Happy April Everyone!

Hey everyone....I'm here again to try to update you on what I've been up to lately. To be honest..not really much. I've been trying to get Dad to play with me with my orange dumb-bell, and I have to say he does a pretty good job with it whenever he's home. Even when he's asleep on the couch all I have to do is drop it next to the couch and he hears it and picks it up and throws it for me. It makes me soooooo happy!!!! And I know he just enjoys it too! Otherswise...why would he do it for me?! But, I have to say that it annoys me when Geoff thinks he's got to get in the fun! It's a game between me and Dad! So I'm just a bit faster then him (heee!!) and get it before him. He has got it before me a couple of times, but I just go up and steal it away from him (there...take that Geoff). So when Dad comes home next time, I know we can play our special game.

Mom and Dad got a new car....not sure I really like it though. I'm able to get my own seat to sit in,but would rather be in the same seat as Geoffrey. He doesn't like it very well, and I know Mom doesn't either. Especially when we get to playing around. But, I'm gradually getting used to it.

I just can't wait to go outside when Mom gets home! There is that white stuff (I think Mom calls it snow) coming down again. I just love to play in it and eat it. I can really get Mom laughing especially when I stick my nose down into it and come up with it all covered with it. Hurry Mom....get home.

Check This Out!

Wow!!! Mom's busy doing all kinds of weird stuff. She's been busy putting paper around things. I even seen her put some paper around which looked like a new toy for me! I was so excited about all that paper laying around I just had to get in on it. So I was over trying to help Mom and she just shoos me away. Geoff even tryed to help her out and the same thing happend to him. I heard Mom talking about something special for Kelly...well I hope I get something special as well. I've also hear her tell Geoff he had better be good for Santa to come. Well, I know he's older then I am and he hasn't said a work about his Santa fellow. Then I see Mom put stuff under this tree. Well...I tried to check it all out (I had to make sure everything was in it's proper place) and she just tells me to get out from under that tree. First.....why in the world would someone put a tree in their house?? I sure hope Mom hasn't lost her marbles! But, I'll keep you posted on what I find out about that tree thing and those items wrapped in paper.....LATER!!

Riding in Daddy's Truck

Last Saturday I got to go with Mom and Dad in the truck. We sure did get up early though. I really didn't car for that. I would have liked to stay on my nice warm pillow (actually it belongs to Dad), but when I seen Geoffrey was getting excited about going with them.....well you know I then got excited.

Mom took me, Geoffrey and Dad to the truck and then left. I though..what the heck is she doing??? I don't want to go unless Mom goes. Well then next thing I knew we were stopping the truck and guess what.....yep you guess it! Mom got in and down the road we went.

We ended up going to Battle Creek (I think). The place we went to had to put some stuff in the trailer Dad was pulling. So while they were doing that we all took a nap. It was great. I got to sleep with Mom and Dad. Geoff even got on the bed with us. After we were loaded down the road we went and then we stopped someplace else. When Mom and Dad got out of the truck though I wasn't happy about that. But when they came back, boy did Geoff and I get a treat! We got a warm peanut butter cookie. I had to share it with him though.

After a long time we pulled into this place. I heard Mom say something about Pepsi. After a few minutes Dad got out of the truck for awhile, but Mom stayed in there with Geoff and me. It was kind of a cool place. There were all these funny looking truck going all over the place and even next to us there was this truck and the guy in there waved at us. I thought that was so sweet. When he got back in we all decided to take a little nap.

When we left there Dad had to stop someplace cause I really needed to go potty. The place we stopped at was really cool. There was some kind of weird looking grass and there was this guy there that said hi to us. After Geoff and I were ready to leave Mom and Dad put us in the truck and they left for a few minutes. When they came back they brought us some lunch. It was really good, but at first I wasn't sure of the dish Mom put it in. But Mom gave me a hamburger with some weird looking potatoes. I didn't like eating them out of the dish so Mom fed them to me. They were even good. I thought I heard Mom call them french fries.

Anyway we had to go back to Battle Creek and when we got there Mom and Dad took us out of the truck. There was something going on across the street so we went over there. There were all these people and kids, but I was a really good girl. Some kids even came up to me and I let them pet me. Mom was so proud of me! We were there for a little while and then we had to go back in the truck and go down the road again to see Pepsi.

We got to Pepsi again and Dad got us unloaded as fast as he could. I was really getting tired and wished we were home. But it wasn't to long and we were going down the road again. After a few minutes Dad stopped someplace so Geoff and I could get out and stretch our legs. When we went back to the truck I really fooled Mom. I just jumped right up into the truck. I sure wish you could have seen the look on Mom's face!!! It was great!

Not to long after that we were home and boy was I glad. I know I sure slept good that night. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking me!!

