Bad mom!

Tomorrow mom, her mom & little sister are going to their friend's lake house. Then on Friday afternoon her two brother's are joing her. Which leaves Murphy & me stuck at home with mom's dad (he couldn't go because he couldn't take this weekend off work). Ditched for the "wonderful" lake of the Ozarks. After tomorrow I won't see mom until Sunday afternoon! That is 4 days & 3 nights mom has to go without her sweet white boy, I have no idea how she will survive! Maybe I should pack a picture of moi in her suitcase. Heck! I should pack myself. Well actually that might not be such a good idea... I mean Louie is going to be there (the friend's dog) and then there is "the pug" (Lacey) ughh. And then they are going to have their two cats there! Actually that might be kind of fun, I never decline the oportunity to chase a big fat cat.

Oh!! Mom is going to go finnish packing! I better go pout on her suitcase before she gets there.

Dog-n-jog 09!

Well yesterday was a day we have been waiting for, for a while! It was the 22nd annual Dog-n-Jog that benefits the local humane society! You guys might remember me barking about how much fun we had last year, I even won a big costume contest!, so as you can imagine we have been counting down the days for this years event!

Yesterday morning was cold & extra dark but mom got up as soon as her almar clock turned on favorite radio station right at six in the morning. She called Murphy & me and got the little puggling out of her kennel and she ran over to me (of course) and tried to flatter me with her little snorting kisses and loving sniffs but I didn't want any part of her puppy-ness. Mom let us outside and she sleepily slugged around and got ready, always keeping an eye on the weather chanel and hoping the chance of rain would vanish into thin air, and after a little bit she let us all three in. I ran towards my food bowl though I was sad when mom only gave me half of my breakfast food because sometimes when I get excited it can really upset my tummy. And mom was happy to see I was still bright & shiny with no mud on me, she did give me a much needed bath Saturday. I hated it but I do have to say, I look good!

After thelori & mom where all ready they started putting things in the car, and that is when it started to sprinkle outside which got mom worried. But Murphy & me could have cared less! When mom was grabbing something she looked back in the car to find Murphy & sitting in the car giving her look that said "come on mom! Dog-n-jog is waiting!" So she finally ready to go and of course when she got in the car the pug followed. Crazy Lacey. So it took mom two times to keep her from escaping out the door, but after that we where off! The peeps stopped for a quick breakfast burrito which I then tried to steal right out of mom's hand but when we where on the road but all was good. Murph & me even took a nap on the way there while the peeps tlked about how mom & me where famous!Yup when we picked up our fun packs yesterday we looked at the photo flyer to find a photo of both of us from last year. YEAH!!

When we arrived it was raining, but only a bit, though we didn't care! Right away we started sniffing out the booths and we made some new pals, and got a bunch of free stuff! Mom even won a free loofah dog! After a while of having fun just doing whatever, it was finally time for our 2 mile walk! So we went to the starting line and sniffed some butts & I had a lot of interest in a beautiful bulldog girl girl with a big slobbery smile and a tight purple shirt. I kept trying to kiss her, which suprised mom, and mom had to end up whiping off my face because I got so much bully drool on me!BOL. The whole walk was so much fun, it was long but fun. And when it was over Murph & me where dog tired! But we still had stuff to do and pups to smell. And after a brake mom put me in my Spock costume that thedavid & mommy have spent the last couple of days working on. She slipped on my little blue shirt, and my dark black pants and then put the final touch on...a comunicator! It is actually a chrismas ornament but it work just as well when mom safty pened it to my pants. It was lots of fun walkng on the stage and having all the peeps in the clap for me! Though sadly I didn't win, I did make it into the top five though!, a sheltie dressed up as the character Maxine won. Her costume was really over the top and she did deserve to win, plus her owner had a bunch of her sheltie rescue friends clapping for them when it was vote time ;), and second place winner was a super adorable basset puppy dressed as a biker dude.He matched his dad (who is a biker dude), mom was really happy when they got 2nd place because the pup was so cute & the guy was very nice while the shelty's mom wasn't the nicest person we have ever met. But we still had the best time ever! And hey mom doesn't have to worry about making a howl-o-ween costume now (bol) And they are even thinking of next years costume......right now we have the idea of a boyscout in mind!

All in all the day was so pawsome, and when we got home about 10:30am I found a good spot on the couch and slept there almost the entire day! BOL. And we got so many free goodies, this morning mom gave Murph man & me each these huge meal bones that we got from a booth. And boy where they gooood! Also yesterday was the day little miss pug went home. Her family came back from their cruise, and drove up to their house (they live a few houses down from us) around 9pm and then walked down to us and picked up Lacey. Well Murph & me are sure happy our week & a half of pug puppy sitting is over!

Oh and almost forgot, we also raised 60 bucks from family & friends! And since we got over thirty five dollars we got a free umbrella! YEAH! Hehehe. And we where going to meet our pal Rudy (a fellow westie) & his mom and fur siblings because he lives in Olathe and came to dog-n-jog. His mom even gave us her number so we could figure out where to meet, but mom forgot the number at home! Ugh moms. So we didn't get to meet them, but we are really hoping next year for sure! And might even get to meet at another event or something like that.

Well **yawn** I am still one tired pup so I am going to go take a nap.

Jelly Beans & Big Bunnies

Hey Pals! Well I am feeling all back to normal. I took my last pill about a week or two ago and when my stool sample came back.......no worms! WOOOHOOO!!! I am completely back to myself.
Well I hope all you woofers are having a grrrreat easter.I sure am, last night when eggs where being painted mom even made me an egg! Well what she was she got a sharpie and drew two spock ears, little eyes, scruffy sideburns, and my scruffy face.The human sisfur (8) made murphy one but only with his name.
This morning I helped the kiddos find eggs that the easter bunny brought. Though I am still trying to figure out why the humans let a big bunny break in their house and leave his eggs. Eeeeeew. But I did get a hold of a few jelly beans and I lub dem!!!
Well theDavid is making some good food then in a few hours they are going to aunite Tamala's & Uncle Tim's house to see the rest of their family including baby Dayton. Who is turning 1 in May! Wozers. Well gotta to the kitchen hopefully thedeavid will drop some egg butts and carrots for me!

Zoom Zoom Zoom (update)

Hot dog I am feeling better! Those meds hit the spot! I was a bit sluggish this morning but hey no poop on the floor or on the bed and I didn't wake mama up three times in the middle of the night.......or at all fur that matter! And I scarfed my rice & kibble breakfast, though I hid my poopies from mom so she still hasn't been able to get a stool sample for the vet to pin point my exact problem but she is hoping to get a sample tomorrow. Also when thelori came home for lunch she let me outside and I did my zoomies! I haven't done zoomies in a while, my ears went back by tail up and dashed faster then a speeding bullet through my yard and of course Murph joined in hopping by my side. And we played and growled and finally had fun! I haven't played with Murphv in furever so he was so happy to play. Though I am still a bit sluggish and bloated but am doing much better.

Your going to stick it where!!?? (Update)

Well since I last barked my stinky situation has gotten much worse and I have slowed down and haven't eaten as much. So off to the vet we go! Mom was able to squeeze me in around 3pm. I was just happy to go fur a car ride! Sick or not car rides are F.U.N!! Mom was suprised to see the big construction going on at our small vet. We walked into the new waiting room and I sniffed around the new tile but was startled by some consruction noise. The humans checked in and we had a seat on the new benches. Mom read a few magazines while I had a sniffing attack and just about pulled her hand off with my constant pulling. A few minutes later a older couple walked in and I went into guard dog mode and and barked and growled, the sweet ladies at the desk just cracked up. When the new peoples walked in I tried to make furiends but they ignored me, and when their little pooch came out she did the same thing to me also! What? How could the say no to this goofy face? Well everyone else that walked in gave me bunches of love and hugs so i guess those peoples just didn't notice my cuteness. And then a new couple came in, younger, with their pointer pup who pranced in at first but as soon as they opened the door he said "NO,NO,NO!" and it took three people and a bunch of treats to get little Charlie Brown inside. BOL. His peeps liked me but he was terrier-fied of me! But the secretary who just loves me gave me a few treats so I was happy. A few tail wags later a new nurse came out in a blue outfit and a bit smile on her face, I ran up to her and she hugged me back! "Ooh I like her" I thought. And then she took me away from my humans and I thought "Oooh I wonder where they are taking me? Maybe to get carrots, maybe for a walk, oooh maybe for a ride!" As I thought this they put me up on a table and stuck a odd object up my fuzzy butt!!!!!!! And I yiped like a yorkie and jumped like a boxer. Then she took me back to the humans though I was a little shaken up at that moment but the nice desk lady gave me more love so it was all good!! We waited again and then into the office we go to see vetman Humphrey and he talked with the people a bunch while I thought of carrots & squirrels. And the vetman said that I probably have a bacterial infection. So he gave mama some pills to help stop my bad poopies and said to feed me rice and chicken for a while until my bad poopies stopped. He also sent her home with a container to collect a "stool sample" aka poopie so he can examine it better so he can really pin-point what is wrong with poor old me. Well I have taken my pill wrapped it cheese and I goobled it down, down, down!! And scarfed my rice & chicken and a bit o' kibble dinner and no poopies yet! Well gotta go, it's time to snuggle in mom's lap.

Pepto Punishment

Hi pals. I was a bad pup last night. I was acting very odd and mom noticed but thought nothing of it. So around 11pm I went to bed with mom and my behavior kept on acting weird. I was shaking & panting heavily and just could not get comfortable. As mom was piecing everything together Is when I squatted.......and left mom a large runny poop mess on her bed while she was in it. She sprung out of bed of before you could say "ewwww!!". She was really suprised because in the five years I have lived with my peeps I have never once ever pooped in the house, I have peed twice but never pooped. She scooped me up and put me outside while she did the nasty job of cleaning up my mess, it soaked through all of her sheets and almost down to the matress. She was so tired she just cleaned it up threw them in the wash, put some old sheets down on her bed and a towel for me and let me in. I pooped a few more times that night and a several more times today. I have also not been myself, mom is worried. But she talked to a friend and her dog (Snickers a poodle) has had this problem before because he is a trash stealer. She recomended a tablespoon of pepto and I should be good (the friend learned this from her vet). One word fur you.......YUCK! I thought it was a treat when mom and thelori brought me into the bathroom. I even went down and layed on the towel they had set out. But I was ambushed!!!! Mom held me while thelori put a surrenge in my mouth and flushed the yucky pink stuff down my throught. They did this two more times and then I got a treat so it's all good.

OH YEAH!! I am just shaking my wiggle butt all the way to the carrot market! Wana know why? Well I am Dog Days Of Painting dog of the day!! Arooooo! Which means that the pawsome painter Terry Stanley paints my the picture I sent in to her a few weeks ago. It is pawtastic and mom is going to put it on my page later tonight. Well I also wana thank my furiends for sending me extra lovin and congrats and to my sweet pal Maggie for sending me a grrreat rosette! Thanks guys!

