What a day!

Today was crazy. Mommy and Daddy told me they were going off to work and school, respectivly, but Mommy lied! I was lazying pleasantly on the bed when I heard her come home, much earlier than expected. But with her I heard much noise and smelled some odd scents. She had bought me a new toy - but that wasn't it. She stank off the vet's (ewwww) and of....other dogs. I was horrified. Did Mommy bring home more dogs?
She did.
Mommy, and later Daddy, reassured me that I am still top pug and am their number one little guy. I believe them.
She tells me that their Mommy (human not furry) died and that they needed rescuing. They are much older than I, 8 and 4 years, and are Mother and Son. The Mother has the unfortunate name of Pooky and the Son bears the moniker Sammy. Interesting pug specimens, indeed. They didn't want to play despite my scuttling invitations. Perhaphs they will "come around," as Mommy put it. We shall see.
Well it is late - and I think I hear Mommy stirring. I don't want her to know I can use this computer thing. Until next time, folks.
