Friday Fun

Hey pals, sorry I haven't barked in a while!! Last Friday I had a lot of fun, the Abbygirl took a bunch of photos of me and then we went to Petco!! It was so much fun and I sniffed and sniffed. Oh and then there was the hamsters! I sat and watched them while the Abbgirl looked at something and then they did this funny thing where they would chase each other around the tank, or come up to the window!! Then I would stand up on my 2 legs and walk up to the hammy-sters try and sniff them but then they would run away. They are no fun. And then I picked out my new toy, I fluffy AKC squirrel toy! I really loved Joshy's and this one is even cooler and is a bit more my size. I got home ate a little bit and then soaked up some sun. And of coursed played a bunch. And then mama came and got me! Eeeeh! I was so happy the Abbgirl was afraid I was going to pee all over the floor! BOL. Also some good & bad news, mama didn't wind Kansas counselor of the year but she did win North East Counselor Of The Year!!! Which is still a really cool thing!!

No maids are going to steal me! (BOL)

Howdy pals!! Life has been good here actually mom went out of town with grandma on Wednesday morning and is coming home late tomorrow night. They are going because mom & me where finalists in Kansas Counselor Of The Year!! They would have taken me but Grammy was afraid one of the maids would steal me because I would spend a lot of time in the hotel room. So I went over to the Abbygirl's house, grandma was a little bit worried she asked mom all these questions about them to make sure I would be OK. BOL. Silly grammy, of course I will be fine! I love the Abby girl's house. And I have actually been getting along with Murphy & Josh! Normally I am very uptight and look for mama, and start shaking for a while. But this time I walked in sniffed the boys and my self at home. We have had bunches of fun!!! I miss my mommy but I love hanging out with the Abbygirl and "da boys".

WOOOHOOOOO!

WE DID IT! Mom just found out that we are one of the six finalists for Kansas counselor of the year!! WOOHOO! Mom is going to a special convention in March, were she will find out if she won. Right now she is seeing if the hotel she will be staying at allows pups, I hope so. I mean I like staying at the Abbygirl's house but I live for my mom and it just wouldn't be the same without her. Sigh.
Well thanks for all the barkday wishes and even the vongrats all you pups gave me when I found out me and mom were nominated! Lub you guys!

Me & My Mama Could Be Kansas Counselor(s) Of The Year!

Hey pals! Long time no bark! I have been meaning to write but kept forgetting. The school year has been going well, but mama says I am becoming quite the chubby Har Bar. Hehehe. Because I have been getting all of my normal treats but unlike last year and the year before I have had regular walkers.For the past two years I have had my "walker girl Velma". Every morning she walked me for about 20minutes or so. But she went to a silly place called "High school" this year!! And my best buddies Abbygirl (she helps me type on dogster) and her brofur Carterguy I haven't seen here on a regular basis in a while! So when I need a walk and mom can't take me I just walk myself down the halls, my leash draggin behind me. I know sad. But some good news is I got a new doggie couch for "my office!" Mom saw it in a store and had to get it, I love it! Grandma(I looooooooove my grammy!) even made cute little pillows, they are out of the same fabric she made the seat of my mom's new chairs out of and her new curtains so now we are very very stylish. Well any who I need to bark about the title of this entry! Yep on September 16th mom found out she (and of course myself also!) was nominated to be Kansas Counselor of the year! Which is a big big honor!!! Well we had to have to letters of recomendation one from somepup who is friends of ours and also had their kids go to school here at one point, and mama's boss had to do a letter also. They are all sent in now so we just have to wait and see! We are so excited! A big thank you to all of our pals, especially those who barked in my forum post about this. I even got a star from cutie pie dogsters Scooter & his sister Bretta.

Schools out.....

Is it over yet? Is it August now? No!? Darn. Well as of the 29th I am "out of a job" you could say. The 29th was the last day of school, though me and my mommy have had to stay in the office for a few days after like every year. The day after the kids were let out me and mum came to school like any regular day. But I waited for my morning walker (a sweet student who walks me every single morning and brings me to my rounds), and I waited and I waited! After about an hour I soon realized that there were no kids here! After a few more days it finally sunk in it was summer time. Sigh.
I miss my lunch ladies. I miss my teachers. I miss my kids. I miss my Abby & Carter. Abby & Carter are some of my favorites, they are like a second family to me, I go over to their house and spend the night or just come over for a play date. But next year they will be in high school and for the first time in two years I won't have them with me almost every single day of the school year.But on the last day they gave me and mom some wonderful gifts to remember them by over the summer-even though we will see them a few times-. I got a new latex toy! WOOHOO! Those are my favorites, especially the ones that squeak and have a tongue that sticks out when you squeeze them. And this was a tiger that did just that! Mom pulled it out of the basket and I went after it immediately and played with it like a mad pup. I also got some fancy treats,some "pupcorn" (which is actually popcorn made for dogs!),a funny book called "You now you dog owns you if...", a little black paw charm for my collar, Poopy bags which are little bags that come in a little bag that hooks to my leash and you use the bags to pick up my droppings when I poo. Mom also got a little cute gift and a pertty flower!
Well I am off for my late afternoon nap! Bark at you all later.