A nerd in the house!!

Well, today has been a stressful day yes even this early on. Mom had to wake up at 2am this morning because our puppy fur-cousin Baxter(10 month old cavachon, who has been staying with us since last Thursday) decided he wasn't feeling well and lets just say left mom a very big, gross, and smelly "present" on her floor. We woke her up for breakfast around 8am and she knew she wouldn't be sleeping in today like she planned. And then thats when the guys started coming. See we are getting tile put down in our front entry way and the guys are finally actually starting to put the real tile down! I don't like the tile, I always try to avoid walking on the unsteady tile but it is kinda impossible in someplaces. But mom says in time I will LOVE it and will probably spend my hot summer days snoozin on the cool tile. Silly mom. Well if it wasn't enough to hae 22pound Baxter jumping around, and the two guys doing weird things to our entry way we also have a nerd in the house! Well OK mom says that dad & human brofur Carter are nerds but that doesn't count this guy is a pro nerd!! See brudder man Carter's laptop decided to have it's hard drive well kinda die on him. So this morning this little white car pulls up to our house, it is no ordinary white car. It has a penguin on it!!! I thought that maybe they had highly trained penguins that would fix the computer but instead of a penguin coming out of the small car, a guy did! He is a "tech guy" well that's what his car says, and he came in gave me a pat on the head (how could you not!?) and went to work on the computer. Mom asked him a bunch of questions because she has the same laptop but she has about a thousand photos on the computer and will probably go insane if she loses all of the photos! BOL. So all these dudes are in my house plus people keep decided it was a good day to go for a walk because people keep walking down our culd-e-sac and Baxter is giving me a headache from all of his barking. Grrr cousins. Well the nerd dude is going to take the lappy top with him because he still needs to work on it a lot and the worker guys will probably stop fur lunch soon and I can finally get some peace and quiet. Oooh also mama says I may get a walk soon! Woooot wooooot!

Super, duper!

Baroooooooo-ooh-ooh! I am pumped! Wooh! It is super bowl sunday peeps, now the humans aren't huge football fans but come on its SUPER BOWL SUNDAY it is very hard not to be a football fanatic on this day. Well mama wants the Cardinals to win, she loves those under dogs, though I am not sure who I want to win though....... see I enjoy chasing cardinals, they are fast birds but fin to chase. Then I am a fan of steeling. Steeling food, steeling Murphy's bones, steeling cat food or poop, and steeling some trash (I am picky about the trash I steel). Though I am also A mama's boy so I think I will choose Cardinals. GO CARDINALS! WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!!!

TOOOOOOOO-NIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE-TAAAAA!!!

Santa paws...........IS COMING TONIGHT! Read my lips TOOOOO-NIIIEEE-TAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! OMD OMD OMD OMD! Already already already. I still gotta-gotta.... wait. Why am I stressing? Thats mom's job on barkmas eve. Ehhh I think I am going to *yawn* take a nice long nap on the big couch, watching some old christmas show with the human, staying warm, and only imagining the goodies santa paws will bring. I want so much, but mama says I haven't been the best little angel on earth this year. hehehe. Here are only a few things that may make that 18 pound carrot I want not appear under the tree this:
-I bit the neigbors fat old cat (punky) when he wondered into our backyard, I even made his toe bleed.
-I ate catpoop right after mama brushed my teeth.
-I dug more than 10 holes over the summer.
-I dug a new hole and rolled in the mud 10 minutes after mom gave me a bath.
-I escaped the like the houndini I am from the backyard more then 20 times this year.
-I ate the kitties (may she rest in peace) special yummy wet food when she was very very sick.
-I peed in the basement, this was the first time I have EVER peed in the house. What? I really really had to go!
-I stole from the trashcan and ate a few napkins.

I know I was a little booger this year but hey my cuteness makes up for it! Well hopefully santa will still find it in his heart to bring me some yummy yummy yummay good-ays!!!
Well I have also got a head start on the goodie department! My furiend Mags sent me a adorable little westie stocking and a bunch of bully sticks a few weeks ago, and my besties Hershey Lee sent me a scarf, treats, and a bucnh of good stuff about a week ago. Thanks pretty ladies! Lub ya.

My Complete Barkday Wish List

Well Howl-o-ween is over. :( But now we can move on to the best holiday out there.......MY BARKDAY! Yes my b-day is tomorow and I will be the big S-I-X!! Well the human has been so busy with her sick grandma, the pet connection volunteer work, and of course halloween. But people & pups you still have the rest of the day to buy me stuff!! Here is my complete wish list:

Mama told me to things after I told her what I wanted:
1) I probably wouldn't be getting that many things 2)Me getting some of those things are "out of the question"

Trunk Or Treat Smell My Frido Feet!!

Hey *yawn* pals!!
I am dog-on tired. See last night I had a big night. At the local elementary school (which is 5 minutes from our house) held the 2nd annual trunk or treat!! Which is for kids who go to the school or live near by. Trunk or treat is where cars sign up & them and park an decorate their car trucks and pass out candy for kiddos. Since two of "my kiddos" go there we decided to go this year. The 5ht grade boy said no way but the 8year old gal said "YES!! (she is a indian this year). We went around 6:30pm Me(in my adorble piggy costume), mama, the Lori, and our little Native American. I was noticed and admire right away :) the little girl sadly got pretty freaked out by the few people in "scary masks" it wasn't until about an hour or so she started to relax. It was very cold (I was nice & cozy in my oinker costume) but lots of fun. What really made mom's day was my interaction with people. There was this special needs girl who just fell in love with me, and even though I didn't know her (and I never do this to people I don't know) I gave her a little kiss on the nose. She thought getting a "piggy puppy" kis was the greatest thing In the world. Mom even let her walk "the piggy" around for a little bit. I also made a very very sweet old lady smile, she thought I was the cutest thing around (other than her dog, BOL). Mom is sure now that I will be a great therapy dog. Well later today we will going to petco (where the westies go) to enter the costume contest! Wish us luck!!

Oh I get it now! It Makes Since......Kinda.

I get it! I gets it! The peeps aren't selling the garage they are selling things in the garage. Why they are doing this, I still don't know why. But I do know they are FUUUUUUUUUUUUUN! Yesterday I stayed with theLori outside with the garage sale allllll day long. Being the totally pawsome flirt that Iam! But today I was kinda a booger running in front of traffic,hehe,barking at a stranger (I don't like men who wear baseball caps for some odd westie reason),hehehe,wondering,hehehe,and chasing a few cats hehehe.
Well tomorow is another day! Another garage sale and PLAZA ART FAIR!!!!! woot woot.

A Garage For Sale?

I still don't understand humans! And I have been with them my entire life.So theLori and mama have been brining these funny smelling clothes and things from out of the basement storage area. Then they put these wierd stickers on them and now they are putting them on tables and such in the garage. No to mention they keep putting up these silly signs! And now they want to sell the garage! Yes you herd it right! Today while warming mama's feet I herd her say "Yes, the garage sale is going to be a real success this year" wahhhhhhhhhh!? Man I wonder how many bones it will take to buy the garage, probably dinosouar bones!! And how do they bring the garage to their house???
Humans, how are we ever to understand them when they do things like this?

Well Aaaaaaaa-roooooooo to you!

Aroooooo-rub-rooooooooroooo! Arooooooooo. Aroboooooooo! That is all mama has herd. ALL DAY LONG! *tehehe* from yours truly. She says I have extra energy because I slept in with her til 10:30am and I even went to bed early! Well I have been just yappin my flap all day to mom, I also have been somewhat of a stinker.Even though I should be smelling just fine with the hundreds of febreeze collars I have gotten from my pals.THANKS DUDES!
Oh yeah before I forget yesterday I was viciously attacked by a HUGE rapid crazy cat! I am thinking about pressing charges. Well okay maybe she wasn't that big, okay she was about 8pounds! And maybe I wasn't "viciously" attacked. And maybe she wasn't a rapid crazy cat. OKAY OKAY! She is the neighbors little feline that I chesed tried to chew on for a few minutes but my plan back fired when the crazy being turned back and attack my nose! She ran into her yard and mom grabbed me, I was bleeding from my snout. Though she LAUGHED! She said "I needed to learn a lesson".I LET her carry me inside so she could take car of my battle wounds. I had a few tiny little holes on my snout. One right above my nose and two just missing my eye, Mom cleaned them up and put some stingy antibiotic oitment on them. While she did this she found two of the cats claws! *gasp*. Where is my lawyer!?

Howdy pups! Sorry I have not been around.Mom has been home for a few days but has been VERY busy! I have missed you guys. Okay guess what puny gift got me from the lake. A picture frame. A PICTURE FRAME! She says that she will put my photo in it.But I don't care.I can not chew it,eat it,or snuggle it! Rip off.
Uh oh well I am just happy my girls and all the crew are back. Though there is somthing missing. For two weeks (as of Monday) that old furt kitty has been missing.I sniff and sniff but nothing.He food is no longere there.Neither is her poopy box.Mama said she went to heaven, sounds far away. To tell yas the truth I kinda miss her.

When squirrels attack.

I tried to pull some of moms clothes out of her suitcase today. I only got a sock. It didn't work. But!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! Something odd happened today. Mom was chased by two squirrels! Yes they were chasing each other when mom was walking over to a neighbors house and they were coming her way.They would not stop. So mom started running because they were going after her! BOL!!!!!!!!!!Maybe she will understand while those crazy fluffy tailed monsters must be stopped! And chewed on a while. Down with squirrels! Up with dogs!

Yes. Mama,the Lori and the little sister are going to the Lake on Wed. afternoon till Sunday! Then the david and my two human boy sibs are going on Friday to join them till Sunday!!!Now they are going to their friend/neighbor's lake with them and their woofer Louie.Ughhhhhh.
She better bring me back a gift! And a good one at that. Like a squeaky toy or the bets dog treats around. Or maybe a carrot. Any way she better get me somthing good!!!!!!!!!

Splishin and A Splashin

Some great news pals! I have been doing amazing lately! I think it is do to all the support and prayers given to me by my great pals. Well for about 4 days now I have not limped and for about 3 days now I have been keeping down all of my food.I am still a lil sluggish but am turning back to my normal self.Mom even had me do a little "hydro therapy" *rolls eyes* yesterday.The little human sister was playing in the little kiddy blow up pool and she had alreayd dried off and was watching TV so mom picked me up and had me do about 10 minutes of doggy paddle just to help my paw.She also had me splash around a bit, just because my paw has been such a bother.

Bitter Sweet

Well pull my carrot tail! I posted about my hurt paw and upset tummy in my diary & I barked a message in my favorite group WU (Westies Unite). Well I cannot believe all the love & support I have gotten, Mom is all choked up with happy tears. The biggest thanks go to my best pal ever: Hershey Lee. Who posted prayer threads in the get forum for me,paw-mailed her friends to give me some lovin, and e-mailed me & sent me some cute little rosettes.I WUFFFFFFFFFF YOOOOOOUUUUUUUU SOOOOOO MUCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHH HEEEEEERRRSSSSHHHHHHHHH!

