controls now. I took them off the coffee table, settled down on the floor and tried desperately to find Animal Planet on TV by chewing and chewing on those darn remotes. Mom said I chewed so much that one is broken now but you know what? I think they were broken to begin with because I never did find that animal channel

I wonder why Mom was so annoyed with me???