First Night

Today err I mean tonight is the first night of my 2 night 3 day sleepover at Murphy and Josh's h0use. Tomorow very early morning mom will hit the road for the counselar convention she is going to in Topeka till Friday. But I am doing pretty okay we talked this through(Mom planned this back in Jan. with Abby) so I wasn't in shock when Abs took me home after school. I walked w/ mom Abs and Carter to Mrs.T''s room (all last name will not be mentioned for obvious reasons) I will be in there during the school hours of the day.Abby has taken my photo many times I have played and ate and YAWN I think it is time to hit the hay!

A Afternoon At Josh & Murphy's House!

I went over to Abby's (Murph+josh's mum) house today straight after school.Mommy had a meeting after school and had to go to a apt. that was about a hour away and took a hour. I was pretty nervouse on the ride there and for about the first hour, even though i have been there several times. And alos even though it was nsowing and freezing i loved their backyard and stayed the longest out in the freezing cold. I got my photo taken,played,slept,and had a gooooooooood time! Mommy picked me up around 8pm and I was sooo happy to see her I almost made a wittle puddle! Well I am ready for bed, so mummy turn on the fan & TV! I have had a long day!

Some Happy News And Some Very Sad News.

Well first the happy news, on Wednesday my mom has to go some place right after school so I get to go to Abby's house! Till about 8pm, I get to go right after school eat with them play with Joshy & Murph and have a pawsome time!
Now the very sorrow filled news. On 1/10/08 one of the nicest people ever Mr.Bill W (last name not shown for privacy reasons of course) passed away. He was our head Janitor, and even though he only held that job for a good couple of months he dug his way into all of our hearts.He was such a sweet nice man! Always had a nice thing to say, always had a smile on his face. The teachers and many students (including a very sad Abbygirl) are a bit heartbroken. He will never be forgotten. And many shih-tzu kisses to his family may He Rest.In.Peace!

WOOOHOO! I HAD A SUPER DUPER BARKDAY! WOOT!

First of all sorry for my barkday report being a bit late, just been very busy.Well I had a PAWSOME barkday!(1/9/08) I had to come to school a bit later because mummy had to go some place, But Abby had to talk to mommy later on in the afternoon and she saw me and and my handsome barkday bandana that reads "Birthday Dog". Hehehe.She chatted with mom for a bit and I even saw some water coming out of her eyes (she has been going through some sad stuff lately).But I nuzzled over to her and then back to my bed and chewed on my special yummy doggy treat from the pup bakery at the land of paws!Abs was also able to take me on a short wittle walk before she had to scatdoodle.But then at the end of the day she sooped by "my" office and grabbed my leash like almost every day and trotted off behind her to see Carter and go to her locker.She took some barkday photos of me but she has to just get around to loading them! BOL. She even showed me my present, but I couldn't open it till I got back to mommy and she was off the phone.I got a adorable b-day card (that was for my mommy who's bday was on the 6th and for my birthday of course) A HUGE bag of doggy treats! Petco pup treats, homemade treats, packaged treats, milk bones all that good stuff! And a meaty chew! (They are like bully sticks but a bit softer) And a nice fresh clean tennis ball, my favorite kind of tennis ball! I also got more goodies from mummy and from Grandpaw & Grandmaw! All In all I had a super duper pawsome barkday! And all of the paw-mails,posts, and rosettes (and special gifts) given to me by my beloved dogster pals, made my birthday even more extra special! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I couldn't have asked for a better 6th barkday!

How many more days?

Just a little bit and It will soon be my birthday! My birthday is Wednesday by the way ;) I will be the big S.I.X! I cannot wait. I had the bestest birthday last year, I got over 20 rosettes from my pals! Some great prezzies from my mommy and grandpawrents.And some pawsome presents from The Abby Girl (Murphy & Josh's mum) & her brudder Carter, they got me a chewy stick (it was kind of like a bully stick but softe) some treats a card a toy and some extra lovin!

I got a rosette from Cesar Millan's Dog Daddy!

Today at checking my page I found I got a pawsome woofmas rosette from the one and only Daddy! Who is Daddy? you may ask! Well he is Cesar Millan's "head dog"! WOOT! Daddy picked me out of everywoof in my family to give a rosette too! Thank you Daddy, you make me feel so special!

What a week!