Thanks to the greatest prayers around yesterday I limped hardly at all and today not once!! Though my stomach ache has gotten much much worse.Early this morning around 5am mom awoke to me barfing.I barfed 7 more times after that.Well hopefully I'll do better tonight.

I have some sad news. On Sunday night before I headed to bed I was about to let the "boys" outside. I called Josh off the coach and noticed and he was not putting full weight on his front right paw/leg.But I didn't think to much of it, after all we had gone on a big walk that afernoon, and he ran around alot up at the field we walked up to.Plus he is known to have foot problems: October06 he had a infection in his paw & the vet gave him a pink cast some meds, and fluids.Feb07 he pulled a tendon in his paw from chasing squirrels and was rushed to the vet the morning we saw his problem because he could not walk at all.He got a pink cast, some meds,some fluids,some words from the vet. So I let him outside he did his duty with Murphy and he trotted off to bed with me. That morning my mom checked him out and he was not walking on it but not limping.When I woke up he could hardly walk.He was in bad pain and was limping everyplace he hobbled off to.He was also dog-tired and a bit grumpy. So we picked up some plain asprin and a bandage roll to wrap up his paw.Well this morning, almost worst.And not to mention it he has barfed over 6 times, and is not doing to well.I know,I know.I should take him to the vet but we are still going to wait a little bit.He is still our happy little trooper, ever time I walk him in the backyard I just burst out laughing.He is still strutting around,his paw out like super man, and his tail waggin like crazy.Well if you sweethearts could keep my big guy in thoughts one more time I would forever be in your debt.

Dog-njog: The best day EVAAAAAAAAAA! (I WON!!)

June 8th,2008:Hi everywoof, well a hour or two ago murph,the humans and myself came home from the dognjog. We left at around 6:50 in da mornin and arived around seven to the dognjog location on the plaza.I was very tired the whole ride there, until we entered the plaza.Then I was back to my normal hyper self.One of the first things we did was sign up for me and mom up for a mini agility class that was going to start in a few minutes (it was only 5$!And all the money collected in all the booths go to the shelter). The training ladies started everywoof off getting to know the "table". At first I just put my paws ontop of the table so I could get the treat,hehehe,but I soon got the hang of it. Then we did the pole jump, and at first I decided I was better off going around the funny obstacle but I finally learned: jump funny stick & I get funny treat! Then was the tunnel whcih I flew through! But at the end when they made it bigger I protested, and then the pertty ladies made the tunnel of no return smaller and I saw mama so I bulleted through the thing like my life depended on it! It was lots of fun. Because you had to start at the newest obstacle and then go through the entire thing and stop at the table.The last obstacle was the tire which was well weird.I love to jump over normal obstacles but a tire?Only some good liver treats got me to do that one.After class mom signed me & Murph up for contests later on in the day.Murph for the cutest dog contest, and me for the costume contest (she brought my pirate costume in her backpack). After that we looked at all the venders on the left side, we got lots of free goodies! Including LOTS of treats and some toys and goodies.Murph and me even got to "advertise" for petco whith petco bandanas that we recieved from the overly perky petco ladies.After strutting around in our advertisement bandanas me,murphy and the furless ones walked over to the group of woofers & humans waiting for the 2 mile walk to start.We waited,chatted,sniffed,had our pictures taken and all that good stuff.Murph and me were just starting to mingle with a near by poodle when we herd a "BANG!" that made us jump & look around like we had just been swatted on the butt.But we didn't have to long to freak out because about 3 seconds after the noise everypup starting walking and jogging on their way. I was still tired, mommy also.Murph and our Lori were doing pawsome! Which suprised mom,Murphy not Lori, because normally Murph is all skiddish and bit puttsy and his tail is down and he is just nervous.But no!He was ready to go,he was happy and proud his tail was high up and waggin the entire time!I was laggin behind a bit but not for long, all in all It was lots of fun! On the start of the fourth lap we did stop for a quick water break, then we were back on track!After the fun though tiring walk we headed down the streat, looking at some of the vendors we missed before and then we got a puppy cone by the stage.The gals ate theirs up, me asnd Murph scarfed ours.We even got a brain freeze and mama had to go get us some water! BOL.After that we went got some drinks & a quick snack.After the pit stop mom relized the contest we signed up for were starting in minutes!So we ran down to the stage, were mom whipped my pirate outfit out of her backpak and slapped it on me.First was Murp's contest,cutest dog contest,sadly he did not win but an adorable great dane did win.Next was my contest the judges,two DJs from the country music station,looked around and giggled.Then they announced their top favorites, and that from these tops favorites the audience would decide by clapping the loudest for their favoirte.And the top pups are:The shih-tzu in the poodle sckirt,the poodle as a cowgirl,the basset as a icecream sundae,tthe pirate (MOI!)he lab as a bee,and the pug as the hotdog. Mom was suprised though she did know that the judges thought I was cute.So they went through asked our names,our breed,our coustume etc.As they went through peeps clapped the loudest for their favorite.In afew minutes their was a tie.Me!!A cute little grey poodle dressed as a cowgirl, and a adorable shihtzu in a poodle skirt. They went through and in the end mom had her hand over her mouth and was almost in happy tears (she's a complete sap! BOL).WE WON!!I WON THE CUTEST DOGGY COSTUME CONTEST IN 2008 KC (DOGNJOG)!!!! OMD!People we wooping and clapping photographers were coming up and taking our photos, it was great.Ad people started clearing out they handed us our prize,a big prize package wrapped in plastic.A wonderful nice bed(that I lub!),lots of treats,bones,a pet dish you can write on, a $10 gift card to petco,a x-mas stocking,a meaty bone,balls,several chew toys,and a bandana. As we got off the stage mom and our Lori were smiling and squeaking like cats on kitty nip.When a group of ladies and their cairn terriers came up to us. They congratulated us and told us how much they LOVED me and my outfit, and that I deserved to win.They also talked about how cairns and westies are related and that they think I am so very cute (I have that effect on womem;)That was mom's favorite part she thought that was so sweet, she said "Well josh I guess you have a fan club now!"We then took our stuff and went home.Life has been like cloud nine eversince then.(I might even be in the news or newspaper!)

Hurt tummies & Dog-n-jogs: Summing it all up!

PUP PALS! **hugs** Oh how I missed you so. Man do I have alot to catch you guys up on! I guess the major thing is I got very sick over Memorial day weekend starting early early Friday morning when I vomitted about ten times that morning & during the day about five more times. Saturday early morning I vomitted about six times and four more times during the day. Now I was hardly keeping anything down and was becoming very weak and dehydrated. But a pal of mine suggested trying broth. So mommy did that night.Sunday: no barf & Monday: No barf! I have gone almost two weeks and am all better! But did give mama a bit of a scare.But mom says I am "sluggish" after a not very long walk. She also says I am getting "chubby" CHAH! what does she know! I have been getting some more excersize,kinda,this past week or so. Last weekend the family had to go to the PV art fair because a cousin of mom's (who is only in the 5th grade) had a garage band performing there. I got to come, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!There were tons of other pooches, there were some new friends that I just hadn't met yet,treats, and bootiful art! Mom found an adorable cartoon of dog that looks just like MOI!Mom sadly said we couldn't get it, she told me it would cost alot more than a couple milk bones(BOL)!She took a goofy photo of me that we will load on in a day or so. OH! Almost forgot to tell you about the dog-n-jog. Well since it's time to go back to dreaming about girl westies I will just copy the info from a post I made: Hi everywoof! Josh here,
well about a week or so ago mom finally got around to siging me & her (her mom & my brofur Murphy are also going) up for the 21st annual Dog-n-jog which benefits our local Humane Society and all the wonderful work they do. It is this Sunday at the plaza and is a HUGE event. This is our first year & we cannot wait at all, there will be LOTS of dogs,treats,information,walking/jogging/running, and just plain fun! But we are crossing our paws it won't be rainy & yucky on sunday like it has been these past few days.
Anywoof, mom signed us up for the two mile jog and with me & murph (1 human for each) it was about 25$ for both when you registered that went to this great shelter. And mom knows she will spend over 30 or so dollars at the walk even though most things are only about five bucks.:) Well my main goal in posting this is asking you guys to help me, my mama, and my brofur raise money for homless animals & this wonderful animal shelter.Wana know a simple way you sweethearts can help? I have been so busy! I am sneeking on right now & this is porbably the only time I will be able to for the next three days! Been SOOO busy!Well on Thursday I got a late Easter pressie from one of my best buds Hershey!Mom opened it herself but me and Murph were bouncing around because we know that all the stuff is for us.BOL.I got:
A skull & cross (because I am a pirate pup;) bone bandana
A "I love my westie" ribbon magnet
Two big dog bone treats (1 for murph the other for moi!)

Thanks Hersh! After we got the presents mom let me sniff around the bag.Before she knew it I had half torn the bag into tiny pieces.Then Murph joined in! Mom was to busy laughing to notice the mess we made her.We soon got tired and I trotted off to chew on my hedge hog as mom cleaned up little pieces of envelope.You gotta love moms! (BOL)

YEAH!

The furless came home around 9:30 at night on Thursday. Mom came in first because she missed her boys so much, plus the rest of the humans were moving the what they call a 'jeep' and parking the van in the garage.In seconds mom was inside, gooing over us, feel to her knees, kissed us a thousand times as she scooped us in her arms and we were not reluctant at all for that! And she was cooing sweet baby talk to us in no time flat. That night the family settled back in and unpacked and loved on their furbabies.........US! Oh and that old grump of a cat 'Maggie'.I didn't let any of them out of my sight actually that turned out to be bad because I stalked the David outside while he was putting somthing away and he didn't know so I got locked outside for a little while and brrrrrr it was cold! Don't worry I was inside spooning with mommy in notime at all! I gave mom some space yesterday but not much today because she left me to shop today! How dare her I was still on the mend *sniffle*. Well I have to go sleep because they keep talking about this 'easter bunny' (aka easter dinner YUM!) that comes at night and leaves goodies, so *yawn* bring on the goodies!

But-but-but........I wana come!

Bags are being packed. Petsitters (neighbor/good friend's 11 year old kid RJ) are being called. Hotel rooms are being booked. Only means one thing...the huamns are leeving Murphy, The old fart cat Maggie, and me home alone! And I am right! The family is going on a 10hour drive from Prairie Village KS to Denver CO.They leave tomorow around 7am and will be back late night Thursday. See mom's 34 year old cousin Dylan (who she has only met about twice) was found by his roomate early Friday morning in a coma. The doctors did everything they could but he died that night.He was born and raised in Denver by mom's aunt, so mom and family are out to Colorado for his memorial service, and two comfort his mom (our aunt), step-dad (our uncle), half sister & brother (our cousins),his sister (our cousin), his two young daughters ages 2 & 5, and his ex-wife.Mom MIGHT have some time on either Tuesday or Wednesday to bark for me quickly but we'll see.We will have our neighbor/friend RJ and his parents watch us furkids, they left about 20 minutes ago after mom talked to them and showed them everything they need to do while we are on our impromptu trip.