My New Yard

Yesterday Mom came home and was doing something differnet in the back yard. I watched her and Michael put some stone in the back yard. It sure made a difference in the way it looked. But, at first I wasn't to crazy about it. I walked around on it and it just felt really weird on my feet. I'm so use to walking on the bare ground (which I really, really, REALLY didn't like) and then this stuff is there. Geoff and I kept walking around on it and checking it out....you know sniffing it to make sure it didn't move or anything; and it didn't. Now I'm really used to it and really like it. I hope it stays there for a very long time. Thanks Mom!!

My Trip with Michael

Gosh, I'm sooooo lucky! I got to go riding with Michael today. And, guess what?? I got to see Mom! We had to meet her somewhere, but I'm not exactly sure where it was at, but I was sooo happy to see her! I just wagged and wagged. It was really great! Then she had to take me to the doctor. I really was a good girl. I got to see another dog, who wasn't really feeling well. And then there were some people that walked in after Mom and I got there. Mom was so proud of me too cause I didn't shy away from them. I even tried to go up to one and say hi. Then it was our turn. The doctor was taking a look at my neck. He gave me some kind of a shot. Him and Mom both said I was really a good girl cause I didn't even move! Then he was talking to Mom on what she needs to do to help it get better. I was really glad when we got home though.

Later this evening, Mom gave me some peanut butter. It was really good. But,t here was something hidden in it. That's ok..I didn't mind. As long as I got the peanut butter that was all that I was after. Also tonight Mom had to take some special water and wash off my neck. I really was good too when Mom did that for me. And because I was such a good girl, Mom gave me at treat!!! Ha Ha Geoffrey!!

Now What?

You know, I'm really happy to see Mom when she comes home, but I'm getting a little tired of her constantly brushing on me. I know she means best, but....darn it I try really hard to be a good girl and be still for her so she can get that darn brushing and combing done with. Then I can go play! You know, come to think of it......I haven't picked on Tasha lately. Hmmmmmm I'm going to keep my eye out for her and try to get a game of chase going with her. That will be sooo much fun! We love to play tag and chase. It gets Mom upset with us, but hey, she can get over it! It's kind of my way of paying her back for constantly combing me out.

I'm So Pretty!!

Well, it's about time Mom took me to the beauty shop to get this hair cut off! I really hate it when my hair gets this long. I'm much to pretty to let my hair get as long as it was. It also makes me feel to warm. But, when Mom let me there, I thought she was going to stay and wait for me......and she didn't!! I don't like to be left anywhere if Mom's not going to be there. You know though, she actually wasn't gone all that long either. Next thing I knew Mom showed back up and took me and Geoffrey back home where it was so much cooler. Our house was so cool it really made me sleepy. so I curled up on the couch and took a nice long nap.

Wow....when Mom came home, she brought Kelly home with her. I wonder where Kelly was all day. Geoffrey seems to think that Kelly went somewhere for a bath. You know, she does kind of look different. Tonight though, I just want to be lazy. But, I just can't seem to find a place I want to sleep! I tried to sleep under Mom's chair, but she JUST had to get up.....then I tried to sleep under the computer desk. But, Mom scared the heck out of me when she dropped the phone right next to me! Darn it anyway! So I guess when I'm done with this I'm going to try to lay on the rug between the the livingroom and the place where Mom and Dad eat their meals. I know it seemed forever until Geoffrey got off the computer so I could get on.

Oh, great! Now it sounds like it's raining outside! Man.....I didn't need that! I really hope its done before Mom lets me outside before we go to bed! I hate getting wet and getting my pretty feet wet and dirty. Well....lets just hope for the best.

Why Me????

Man, I don't know about this!! Last night Mom gave me ANOTHER bath! I know why she's doing it though. I've got them darn fleas and Mom can't seem to get rid of them. She bought a special comb though and I'm hoping that will help. But, I'm beginning to think that....maybe bath time isn't allllll that bad. Or else, I'm starting to just get use to it. But, between you and me......I do feel soooooooo good after a bath. It helps me relax soooooo much. Last night I was a good girl and when we went to bed, I didn't get Mom up at all. She was so happy about that. I like to make Mom happy! She's the best mom a pup could have!

Oh Man..Not Another Bath!!

Wow, I'm not sure what got into Mom tonight. She went up town and came back with a bottle of green stuff. The next thing I knew she had me up on the counter and started brushing me out. I don't mind that to much, but when I heard that water running........NO WAY! But she grabbed me before I could get away and put me in that darn sink and got me all wet. Then that bottle of green stuff came out and she started squirting it on me. That's when I realized...I was getting a bath! I would have given her as many bones as she wanted not to give me one. But darn it...it didn't work. But I know why I got done. I've been doing alot of scratching and come to find out...boy did I have alot of fleas. I'm not sure she got all of them though. Mom's going to make an appointment with the groomers forme and Geoff and she'll have her give us a flea dip. That should take care of those little suckers! Then after my bath, what did Mom do then????? She started spraying me with something....and I don't like to be sprayed! I tried all kinds of ways to get out of that, but it didn't work. But lets keep our paws crossed (and that means front and back) that this bath and that darn spraying helped.
