Very very picky - only likes his dog food + HIGH quality treats (other than above exception). It's sometimes embarrassing when people try to give him a treat because he'll sniff it and leave - or worse - he'll put it in his mouth and then spit it out.
Favorite Walk:
Close to home: Kip's Bay, Murray Hill and Northern Gramercy Park.
Arrival Story:
My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I had only been together for a short while and he suggested we get a puppy. I said "Are you ready to make a 15 year commitment to this?" He said, "Of course." So we got our baby, Dag. The three of us been together ever since.
Bio:
Although he has not been abused a single day in his entire life, he still shys away when anyone goes to pet him. I think that's how the Chinese Shar-Pei is...skiddish (actually reminds me of a certain Chinese girl I know, actually - Howdy, Caroline!!). But then there are those times when he'll come to his Mama and put his head in her lap and want to be petted and kissed - ahhh- heaven!