WOOHOO! Prezzies from Hershey!

Today mom came home about a hour or so later because she helped at a nursing home playing valentines bingo with some of the residence.When she got home her grandparents were there, they were staying for dinner! She chatted with them for a while but then before strating her assignments she checked the mail and found a package for me, from the one and only Hershette! Mom felt bad right away because Hershey present's has been sitting in her closet since Janurary (early), BAD MOMMY! B.O.L
Here is what the amazing Herhsey Lee gave me:

Puppy Bowl! (Go team westie;)

Today was a grrreat day. But in the morning, it was raining and hailing and there was thunder! Eeeep! I do not like thunder, nope,nope,nope.Well around 11am mom saw that the National dog show had just began, she was happy because she had forgotten to watch it last night. It went on till 3in the after-noon.I sat with her half the time watching, but she made sure I watched when the terriers were up! But sadly the handsome westie boy CJ did not make it.But some bootiful woofers did make it. Then right after the dog show, was the puppy bowl! Mom turned that on in the dinning room as she worked on some of her assignments at the table, I layed on my fluffy green pillow and observed the pups.There was one westie that every time he was on Mum got up and made sure to watch him (Lori also).His name was Jackson, he looked like a spitting image of me in my puppy days!Mom and the Lori were laughing and laughing!All that little guy wanted to do was play play play, chew on a toy and play play and play!He really liked to play with the dogs, and when he played he used all the "moves" I use!There was also another westie pup, his name was Justin! I think he was a week or two younger than Jackson.He was a bit more smaller and not as spunky and hyper.He didn't really want to play but wanted to chew chew chew and chew on all of those stuffies!He would grab a stuffie then drag it to the corner he did this with about 5 different toys! I like to kind of do the same thing, I like to grab Murphy's bone strut around with them and then hide them!
Well it has been a pawsome and long day

2008!

Happy New Year! And this year I didn't totally go freak over the fire-works that David set of.I did shake a bit but it only took me about 10 minutes to calm down rather than a hour!I didn't even freak out when the humans were blowing these very odd noise makers outside. One sounded just well, wierd the other sounded like a car horn and a bit of a whale mating call combined! BOL.Well I slept like a baby last night even with fireworks going off till 4 in the morning.And it is always a good start of the year to check your dogster page and see your buds left you some special gifts.Like Maggie, who gave me a wonderful rainbow star! (Thank you Maggie Girl!) And my pawsome gal-pal Hershey Lee Left me a heart rosette! Awww how sweet! (Thank you Hershette)
And today is my westie dude pal Sur Toby's 14th Barkday! Not 4th,not 6th,not even 10th. 14 th bakrday!And Maggie's Boxer sister Shiloh celebrates her first barkday! Happy B-day!Well I have to trot off and get ready for a nice squirrel "hunt".

Christmas was, well whats the word...... FANTASTIC!

I got some pretty pawsome stuff for woofmas! Sorry for posting this a day late mom was able to check out dogster yesterday and actaully could have gotten on a bit more but it's woofmas ya now. Busy busy,hectic,busy! Well anywho mommy bought me (and Murph) some grrreat stuff for barkmas! In the morning when the kids mom and the Lori & David stumbled into the dinning room to flutter through the stockings. Mom and Lori got me and Murph a little see through bag with red snowflakes on, but what was in it was more pawsome (BOL) There was raw hide bones in the shapes of candy canes with little rawhide strips the colors of red & green wrapped with it! We got those first, and we chewed on them a bit but not really. Then we got our other treat out of the bag. Mommy told me both the "candy cane" and this treat was from land of paws! Mmmm they have great treats!It was fat big milk bone kind of treat with doggy icing! And a few sprinkles. It was tasty, sure was. Mom took a video of me and Murph eating ours with he brand new much adored camera! (WOOT!) But while at the other humans house the camera went all weird and all of the photos and videos she took that morning were gone! Mom was a bit upset because she took some photos she REALLY liked. But she was fine after a wittle bit. Well any way back too me (BOL) and Murph & me both got busy bones, they even had thier special little dental christals colors of well holiday colors! (Green & red) but we didn't get to chew those around 11am when the family was off to the Uncle's house. And Santa Paws sure suprised the entire family, Including me/Murph he put a pair of gold colored....Doggles in our stocking! Me & mom have been wanting doggles for a while, and if I do say so myself I look mighty fine in them! :D I cannot wait to go in the car another time and try those bad boys out! I sure had a great day. Today me and Murph nibbled on our christmas rawhides, well I nibbled Murphy chomped to bits. BOl. Hey there is so no kidding when it comes to Murp's bones that pup adores his rawhidebones! Well I also enjoyed ripping up some of the paper yesterday! *sigh* just another reason why Christmas is....PAWSOME! Plus the great things woofmas brings to dogster! More support & love and all that good stuff. And lots of pups have more photos, which I like! I like it when my pals get new photos eespically pups hwo don't have alot of photos.
Well even though I am super content and happy I do have a tiny bit of sorrow in my heart today, so does mommy. A year ago today our smilin old buddy Griffy became a fur-angel. It broke so many hearts, the wort one of his mommy. But we all know he is watching over his mommy and his new "brother" Morgan. Griffy even gave me a rainbow star the other day, because I made him a thread in the plus friendly section about how it was almost his one year fur-angel mark. Thank you Griffy and I will never forget you my fellow smilin white furiend ;)

Opened my prezzies from Hershey & Maggie today!

Yep. I was going to wait till woofmas but mom couldn't wait (BOL). I first opened Hersheys, and she gave me a pasome chew rope with a rubber bone on it it is grrreat! And a HUGE bag of tasty yummy treats! Thank you Hershette and your mommy too of course! I love you guys with all of my heart! :D And when we took the pakcages out the box from Maggie the two gifts inside we wrapped and I kind of opened the first one but not really. It was a beautiful necklace for my mommy! Maggie & her mum are such wonderful pals! I opened the second package and got so caught up in ripping up the paper I didn't even notice what the prezzie was!?! It was a pawsome "poodle". It was a green stuffy bit it's legs and part of it's tail was pull rope! I named her "Cocktail!" B.O.L!

December 21: I went to the plaza!

Every year the family goes down to the plaza in the winter to see the lights. And almost ever since I have been living with them I get to go! I also usually get to go with them to the plaza art fair which is in September but that time it really didn't work they had to go to world's of fun the same day and they had the then 2 year old (he is 3 now) human cousin. So when they all piled in the car (I of course was the first one in!) and mom gave Murph a special treat to chew on while we were gone. I also got to wear my little blue petco sweeter. But before we the plaza the people had to eat dinner so they stopped my a Applebees (even though the little kids really wanted Burger King; me too i love thier fries! YUM BOL) I threw a bit of a fit while they were in there but soon I curled up on the passenger seat and took a good nap, but keeping my radar ears open for anything out of the ordinary. Mom came to the car a bit earlier than anyone else to let me do my duty before we left again. I sniffed and greeted people coming out of the building. One guy even said "Hey is that a pitbull? Well little lady you know those are illegal!" but of course it was in a joking way! And mom responded with a giggle in her voice " he is no pitbull but he sure is vicious." And she said this as I was jumping up on the guy trying to get him to pet me. BOL. As we were driving into the plaza hedding into the parking garage I was whining wanting to get out and sniff. Then mom pointed out this huge huge westie pulling a cart thing full of people. She called it a "horse". The big white beast was going by our car, mom gave a little ruff just to see how I would react and of course I was giving my best westie guard dog bark at the thing. The people outside thought it was so funny! Finally after parking and walking out of the car garage I smelled all of the nice smells. Everyone (throughout the entire stay people were like this) around laughed and awwed over as they called it "my cute wittle jacket". I was able to go in one of the stores well I was being carried but thats not the point (BOL). The other two or three I stayed outside and was greeted by some sweetheart people. We even got to stop by the Three Dog Bakery! Many of you know about the bakery, but you may not know that the bakery all started in Kansas! WOOT! I was able to walk around in there of course, I wanted mom to buy me some treats for barkmas but she said she already got me my barkmas goodies! *eyes grow big* WOOT! I cannot wait too see what it is! Oh and after being at the plaza for maybe a hour and 30 minutes we headed out. And on the way home we all got to stop on Sheradens! And I got myself a very yummy puppy cone! (Wich is a small little vanilla ice cream cone, for FREE) I am still tired of the entire event *yawn* well after a nice run in the backyard I will take a good nap!

It's too cold for white dogs when It's white outside! (BOL)

Wednesday the big white stuff flowed all around, it is almost all gone now which is okay for me because when it is white outside it is to cold for white dogs! ;) But it's supposed to come all back times 5 by Sunday! Chippy The Hamster!? (And Turkey Day Tag)

Well sorry I have not been around pals! Mom has been so busy! I truly would like to send thanks yous to every single one of you but right now we do not have the time! But you do not know how much it means to me when i get a special gift or a star or a rosette from one of you sweeties. THANK YOU ALL! Well I have a good amount of things to bark about, well I guess I will start with barking about that rat (they call a hamster) named "chippy". Well the little human sister Gracie (7yrs old) has been waiting so long to take care of her 2nd grade classes class pet. A fluffy little Hamster(I think they are called Teddy bear hamster Not sure) his name is Chippy. Well Gracie is lucky because she loves Chippy and she gets him for a extra long weekend! See yesterday was the kids last day of school till Monday (Thanksgiving Break). I got a chance yesterday to sniff Chippy. But mom was very careful very very. I tried to snap at him which mom predicted. Im i a terrier for barking out loud! ;) Hehehehe! Chippy also gets to sleep in "my" room (actually it is "my mom's room" and her sister's...yeah yeah) But i didn't whine or anything i just snored up a storm like i usually do when i am sound asleep. This morning after brushing Chippy (Me & Murph were outside chasing birds and getting muddy) Well Mom and Gracie put him in his little clear ball. It is old and has bunches of cracks but mom says we might buy him a new one at petco! i hope i getta come I LOVE petco!Any way when they let me & murph inside we sniffed and pawed at the ball mom watching closely. But to tell you the truth it took us a good 5 minutes to even get close to it! We were scared! But soon i figured out that chippers was in the ball and licked the ball and pawed at it. Then i decided me and Chips needed some privacy so i found a crack in the ball and I put my teeth through the crack, picked up the ball and trotted out the living room. Mom started Laughing and laughing Grace was about to have a heart attack! Knowing that Chip was safe mom sat still and called me as grace ran at full speed spanked my bottom a wittle bit (not hard at all) and grabbed the chippy ball and ran back to the living room. Ehh oh well.

