i stand and look at it and stamp my foot and she still won't- give it to me

Mom says she doesn't know what it is i want but how can that be i am standing right here looking at it, the basket that has two microfleece mitts for wiping our feet and a bottle of eye cleaner and two old leashes and a dog comb and how can she not figure out what it is i want? She even put everything on the floor so i could look at it and tell her what i wanted and she still STILL couldn't figure it out? What the bark, are you dumb or what? i am standing right here stamping my foot and telling you what I want and it is right here two feet in front of me but you wont' give it to me. so now i am going to lie down right in front of the basket and look at it and make little growly noises so you will give it to me. i tried to steal mom's new gloves

i could see mom's new glovies up on the little table where the radio sits. I watched and watched until i couldn't resist it, then i JUMPED up and got one of them! But it didn't last cuz mom saw me and she snatched it away and got me by the collar and then she started to take me to my crate in the garage!!! I couldn't stand it that i might have to go in the crate in the garage so i made myself heavy and mom had to drag me and that didn't work cuz she just dragged me so when we got to the door I openend up my eyes all big and made her think I was very scared to go in the garage and I put my feet on her hand and then she couldn't bear to put me in the garage so I won that round.

Does anybody really like Scooby-Doo? At least he isn't- Scrappy-Doo

We have a new dog walker, her name is Brandy like the brown drink. but get this about Brandy: Scooby-Doo is one of her favorite characters. That says a lot about Brandy. It says that she doesn't know many smart dogs and so she thinks Scooby-Doo is interesting. Here's what mom thinks about Scooby-Doo: Somebody thought him up so somebody has to watch him, so let it be Brandy and then mom doesn't have to.

But mom wants me to make clear that she really likes the real dogs Great Danes, it's just Scooby-Doo she thinks is a waste of celluloid and ink. And Marmaduke too! Waste of ink and paper! And it is a darn shame that cartoonists think the Great Danes are doofuses!

Now here is what i want to know: WHY ARE THERE NO POODLE CARTOON CHARACTERS? I bet it's cuz we are too smart and sensible.

people who leave town don't deserve to own dogs

mom and dad went somewhere AGAIN and we went to stay with Jim AGAIN. they went to Mixico and i am plenty mad. while we were at JIm's I wasn't mad and when Sherry brought us to our house I wasn't mad, but then when mom and dad got home that's when i got mad. so now i am trying to eat anything i can get my mouth around--socks, pillows, hair clips. Cuz maybe if I make her mad enough she'll give me to Jim and then my life will be stable.

i punished mom for her bad behavior. now it's her turn

Mom was going to invite me up on the couch last night while she and dad watched a movie but then she didn't. She brushed me for a while with my collar off (I can make my neck longer when the collar is off) and that was swell but then as usual she expected me to curl up on the floor by her feet. Well I don't do Curl-Up-On-The-Floor-By-Her-Feet. I never have. She used to sit on the floor with me. That's ok. But no I don't curl up on the etcetera. So in the night I ate her gloves.

Tuesday THursday class lectures that is. For Mom. Who I love. When she rubs my neck or plays fetch the rubber toy with me.

countdown FALL 10

I get to help mom count down her biology classes. She teaches BIology and Biochemistry on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

two this week x 2 = 4.
one next week x 2 = 2.
December, 3 days x 2 = 6. That's 12 more lectures. She just said to stop the countdown cuz the numbers are still too big.

it was a block party kinda for dogs sorta

This morning when it was time to go out for a walk mom could hear that there were neighbors and their dogs having a visit outside. So she checked who it was. It was our near neighbors! With the ladydogs who were at our house last weekend plus the beauty black lab from across the street! So mom let me go just go no leash no restraint at all i could hardly believe it i just looked at the open door and figured she was testing me but she said Ok go! a couple times so I WENT! It was fun to just run out to say hi to the ladydogs. PLUS the twin human children who live with the beauty black lab were out and they wanted to touch me and they LIKED me! i can't say their names cuz this is the evil internet and all and we don't want strangers to know their names cuz they are all friendly and would go with anyone who knew their names were Peterpaul and Mary HA THEY ARE NOT NAMED THAT YOU DOOFUSES!!!!

That doofus Boris forgot some parts of the weekend.

Boris just posted about what a great weekend it was and i beg (hah! get it? beg?) to differ. On Saturday besides the fun stuff we had to go get baths at Wash Shake Wag. We haven't been there in a long time cuz mom and dad have been bathing us at home on the grooming table covered with a shower curtain and the garden hose. But now it's getting cold and at least they are nice enough to not want to blast us with cold water but they are not nice enough to just let us be au naturel filthy. Bobo in particular took a very long time to get clean so it is extra dumb of him to forget. I was done and waiting for him for 10 minutes, and they were a hard 10 minutes b/c there was a kitty, 2 schnauzers, a doxie and a little mix-up dog and two big GSD's. It was like the dog park! Except cleaner. Bobo made the whole place smell skunky cuz that skunk smell is still oozing off of him.

THen Sunday we had to stay at home while mom and dad did something interesting. We know it was interesting b/c they took their swimsuits and their wet suits and their hosey things and their bouyancy thingies (don't ask i do not know). They came back smelling like delicious algae and we want to go along next time!!

But on Saturday we had ladydog visitors again! Mom spotted our neighbor walking his two ladydogs, the australian merle shepherd ladydogs from across the street, the ones that make me bark like a wild animal when i see them on walks, and she asked him if they would all like to come to our yard to play for 5 minutes. That was great! the ladydogs are named Bessie and Lucy and neighbor man thought Lucy would hate playing in our yard but she LIKED it! We LIKED it! All four of us LIKED it!

we had two ladydog visitors

Mom had a party cuz she is that kind of person, always having people over for martinis, and her friend Christopherine came over. She is the friend who went with us to the Boat Annical garden, and that time she brought her dog Mae with her. Mae was just swell, and LIKED us! She like the garden, liked all the little swimming pools that were out for us hot hounds to cool off in---but anyway I dogress, I was starting to tell you about the party. Yeah. Christopherine came over and she brought TWO ladydogs. She brought Mae, who we knew, but she also brought Maddie (is that Maddie for Mad dog? or Madeline? oh, i menember, it's Mattie for Matilda). Mattie showed us how her hair really cool-like stands up in a line down her back, but she LIKED us too! And we all played outside and were friends. Now here is the really neatest part about Mae and Mattie and Christopherine: Mae and Mattie were Aggieland vet school dogs. They were from a family of dogs that have a disease in their jeans. (WE don't get to wear jeans! No fair) Mae didn't have the bad jeans but Mattie did. So when they were little girl puppies Christopherine got to have Mae come and live with her. Mattie stayed on at Texas A&M to become a scientist dog. But she got lucky and didn't have the disease, only had the bad jeans, so when she was 4 the Aggieland Vet school said we give up on little Mattie ever getting sick, it seems like she is going to be healthy, and THEN SHE GOT TO GO AND LIVE WITH HER SISTER MAE!!! Aint that the best flippin dog story you ever heard? Christopherine must be the best dog lady ever cuz she was just super happy to get Mattie too!

And we were super happy to share our chairs out on the back porch with Mae and Mattie.
