 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: September 11th 2001
Likes: Food, treats, going everywhere mom goes, TUMMY RUBS!, playing at the river, going for walks, resting on the couch

Pet-Peeves: Having to stay home when mom is leaving, getting whacked in the face by Bean's tale

Favorite Toy: Not too into toys other than to pull them all out of the toy box and place them around the room-Nola prefers playing with her sisters, Dorian and Bean

Favorite Food: What isn't?! Cheese, Skittles, doggie cookies, treats, how much space do we have...?

Favorite Walk: The East Moreland neighborhood where we live, but anywhere mom and dad will take her will do

Best Tricks: Nola can speak for a treat and do all the basics, but she is so smart she can figure out almost anything we ask her to do and she is very brave--always trying new things with a great attitude!

Arrival Story: Nola (formerly BooBoo) was bred by a wonderful woman in Idaho--at 2 years old she was bought by someone in Utah. For 2 years she lived with someone until their husband passed away. When the woman re-married, her new husband would not tolerate a dog who didn't listen to his every command so she was returned to Idaho. After Apple Renee passed away, I really wasn't doing so well and it had been months--I by chance was connected with Nola's breeder and rescuer who was trying to find the right home for her. She sounded like just the right dog for me and someone who might help me heal--and she truly is! After that, I flew to Idaho for a day to meet her and then a month later, drove there to pick her up and bring her home with me.

Bio: Nola has quickly become the love of my life--she loves Dad, but she is blatantly "momma's girl" and that is just fine by me! We adopted her in March 2006 and fit right into the house and quickly bonded with her 4 new doggie siblings and the 3 cats who were already part of the family. It's been a joy to get to know her and bond more deeply with her everday and we love seeing her try new things all the time--she has great spirit and attitude. Nola is hilarious and has a wonderful sense of humor--she makes everyday fun. She is extremely easy-going and is always an attention getter on the street--people come out of the woodwork to ask what type of dog she is, or if they can pet her. She loves the attention and is so calm and nice to everyone who meets her. Little children can climb all of her and she will sit there patiently and let them have their fill. I thank my lucky stars that she is now our daughter and a wonderful member of our family.

Forums Motto: "Oh, did you want to pet my tummy?"