3)I am Thankful for my pawsome vet Dr.Small! He has helped me alot, I think once when i had to go get my foot bandaged up and stuff he was not there but the other vet was great to! Dr,Small and the other people at my vet know how to just fix my paws up right when i get itno little problems! heheh!
4)I am thankful for CARROTS! (and all of the food that I can have and am not supposed to have ;)
5)I am thankful for the big backyard I have! It even have a pound that David annd a few other people made less than a year after they moved in! In my backyard i can be Lori's garden buddy or chase everything! or just sniff sniff sniff!
6)I am thankful for my lasha mix "brother" Murphy. He is my snuggle pal, my play mate, my brother. We LOVE to play fight with each other. And make each other jealous by stealing each others toys. I love him and he loves me (in a brotherly way of course! BOL)
7)I am thankful for the five years (so far) that god has given me on earth.

It was a grand, grand day!

Today was that day again! I get to go on a "camp out" per say. Well see me and my family drive out (it takes about 30minutes+) Lori driving (of course) mom in shot gun, Gracie & Evan in the back and David driving in his truck. See Carter is on his normal boy-scout camp out, (he went out there yesterday and stayed the night) and then the family drives out like they do evey year for the troops Thanksgiving "fiest". Last year the weather was cold and just plain uncomfortable (last year was the first time i went!) But this year the weather was great. Not to cold, not to warm great fall weather! Me on the other hand I was not so great. I mean i was very good i listened to mama did not go off far and i had a blast but the car ride there was well not so fun (BOL). For some reason I whined my big head off almost the entire ride there. But like i said before after the ride, i was wonderful. I sniffed sniffed sniffed. OMD there was so many smells! Then i found some loose pieces of turkey (mmmm). I rolled in the dead grass oooh did that feel good!And the other humans there just adored me! So of course i got plenty of ear scratches wich is always a good thing. Man it was just so much fun! I went on the trail a few times, once with mum and once with mom and the kids. (Mom took lots of photos along the way!) I ran through the leaves and peed on many plants and trees and sniffed some more. And when we got to this woodland "church" (it is actaully just on a little hill on the trail with a spictacular wooden croos ;fairly big hanging above a podiem and there are many benches to sit at like a little outside church) and i sat there and prayed for all of my pals then told mom it was time to go trecking on the trail once more!I played with my little kid humans in the fields we chanced each other and laughed and truly had a grand old time. After 2-3 hours of being there we had to leave. I was sad but dog-on tired1 I had a quiet ride home sleeping on mom's lap gazing out the window while music played on the radio and the wild hyper kids chattered in the background. It was a good day.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today is my mommy's b-day and Carter's b-day! (They are twins) But first of all i have to tell you about how I was a cheeky boy yesterday. First before the humans found it i found a dead bird! (Mom didn't see it the other family mebers told her) It was a morning dove. Which is one of mom's favorite birds so she was sad for that little guy or girl. I started chewing on it! YUM! Or as mommy said "YUCK!" Yep that is what she said when Lori told her. The boys buried the little birdie and gave it a name. Tweeters. After that naughty deed was done and everybody was inside I decided to take a dip in the ice cold freezing pond. Now this was hard for a few reasons. One the humans had just put up the net all around the pond to keep leaves out, Two the only times I have actaully swam in the pond was one time in Dec. when i fell in standing on ice and almost got very sick! Another time was when mom let me go for a quick swim (I didn't like it),. Now there was a itty bit of net not there and they are geusing that is how i got in there. Because when i came inside i was freezing and dripping wet! After getting dry i came downstairs and ate all of the kitty food. Then i barfed.
*Sigh* But I promise i will not be fresh today mommy! It's your b-day!

You just made my week! (BOL) Mom has been stressed out and very busy but all of this kindness and just giving has made her less stressed out.

Best Barkday You Could Ask For

WOW I HAD A PAWSOME BARKDAY! I got a extra long car rride. Then i barked on dogster for a while. I kept a eye on mommy as she wrapped my prezzies. The i barked some more on dogster as some sweet sweet pups gave me a truck-load of rosettes! Holy flying milk bones! Thank you guys!
I had a super eatcra yummy in the tummy super barkday dinner. My normal dog food, a tiny bit of a new dog food sample we got, cottage cheese, normal little bits of yellow cheese, Two carrots, a few pieces of bolagna, and a dog treat stuck in the middle. Mom sung me happy birhtday and i scarfed my dinner. Then I OPENED my presents all by myself. Well she helped me with the last one.

*A great red bandana with dogs and cats on it and it reverses to a blue pattern with leashes shampoo and stuff!

On the way home from school, today mom Lori Gracie and Carter stopped at Lan of paws (It is right across from the school That is were grandpa got me from and me & murph were in the car) I know they were getting me barkday prezzies. Petco Halloween Contest!

This morning I knew somthing was up. But not really Me and Murph were covered In mud! So we got a bath. AND MAN DO I LOOK HANDSOME! (BOL)
And Around 2pm Murphy, Mom, Lori, the 10yr old human boy Evan and Me packed into the Car and drove up to petco! (wich is only about 5 minutes away)Mom put my pirate costume on and put Murphy's giraffe costume on and we went into petco.
Mum said there was a Howl-O-Ween contest going on. Lots of fun!There was another pirate though, a sweet poodle. We really liked each other. Mom signed us up and people took our pictures. Not the judges. Just other very sweet/kind people there. (And thier pets)
Thier was a doxie dressed as a police pup and his owner as a convict!
There was a female yorkie and her owner made her costume......she was dressed as a table.The owner was dressed as a waitress.There was even a kitty! She was the first so show off her stuff. She was a black kitty dressed as a witch (she was the only kitty, she was in a carrier when she was not showing off her costume) There was a bulldog pup dressed as a bumble bee. There was two shih tzu girls (thier owner was very funny & KIND!)
One dressed as dorthy the other as the nice pink witch!
Oh and one of the best ones was a pug named Milo (he was a older pug but very cute) and he was in a big red waggin with a little almost one year old girl. They were dressed as Garth Brooks and I think his wife. Oh and at the last moment a little pup came in. A chi. 2 months old a male with his sweet mommy and his little boy. He was so small! I mean tiny tiny tiny. He was i think about maybe 3lbs AT THE MOST! He was dressed as a wittle dragon!
After showing off our stuff (by the way mom dressed up a wittle but like a pirate so we were matching!) we had to wait for a while. The judges took each woofs/meows photo but they keep them and put them on a special board in the front of the store so everyone can see them!
Ech pup got a bag of treats (a good size bag; and since Both me & murph entered we got 2 bags!) and we got lots of coupons off toys and treats and a free sample of a healthy dog food.And a little boy (the little boy that belongs to the tiny Chi. Jerry) loved me! and gaved me mucho mcuho treats :D
Finnaly the judges anounced the winners......it would be so hard so many wonderful costumes. third places the shih tzus form the wizard of Oz! second pleace Milo the pug as Garthe Brooks! And first pleace the yorkie dressed as a table! We were so happy even though we didn't win. Got lots of treats. And LOVE!
Well gosh I am one tired woof!

Thursday Night Report!

Today was my little human brothers 10th B-day happy birthday little i mean big Evan! Love your favorite westie :D
Well i also got some yummy yummy treats from my pal Hershey They are so good thank you Hershey Lee!
I was also so happy to see that the new coolest pet contest is up and running again we voted alot and will enter ove the weekend. But i was heartbroken to see that my beloved pal Tigger who was only 8 years old and a huge fighter had been overwhelmed by the horrible sin cancer and became a angel. I am crying huge westie tears for her but I know she is having a great time up there.

Not what i was hoping for....but still pawsome.

We couldn't go to the plaza art fair today, everyone was pretty sad; we could not go because David had to go stay with our Grandpa Ken (his dad) who is the hospital, he had knee replacement surgery a couple weeks back. And he hurt himself so went back to the hospital 2 days ago, and grammy needed some rest. And we can't go to the plaza the humans are going to this place called worlds of fun! No dogs can go! DARN!
Well Lori bought me a pawsome bandadna for the plaza but i wll wear to the plaza next year, but i did get to go somewere tonight. After dinner mom the rest of the kids and Lori and me got in the car t go visit Grandpa Ken. I couldn't go in, but the weather wasn't to hot so i stayed in the car and after words i got to show off my sexy bandana! And get icecream! (well a puppy cone!) So it has been a good day. I am a sleepy boy! Nighty night all!

Tomorow i get to go to the plaza art fair i have been going for almost how long i have been living with mom. We brought murphy last year but it is just not his thing! Mom brushed me all nice and clipped some of my hair so it is not all messed up and in my eyes! I can not wait! FOODS SMELLS OTHER DOGS PEOPLE FUN!

Howdy Pups!

Sry i haven't barked in a while! The humans have been very busya nd they have a super duper busy weekend this week. But on friday i get to go to the plaza art fair again! That is always fun, and i might spot a pup from dogster even!! :) I will put more info on that later and what the hoomans are doing over the weekend.
I was glad to woof with my beloved pal Herhsye over the weekend though, oh and mom got me some 3 dog bakery goodies they are called "rrrrribs" they are great! Well gotta go! UHHH! CRAZY HUMANS!

So much to bark about in so little time!

I have alittle time to woof but so much to bark about!! I will start with my bridge pals. Over the past 3-4 days three of my dear pals have died.

Barney~Barney was one of my first dogster pals and at the age of 11 was doing fine. He has many friends and is very loving. But he has been sick lately and on the 6th i had learned he had passed away. I will always miss him and always think of him.

Taz~Taz is our pal Ruffian's fur-cousin and a great pup-pal! We sadly found out he became a bridge angel on 9-4-07 at the age of 3years old because he saved his owner from a sworm of bees! WHAT A HERO! His girl human (ruffian's mom) is heartbroken over his loss and really needs some love. Taz is a true hero.

Sugar~Sugar was a sweet pal of ours. She was one old chubby lil cutie! And passed away on 9/5/07! Her owners are really sad :(( and please send her alot of love.

Okay now for a bit more happier news!
Well yesterday while checking my rosettes i found out in a little red apple that my beloved gal pal Hershey is back!!! Hershey is a pawsome girl and my best pal! We even send each other presents. And usually p-mail each other everyday. But her computer exploded!! And her; her mom and her yorkie sis Shilo have been without dogster for 3 weeks!! Hersh even missed her one year dogster mark wich i knew she was going to have a big party and everything! And her mom was supposed to put her baby sister Shilo on dogster when she was 6months old (in august) but with the dang computer she couldn't! I am so happy to have her back! I missed my cavy pal soooooo much!