Sorry I have not barked in a while but I thought i would sum up a crazy week!Tuesday Abby during six hour well was working in the library with the book fair (it was her study hall period she was helping with her pal Sarah). There was about 7-8 minutes left when out of no were the fire alarm went off! Since the office is right across from the library while walkign out with Sarah to the front of the buidling with a good amount of other people. She was the "desk lady" (BOL thats what i call her hehehe!) coming out from the office and since my mom was somewere around the building she was guiding me out the building. The "desk lady" ;) knowing Abs asked if She could take me because she is my #1 fan! (BOL) Of course Ab said YES! And scooped me up in her skiny arms to make sure i wouldn't get ran over by the stampeed of teenagers and teachers. Sarah was happy to be the leash holder BOL. And another suprise was on our plate. It was fairly warm out, no chill ran down our backs just the sun our faces.After it was safe to come inside (the entire thing was just a drill) Abby brought me to the library but i got to stay there two minutes because Sux hour was over as soon as we stepped back into the library. Abby gace a ear scratch and dropped me back into mom's office.The next day at the start of eigth hour Abby talked with mom, about a loss of a great friend (Abs was very heartbroken over the loss of the beloved family friend but she is feeling much better)
It started to spit snow Wednesday but the big stuff came Thursday! We might not even have school Monday because it is supposed to snow alot!
Well all of this talk is making me tired!

Guess who came to school today? The Drug sniffing pups!

Today somthing pawsome happened at the school around third hour at the school we had a lock down. Wich is were the teachers still teach and do what they were doing but they lock the doors. So no one can get in or out. Normally it is just a drill, But today was not. We had the drug sniffing dogs come in! I didn't get to meet them nose to nose but mom saw them and told me about them (Abby also wishes she could have seen them in action) Well I Think there was two of them GSDS! (WOOT!)
And they came last year around this time, to just to go through the locks just in case. The kids aren't allowed out of the classrooms because-
One:The dogs need to focus and wild teenagers don't always help that! (BOL)
Two:Many of the kids are afraid of big dogs.
Three: for the safety of them (not that the GSDS Would attack or anythin oh no GSDS are wonderful dogs!!)
After they left at the end of third hour i could hear them through the halls and i gave a little woof to make sure I was the king of this school!!
Later that day when i made my rounds around the school and in the
court-yard/front-yard i smelt them! And i sniffed and sniffed like crazy!!
I marked every were in the yards but not in the school no matter how much i wanted to! (BOL)

What a week.

What a crazy school week it was! First of all since the long weekend school started Tuesday! And that started spirit week, Tuesday was pajama day!When i saw Abby in her Pajamas And doggy slippers I just could not stop sniffing those slippers. Then around six hour that day mommy had told Abby to meet her in her office because she has to talk to all of the 8th graders about stuff, and she needed to talk to Abby anyway. I so suprised to see Abby at that time of day because i normally just see her at the start of school and at the end. She sat down and again i went crazy sniffin her slippers then she moved her foot and i leaped ontop of her slipper and started chewing it mom and Abby just started laughing! Then mom made me stop because i starting the wreck the slipper. So i just took my favorite stuffie and puoted in the corner while the humans talked. Then before Abby left mama asked her if she could take me out for a quick potty break before it started to rain. So she grabbed my leash and we went out to the front were it was already raining and for once I didn't care i had to pee!!! And when we went out there i tried to pull Abby into the mud because i saw a squirrel i was so close but Abby wouldn't let me get it! No fair! Abby stood under the platform thingy and I did my duty in the rain. And Abby dropped me off in "my" office and was off to her clase. I have also liked this week because since mommy is talking to all of the 8th graders i get to see more kids! WOOHOO!!
Well Wednesday was SuperHero day or Favorite cartoon charector day, Thursday was Mitch mach day (Were you wear tacky clothes) And Friday wazs wear Green and White day (the school colors)

Back On Sept.25.....

Well mom had alot of confrences that night and had to stay till nine at night, and could not bring me home, feed me, or let me go potty. So she talked to my pawsome gal Abby and then she ran out to her car then ran back inside to "my" office. Grabbed my leash said a few other hum words to mom and we were off! I remeber going to thier house in the summer but i was a bit confused! I hoped in thier car were i was greeted by Abby's mom and two younger faces and Carter! Then i was sniffed up and down by Murphy and Josh. When we finally got to thier house i was hugged kisses and goooooooo gaaaaad over by a few younger girls in the culd-e-sac. After finally taking a nap while carter did some homeowork, (i slept ontop of his books BOL!) Then i played a bit with the humans took a few more naps did this and that! The humans ate dinner watched TV and took some photos of me! And before mom came they even gave me a pawsome adorable bandana wich mommy loves! It was a great day!

Shih-Tzus Rule Dogster!

Wowzas today Shih-Tzus rule dogster! No the breed of the wekk is not shih tzus, no the diary of the day pup is not a shih tzu. But The dog of the week Racal is a fellow shih-tzu and lots of fun! Then todays DOTD (Dog of the day) is Molly a adorable Shih-Tzu Girl!
