Chewing on our dirty socks, chewing on things that are sqeaky, licking people's faces, chasing anything that moves, including golf balls, leaves, butterflies, frogs, and any other creepy-crawlies.
Pet-Peeves:
Getting her nails clipped! It's soooooooooo terrible! Also, us taking away things she shouldn't be chewing, cats having the nerve to walk across our lawn, and people with very deep voices!
Favorite Toy:
What isn't is the better question. Anything that is chewable or bouncy. She also likes to steal our shoes, clothes, and towels for chewing on...
Favorite Food:
Greenies, and scrambled eggs!
Favorite Walk:
A local elementary school, with playgrounds and wide open baseball fields to run in.
Best Tricks:
"Better go now!" is rather helpful (it makes her pee on command!), and her "Dance" is really cute too! (she stands on her hind legs!)
Arrival Story:
We finally moved into a house, and had wanted a dog for so long! We both adored the character and size of Dachshunds, and when we met Putter at the breeder's, we couldn't say no! She loved us from the start, and just wanted to crawl into our laps and lick our faces (which she still does to everyone she meets). We just love her!
Bio:
Putter will be a big sister!! Her "mother" (me) is expecting her first child in August 2006. Oooooh... competition for attention...

Well, Putter-pup just had her first photoshoot this past weekend. Huzzah! Phil took our portraits out at Hallmark, and Putter was a "model". Outside of a 5 minute stint of "liberation" (running though studios and auditoriums being chased by 5 photo students), Putter was more or less traumatized by the whole process! She wouldn't even PEE there; she insisted on holding it till we got home.