And some of the best news is that i found out.....I HAVE A FAN!! YES A FAN! He told me in a little AMERICAN FLAG!. Here is his page- Mackenzie!! I can not believe i have a fan! Thanks so much Mack i love writing in ymdiary and now i do even more! And i love reading your diary! WOOHOO! What's next....groupies?? (BOL JK) Well i think mack and me are going to be wonderful pals!

What a westierific day!

Today has been super duper westierific! Yep Yep Yep!
Well this morning mom got out the leash but she was wearing her swimsiut. (Odd!!) And then took my collar off and the leash on my. And left murphy in the house. I thought yeah i get to go for a walk! But mom walked over to our pond (with her camera in the other hand)
And she put me in the pond! I was bit freaked out because the last time i was ever IN the pond was a couple of winters ago when i the pond was frozen over and i decided to walk on the ice and fell in! Luckily i was able to get out and david found me soon after! But any way i could touch most of the way but then we got to the deeper end! Now the pond is man made when the family bought the house no pond was there David had to make it! It is a fairly small pond but we love it! But i was confused we are normally never ever allowed to be in the pond! Okay back to my story, well the fish we being annoying the were swimming by me and tickled my tummy because they thought it was feeding time! (They think every time they see a person it is feeding time BOL!) Mom got a few photos but they were okay! My butt sunk a bit but mom would hold my tail sometimes. After a little while i kinda liked it. And in one part i just swam in place it was a good way to burn a few extra pounds also! BOL! Then i got out but i went back in with mom about two more times actually mom was in the pond because she wanted to see how i would do! The it was murphy's turn but first i rubbed on the towel and had a after swim romp around the yard! After murph's swim it was bath time! Yuck! Because we smelled bad from the pond, plus mom said we really needed a bath!Mom got the hose out and the shampoo and got another leash and hooked them one on murphy & one on me. Mom has given us baths with hose before but usually in the front because that hose has a special nizzel but she rinced us both then i got to go first with the shampoo! When i was done when put me on the back porch with a towel and i dried myself. While mom was soaping murph Lori came out and said somthing to mom and went back inside. Then we herd this barking. Then murph started barking, i knew who it was right away i alsmost forgot mom told me he was coming over. Then the sliding door opended and i started doing my bestest wiggle but dance and whining like crazy! It was my grandpa!!! I gave him lots of butt wiggles and westie kisses, and i love him so much! It was good timing he got to see me nice and clean! Murphy was still barking becasue he was getting a bath and couldn't see grandpa yet! Grandpa stayed for a while! It was a great day! But man am i pooped! Time to go take a 4 hour nap!Bark at you all as soon as i can!

A pawsome Saturday!

Well today has been great! This morning i slept in with mommy but i didn't let her sleep in to late ;) Then when she got up i started playing around with Murphy. David and lil hooman sister Gracie were leaving to run to get some stuff, i started to jump into David's truck but he just scooped me up and put me back in the house :(
So i started bugging mom and Lori when Lori finally went and got one of my toys MY SOCKY! And i chased after it and did laps around the house and played keep away from Murph. Fun fun fun. Then Lori told mom she had to run down to the school to turn off some sprinklers and turn on others (since david & lori help out with the courtyard and all the plants at the school they are very good at it!) Mommy asked if I could go with he rbecause i was a hyper boy. She said no at first but once she opened the door and i ran in the garage and jumped up on Gracie's little Car seat she said i could! woohoo! Lori just moved some sprinklers while i ran around in the front field but do not owrry Lori had her eye on me. I got to go back up to the school 2 more times! And those 2 times Murphy & Mama came! It was alot of fun! Ooh and also on our way back from the 3rd time up there Lori and Abb decided to pick up some burgers for them and the boys (Carter & evan who were at home) Murphy and Me sat on Mom's lap and when Lori pulled in to this odd window a guy opened the window and tookLori's money from her hand! I was about to bark but then the guy said what a cute dogs we are! And he said he just loved my ears! :D

LESS DOGSTER TIME!

Ahh man! Well mommy starts school again 2morow wich means les dogster time. But i will try to visit dogster at least once a day and atleast try to check my paw-mail but that might be all i can do. But if you need anything just give me a paw-mail and i just want to thank everypup who has given me a rosette or shall give me a rosette in the future you guys truly make me feel like a million bucks!

I learned some new tricks!

Well this morning mom was thinking of how she has been meaning to teach me some new tricks. And since my newest trick was he teaching me to jump in the bathtub on command she wanted to teach me somthing that had me jump over a object.But it finally came to her,so she got out the swiffer duster and brought it to the back porch then she got the little tin bucket that she uses to wash our feet and turned it upside down the she got the stool and balanced the swiffer on them. And then she got some little taining snacks for me and the training leash and took me on the backproch. At first i really didn't want to jump over that thing! Mom had to pull me at first and i kind of jumped over it then i saw the treat and jumped right over! Within seconds i didn't even need the leash i was pro ;) And i also learned to crawl under it. Aka doing the army crawl we showed off my trciks to the family! They gave me lots of love!
It was a good day.

GRANDPA!

Around 4PM Grandpa Came over! I was in the backyard sniffing around and i didn't hear or see Grandpa and Lori come out on the back porch then after 10 minutes i was walking around and spotted him! Him then my ears went back my tail went 50 miles a hour and raced up to him and started whining and doing my happy dance! Grandpa stayed for dinner! It was alot of fun!

Mom what are you doing??

Well today around later aftrenoon. I saw mom come outside with her swimsiut on and the she started going in the pond! I was confused because i know that the pond is not for swimmin! (for dogs or people) But mom siad she needed to help her dad get a few things that were at the bottom of the pond. Now the pond is man made and is not super deep mom can touch. Mom also said that at first she was going to bring me in with her so i could cool off and have some fun. But then she thought about it some more and decided it wasn't such a good idea.Because i just had a bath a few days ago and the pond water would me all stinky, and two because this morning my Lori put the flea and tick medicine on me and i can't get wet with it on. I was sad but more confused i could not figure out why mom was in there and few times i even started to whine. But then mommy got out soon and told me the news that Grandpa is coming over 2morow! AROOOO!
I CAN NOT WAIT!

An Odd Odd Day.

Today was a bit odd. Later today around 10am this odd guy pulled up in a white van. The Lori and my boy Carter put me and Murphy out on the porch. And over course i saw a squirrel and ran out of there then came back to join Murph in being mad at mom, Lori, and Carter. Then we saw a strange man holding somthing pass us and walk with the family into the kitchen look at our fridge then go in the basement! A guess he is what the people call a "repare man" he came to fix somthing with our fridge look at our stove and fix our washer which hasn't been working so Lori has been having to use the neighbor/Friend's washing machine to wash the humans close! Then after a while we were able to come in then we played with mom in the basement and i chewed on my little stuffy. Then the guy came back downstairs to get some of the tools he used. Murph & me raced up to him i barked a bit but then i liked him he said i was a handsome puppy and petted me. And of course he said murph was cute to and gave him some lovin. Then murph and me played a little while more and he went up stairs then came back down and when he did i started barking at him. (?) he thought it was funny and said "he is just doing his job" and smiled. Mom doesn't know why but i like to bark with people who wear hats! And that guy was waering a hat! But then i gave him some westie lovin, and played with murph some more and nearly ran him over! BOL! He just started laughing. He was a very nice guy.
Then about well not even a hour ago, mom brought home these weird things in a little cage with sand and alot of shells. They call the "Hermit crabs" *shrug* well mom is pet sitting at a neighbors she pets sits alot there. They have 3 cats and 2 dogs and 2 hermit crabs. Mostly she just watches the cats. Because the family goes to thier lake house almots every weekend and brings the dogs with them. (that was the lake house mom lori and grace went to last week) They normally bring the hermit crabs but forgot to. And lil gracie adores them, so mom asked if she could just bring them down to our house till sunday (when they get back) I am not sure about those little guys i got my eyes on the.

Uh Oh Bath Time.

I knew it was coming. About 2 days ago mom gave Murphy a bath outside with the hose. It was super hot out. Luckily somthing came up so no bath for me, then she forgot yesterday. Mmmm Maybe i should have gone into hiding. Oh well i don't HATE baths i dislike them but i will usually put up with them. Well mom had to take her morning shower that morning, so she decided to let me take one with her. I have taken showers with her before but never in the bath tub. But mom was a bit iffy because she was afraid i would try to jump out and well take the shower curtain with me. (BOL) Well it turned out to not be so bad. I kind of liked it, i got to be with mommy and the water felt good to! I really didn't even try escape. Mom says i smell nice and fresh now, but ot probably won't last long because it rained today but not alot but hey mud is mud :)
But i have been pretty good about that, and today i got a very good sunbath in on the patio. It felt so good! Mom said i was a shiny boy (BOL) I agree i am just so handsome ;)

Itchies

Lately my itchies have really been bothering me. Mommy has been giving me a raw egg everyother day wich usually helps but it hasn't helped so far. And this morning mom noticed that i was chewing really hard on my right paw. And she membered that last night there was a bump in that foot that had really been bothering me. And everytime i get the itchies i get bumps on my feet. So mommy checked it and it was bleeding a bit and she didn't want it to get infected so she rapped it in the white kinda fluffy stuff. Well hopeffully it will not get bad!

Skin Cousins & A Pirate Adventure. (BOL)

Well i guess i will start barking about the skin cousins first. Well 3 of my skin cousins came over at around 4pm yesterday to stay till Sunday afternoon. There is 12 year old Lucas,10 year old Parker & 8 year old Emma. And i have my skin siblings Carter 13,evan 9, and grace7. So they get along freat! They just adore me to! And i love them! You van find more information on thier first night here in Murphy'd diary.
Well now i shall bark about the pirate adventure! Well today was the start of the Westies Unite (WU) wich is a pawsome group for us westies! And well last year they started a adventure in the forums called Billy's big adventure wich they had some much fun! I never got to go but that is okay. And so about 2 weeks ago we decided we wanted to do a 2 week long pirate adventure!
But sadly our dear pal Billy who staated the big adventure and has been sick for the past few days passed away yesterday. Wich was a huge blow for us westie at WU! We thought about moving the pirate adventure to next week but we knew that Billy would want us to keep on going on our adventure! And i came up with the idea yesterday that we can find a island and name it in honor of our Buddy Billy the kid!! So we are off in search of squirrel island! (because Billy L.O.V.E.D to chase squirrels!) We started the adventure this morning! It was lots of fun! My pal attie made me a wounderful animated photo of me as a pirate! and may i just say so myself i am one handsome pirate!

My Pal Billy. May He Rest In Peace.

With a sad heart I must report that my beloved pal Billy made his way to the bridge today :(
He has been very sick lately and is daibetic. He was only 5 years old and would be 6 in October. :*(
We all really were hoping he would make it through this ruff time but now we know he is free of pain. But go we all miss him SO MUCH!!!

We have even started a photo stroll for him. 2Morow we have plained to go on a pirate adventure (we have planned it for weeks) it shall last 2 weeks. We were going to move it to next week because of Billy's sad death but we decided to go on the adventure in memory of Billy! we are even going to name a island after him! :D
God we miss him so much. He is deeply missed. And every time we visit his page we can not believe he is gone.

Well today after mom woke up Lori and the 2 younger skin siblings went off to summer care and i finnished my breakfast i found the little stuffed animal Kangaroo i had palyed with the day before. I ran up to it and jumped and grabbed and ran to mom! She said the magic question "what do you have!?" And i ran through her legs! And it was alot of fun! And i also played keep away from Murphy! After a little while i got tired of the kangaroo. So mom and us headed down stairs. And she laid on the fluffy black game chair and turned on animal planet. After playing some more with Murphy i sat by her and looked at the TV. It was a adoption show (a older episode) About a greyhound finding a home, mom had seen it a few times but liked it. I was watxhing the TV when all of a sudden the dogs started running and i cocked my head!!
Then one dog barked and i cocked my head the other way! Mom says i am such a cute westie boy :D
It was a great day and I actually slept alot. Then after dinner and around 7pm+ Mom had to go up to the neighbors house and water thier plants while they are away. Since they have a big garden and bunches of plants like us mom knew it was going to take a little while! So she brought me! It was fun! Alot of new sights ans smells! And the had a great patio to have a sun bath!

A froggy Named Free.

Well about 2 weeks + ago Lori & my little skin brother Evan were at a petco and looking at the feeder fish when they saw a tadpole with only one arm and laying on its back. They thought it was dead but it was still moving around and hada heart beat. The lady that was working there was going to throw away the little guy even though it was still alive :!O
But my mom talked to her and the lady put the tadpole in a bag full of water and wrote "free" on it. They took it home and out it in a fish bowl were they put a small water pump in there to help it breath better, they also use the pump for thier sick pond fish. They named they frog FREE.
Within a few days the tadpole was doing better but still could only swim on its back and do the back stroke to move around.
A couple more days and he is arm grew back! A week later and he was loosing his tale. Before we knew it little tadpole free was a little strong frog. He was a shy boy he loves to hide under the rocks in his bowl. He swims fine now that he is a frog and has 2 arms!
Since Free is strong and healthy mom says that we have to let him go because he would die because he didn't have all the tings he needs and can get in the wild. So today July,22,07 we got Free and let him go on a the side on our pond were there is a small amount of water some rocks to hide under and some brush to hide in. Mom was sad because the wittle froggy really touched her heart but so happy he was finnally F.R.E.E!! :D
Even though he is a froggy and not a dog mum wanted me to write this in his noro such a amazing story for a wittle frog! We made a petster page for him but are a bit made because it won't let us post his entire story!!!!!

Well a couple of days ago my pal Hershey got the package i sent her!
See Hershey is one of my best pals and is my bestes gal pal! See almost a year ago i was strolling along the new pals who had joined dogster (It was actually August of 06)
When i cam across a cute little Cavi named Hershey. I sent her a PPR and went on with my stroll. A couple days later she sent me a p-mail! And then there was a gap------and one day i checked my pup-mail and she had p-mailed me again! Then after that barked back to each other all the time. Then Hershey got dogster plus so i got to see more photos of her! Then the day happened were we had become such great pals we decided to be pen pals! We send each other goodies all the time! But about a week ago when i went to petco to get my shots, we came across a pawsome pink doggy t-shirt that said "princess" on it! Mom & me knew right away we had to get it for Herhsey! She loves pink and she is my little princess pal =D
But also i had to send the card i got her in May! Because she got a little Yorkie sister named Shilo, back in may and i had bought her a card but had been so busy! But Mom & me signed the card, and put it in the big envelope with the pink T-shirt and a cute little doggy treat in the shape of a mail man for Hersh's new cute wittle sister Shilo. Hersh was so happy when i told her that i sent them a present! And she p-mailed me the other day syaing how much she loves the goodies :D She also said she would send me a photo of her in the new T-shirt, and Shilo & Her would send me a bunch of goodies! YEAH! =-)
And next month Shilo gets to join dogster because she turns 6 months old!And i am going to give her a big pink rosette!;)
Well i will probably write about Hersh and my other pals many times but i just wanted to put this story in.

A night with that Harley Dog.

Well after i got done writing my last diary entry, i was a sleepy boy and went upstairs on the couch and took a snooze! Then i had to moove to mom's room and murphy and that harley dog came to! It was a good night! And that harley isn't half bad. His mom ppicked up this afternoon and said we might beable to have another sleepover again some day soon! :D

Whois this??

Mommy has been telling me about this dog named Harley since August of LAST YEAR! I have smelled him on her and i have met him before but it was only a sniff then go kindathing.She said that the pup is a therapy dog at her school. She loves harley but do not worry she loves me very much to :)
And she has missed him because the last time she saw him was back in May.
But his mommy dropped him off at our house today! Mom said that his mom was going some were and couldnot bring Harley so he gets to sleepover!
I didn't really like him at first. I growled and snapped a few times. But after a while i put up with him. But he is a cutie & is a friendly doggy.
We took a couple naps and sniffed around in the backyard mommy wished we would play with each other but we didn't but that was okay as long as we got along. Then we went on a walk! That was fun!
Finally it was later and mom and the wittle skin sister made us a party in the basement! They put alot of pillows and toys and had the TV on and had a bunch of blankets around. It was a fun time. I am still not really sure about that "Harley" Though.

Vet Man

Yes I had to go to the vetman today. The one at Petco because he has half price shots. We were ceond in line and had to wait a while but that was okay. And the entire time there i well peed on the shelves 2 times *Blush* hehehe.
I made alot of new pup pals there. I even made pals with a white scottie! And a golden chow mix dog! After waiting for a while it was murphs turn then mine! :( It was a new vet man but he was very nice. I only go to the petco half price vet for my shots i go to my normal vet for everything else. But i didn't like when he took my blood! It didn't feel good at all! Then he gave me a bunch of shots! Then it was over! yeah! But while Lori got some crickets for the frogs mom walked us around while we waited for the test results of the heartworm test. After ten minutes we got some great news! No heart worms for either of us! :D WOOHOO!
Finnaly it was time to go, it was fun being there but after being there for a hour we were very sleepy. When we got home mommy gave me & Murph a each a big juicy busy bone to chew on since we were such good puppers!
Well now i am very sleepy after all the fun and the yummy bone!

1)I love to sunbathe. Well especially when I am cold. I sunbathe on the patio when I am to cold inside, andif it is cold outside i sunbathe on the porch or in the living room.

2)Sleep.Sleep.Sleep. I love to sleep. But since i am a terrier i don't do that to much! I like to sleep on mom's head at night! She isn't a big fan of it but i sneak up there. HEHEHEH. I also like to sleep in the living room, in the bathroom and in the basement.

3)I like to hunt flies! Especially those big old Juicy ones! Mom thinks it is gross but helpfull at the same time. Somtimes i will just be sleeping then just start snapping at the sky!

The Fourth of July!

Well today is the fourth of July, and it is all right. Grandpa came over though! Around three PM! I was so happy and i got to play fetch with him to! But mom and the rest of the family made there way to the neighbor's house because they were having some friends over and BQ! But they had to grill in the garage because it was still raining. A couple of hours later Grandpa left, and the neighborhood kids, and my family started doing some fireworks. I used to not be really afraid of them, but ever since New years were dad did some really loud fire crackers close to the house i have been just horrifide by them. So after they did some very loud ones, mom came in to find me on the couch shaking and whining and panting like mad. She hugged me told me how handsome i was:)
Then she went back out for a while. Then came back in because she felt sry for her baby.So since we have a big front window she put me on her lap, and sat by the window and watched some of the smaller fire works. And mom even brought me & murph back some chicken from the party! YEAH! It was very YUMMY! But i ate most of it and hardly left any for Murph. BOL!
But today has also been rainy! And some thunder! Which i hate! But i hated the fireworks more then the thunder. Well the crew cleaned up and headed inside the friends house to hang out for a while before mom & family, and friends go to the big fireworks out at Lori's work. Mom decided to come her and watcha bit of TV and go on the computer because that is the only way i will stay calm and actually take a nap!
Well happy fourth to all!!

A day out on the town.

This morning was pretty boring, mostly i just slept all morning long. But then around 3:00pm My Lori came home! I was so happy! I had had a nice time sleeping with mommy and Murphy but i really wanted to do somthing! So mommy told me that we were going to the Wild bird store! I had now idea what she ment so i just kept sleeping. Then she said those magic words......... "wana go for a ride?"I sprang off the couch and mom opened the door then i jumped into the van. And waited till Lori & Mom got in the car.
And mom strapped on my Greg Biffle Leash and we headed off!
Up in corinth square are bunches of little shops! And since Lori needed a new bird feeder we were off to the Wild bird store.I have never been there before so i could not wait! I went in and there were so many smells! It a small shop, but very pawsome! We walked by this little red birdie that every time i passed by it,it would chirp and move but it smeeled wierd and really freaked me out. I cocked my head and gave a little woof. Mom started laughing and told me it was only "plastic" So we moved on. The man at the counter even gave me a doggy biscuit! And all the people that worked there were so nice! Even though there were just three but still! I sniffed around at some of the squirrel & bird food, and i made alot of new hooman furiends! Then after a while we had to say goodbey. But lori loaded the bird seed into the car, mom and me went off to to meet her at another store close by, i wanted to stop by Mely's ice cream palor but mom said not today. :(
But We stopped at the hardware store so Loro could look at a few things, but i didn't get to go in there because mum said we didn't need to.
Then we stopped by land of paws! Which is a fancy pet store and aplace were they sell very well bred dogs, this is also were my grandpa got me! I even got to see a little westie pup there! She was so cute! The it was time to go pick up the kids from thier summer care! Then i went home and slept! Then about a hour later i played with mom, lori, all the furless, and mom! It was a pawsome day!

One year on dogster!

Wow i can't believe it! One year ago today mom found dogster and made me page! She actually didn't get pictures on my page till about a week later but thats okay! BOL! Mum found dogster while she at her younger cousin's house (Britt) Britt loves me, oh sry back to the story well any way Mom and Britt were on the puter and were looking at dog photos when they came across a photo contest, the worlds collest cat & dog photo contest (the first one) Since it is hosted by dogster they soon found themselves on dogster. So she made me a page that night. Soon after she loaded photos on it she started getting e-mails aying that i got pup pal requests and that i was invited to a group calle wesite unite! I remeber how happy i would get looking at my page and seeing that some one had left me a bone! It just made my day!Now i have a thousand plus friend lots of bones and so many sweethearts have givin me rosettes & stars!
Well i p-mailed some of my furiends telling them how they made this year pawsome! I couldn't get to all of them but i love them all!
Oooh and i even got to have a anniversery party! Mom and the little 7 year old human sister (Grace) brought me & Murphy down to our finnished basement little hooman sister made me a paper hat but it kept falling off so she just let me tare it up! ( i love to tare up paper!) Then mum made me (and murphy to) a special treat some egg yoke, with a tiny bit of vanilla ice cream on top, one sliced carrot, a sprinkle of cheese, a bit of some ground up beef, and a dental doggy treat on top!! IT WAS VERY YUMMY!
Now i am taking a big nap! Then mum says we get to go on a walk! If it stops raining!
Well i just wana thank Dogster HQ for making this website!

Darm VERMON!

Those darn Squirrels & chipmuncks aare on the top of my list! Well because i see more of them then anyother vermon! (BOL)
But yesterday a little chipmunk came onto our porch (mum had left the screen door open) She didn't notice it so she let me outside because i was having a fit I almost got it!! Mom was yelling at me the entire time to stop though! I finnaly reached out and bit it but i only got a bit of fur!
And today a squirrel was on the back screened in porch but it was way to fast for me! I can not wait till i catch one!

Puppy Cones!

Well yesterday was lots of fun!
Not only was it fathers day, but our neighbor and good friend Maryland (aka "Aunt" Maryland to the human kids) Well she told Mom about how the local outdoor icecream place gave away free little "puppy cones" wich are small vanilla ice cream cones. And since it was fathers day later that night mom and the entire family got into the car then we saw Elvis & Maryland, "aunt" Maryland's puppers. Well it turned out Maryland (the human BOL) and her pups and her husband we heading to the same place because the next day (today) they were leaving for Sanfran. for a week (mom gets to pet-sit the pooches while they are gone) Because thier dogs Love puppy cones! Especially Mary! She is a ice cream adict! When we were there i got my very first puppy cone! Mommy thought i would eat it a ll in one bite but i didn't. Since it was my first time i didn't though, i didn't even know that you were supposed to eat the cone! (BOL) It was alot of fun!

A PERFECT DAY!

Dear Diary,
Today was a pawsome day, mom slept in so of course i had to snuggle with her! And i did! :)
Then we ate breakfast i chase squirrels the usual weekend morning.Mom & her mum had to go to the flower nursery, and to the drug store to pick up some stuff.Well even though "my" Lori (mum's mom) didn't want us pooches to come we did any way. As soon as mom opened the door garage door me & murph shot out and went into the car like "come on lets go!"
So lori gave in and got our leashes. first they stopped at the drug store we had to stay in the car, i was not happy. But it was not very hot mom left the windows cracked some, and they were not in there more then 10 minutes so do not worry my pawrents would never leave us in any danger.
Then we were off to the little plant place! Which was right next to a little pet clinic. We had fun because it was a very friendly place and we sniffed outside and inside! Then i saw a chipmunk in the greenhouse so i pulled the Greg Biffle ( # 16 nascar racer) leash out of her hand and sped off after that little pest! So i tor across the entire little place under table, behind plants, through legs, and everywere else. Mom caught me before i ran out the door which was a good thing because there is a very busy street right next to the shop. I ran after the dang chipmunks 2 other times before we left, it was much fun.
Well now i am very tired.

Fun In The Sun

Well first i have to bark about yesterday, for i was so tired after all the fun i took a long nap insted of writing in the diary oops!
Well yesterday, Monday i went for a very long walk with mum & murph and after she gave me a bath it actually felt good! And now i smell nice!!
And today i went on a really really long walk and it was so much fun!
And i got to play with my nieghbor furiends to Elvis & Maryland the pupper dogs.

The Bald Days Of Summer!?!

Diary,you will never believe what happened to me today?!
Well after this strange dog was that came to visit went home i hung around mommy and "my" Lori and followed them around the house. Then mommy and Lori got out the clippers. But these were not like the normal clippers they were bigger and they were new! See about a year maybe two years ago Lori was fed up with paying 30$ for a not always good haircut for both me & Murph. So she went out to petco and bought a pack thing with clippers instrucions and some other grooming stuff. But as Lori got better at it she needed better clippers that will make the hjaircuts come out better and so it can stand our ruff fur!!
Well she had been wanting new clippers since December! But some things came up and she wanted to do some reaserch to, so to make sure that her money would be going to a good deal. She ordered the clippers and Back in April but do to back order they didn't come for a while then we had to wait for the the comes to the clipper which took a couple of weeks! Now i have been needing a haircut since well Janurary! BOL!
Mom has been brushing me and clipping me down a tiny bit and getting red of the matts, but Lori said i was the one who needed the haircut badly! Because my hair was all crazy and pretty long. Now my hair is super short but actually it is kind of a good look for me! Mom says a bath is next on the list! OH NO!
Well i guess it is the bald days of summer! BOL!

3) SMILIN! thats me! i wuff to smile. i almost always have a smile on my face. Somtimes it is a huge smile with my tounge stiking out but alot of time it is just my lips grining mom says she has never seen a dog smile the way i do! That is why she calls me wind dixie dog!

4)I love almost every food you can through at me. Really through it at me i am very good at catching food to! :)

6) I was born with a defect in my feet. My pawrents found this out in march of this year when i hurt my paw for the second time. First time i have a infected wound between my toes, second time i pulled a tenden chasing squirrels. The defect is my feet are straight together while most dogs feet (and kinda toes to) are spred out. that is why my feet look so small.

7)I am a little garden buddy. I like to help mom in the garden i will keep the chipmunks away and be with her whiole she plants pertty flowers.

Grrrrreat Day

Dear Diary,
WHOA what a pawsome day!
It all began this morning when i escaped from under the backyard fence daddy david was getting into his truck and i scurried into the front yard then i smelt somthing strange. I sniffled and then i found the TREASURE!
A dead BUNNY!!!!! I picked it up and hedded toward the garage door, when daddy saw me. He ran up to me and saw the bunny "that i caught!" (BOL) And he got a plastic bag and threw it away! Then he told mommy i thought she would be proud of me, but she just threw away her breakfast and made a funny noise! Cha.....i was pretty proud myself *sigh* hoomans are so hard to please these days!
Mommy then had to clean my mouth with these weird tasting wipes! YUCK!
Then mommy and furmily got ready fur the day, then right before they left mommy gave murphy a busy bone because she said he was cute! :()
But then she gave me a busy bone (with extra dental stuff) to clean my teath from the rabbit yuck, i strutted around all day because i was the all mighty rabbit hunter i had a huge smile on my face!
SO MUCH FUN!
TODAY WAS PAWSOME.
But i did find some bad news my good pal zeke crossed the bridge today!

Fun fun WEEKEND!

Woof-woof!
Well my very fun weekend started friday night, mommy abby was playing with luke when her mommy (AKA "MY LORI" bol) called her and said that we were going on a walk! Murphy of course came along to! and mama's 6 year old litle sister gracie tagged along as we walked around the block! Just me Murph & the girls! I had not been on a walk in a while so it was very fun! and guess what? at the start of the walk i found a dead bunny but Lori didn't even let me sniff it, then i found a dead squirrel by the side of the road Lori didn't let me have that one either! Well on our walk there were lots of dogs on the street and we say lots of rabbits herds of squirrels and even a couple of cats one even came up to me but again i could not get to the thing because of that darn leash! But the walk was so much fun and when we got home i flopped down on the floor and slepped for hours!

SATURDAY-
Well first David (mama Abby's dad) came home around 10:00am to check on my mum and her siblings and he brought us a suprise well at least the hooman kids a suprise it was a TURTLE! mommy named it Brian (BOL) Mr, Brian Turtle hehehe! Well daddy found it out at his work place Brian had been attcked by a dog he had all kinds of marks and bite marks on he shell! Poor turtle. David has brought turtles home before but Brian was special, plus the last turtle tried to bight me & murph but Brian is nice!
Brian is still here (sunday) but since he is a wild animal and he has really wanted to go outside we will let this little box turtle go in a few hours. He will like it our big backyard has a pond he can drink out of and bunches of plants! Oh yeah mommy got me and murphy nummy doggy treats from a doggy bakery to!

SUNDAY-
Happy mama's day!!! I Snuggled with mom alot but i gave her mom Lori (aka mommy lori) lots and lots of lovin! ooh and i even got to shred up wrapping paper from mama lori's presents! I love to shred up paper and it is a special treat to be able to shred up wrapping paper i just had a ball! oh and mom gave me this yummy bone/treat! Well since i had such a fun weekend i am a sleepy boy.

My weekend! (FUN FUN & MORE FUN!)

WOW! Well my weekend mostly started on thursday beacsue my lori started her 3 day garage sale that day, but mommy was at school so me & murph had to stay inside all day!
Same with friedy, but staurday mom was home with Lori so i was able to stay outside and great the people. I am very good at that i just sit there and smile and wlecome the nice people. One lady even gave me a doggy treat! YUM!
And in the afternoon we had a special guest come....MY GRANDPA!!!
He stayed fur a while, and i had not seen him in furever! So i was very happy and yappy!
And mommy gave me a bath Sunday, it was very nice outside so she gave me a bath with the hose. Man i was so dirty you would have thought i was a cairne terrier! BOL!
But now i am feeling good & looking good!

Ziggyrific!!!!

Guess what came just a few days ago??
My package from my new friend Ziggy.
See i get mail from my best pal hershey all the time.
But when i hurt my paw my westie bud Ziggy wanted to send me a single chew bone. I just thought that was SO SWEET!
Well my paw is still tender but doing much better, but the one odd thing is i have been a bit grumpy ever since the foot thing happened.
Well back on Ziggy, well when it came i found out i got more then a bone.
He sent me a pawsome card!, the chew bone, doggy yogurt treats, other doggy treats, a pawsome fuzzy orange bone toy (that i LOVE), and the most kindest thing he even sent somthing for my mama he & his mu don't even know my mummy!, but they sent her chocolate! YUM!
How sweet? Well my treats are grrrrreat!, my bone is always in my mouth, and my toy is never far from me!!!

Dear diary!!,
Guess what? after a week with my Girly cast i am finnaly free, free as the wind blows! (BOL!)
Well for those pups that did not know about a week ago i pulled a tenden on one of my wittle paws :(
it hurt very bad and on top of that the meds. i had to take made me a sick little boy. But i went to the vet man today and got the A-okay!
I still have to take my meds. for a while though but i don't care they taste nummy in my tummy!
i would like to thank everysingle one of my friends for thier support!
I would like to thank muffin, pippin, the love bug, meg..........and of course every other doggy i did not mention but sent me a pmail, or gave me prayers & love, or even gave me a rosette or star!!!
One of the sweetest pups through this hard time was my best friend hershey!
we have been friends for a while but guess what she did?
Even though it was getting very close to her barkday she went out and bought me a cool toy & some yummy treats, and even a very cute card!
(wich had a pawsome dogster sticker! aroo to hersh!) I got in the mail a few days ago! WELL THANK YOU TO EVERY ONE IAM SO GREATFULL I HAVE GREAT PALS LIKE YOU!
