Arrival Story: Wanted a Ridgeback for a while. Originally was going to take the pick of the litter- but I really wasnt comfortable with the idea of having to show in conformation, so instead I passed and was going to wait for her next litter since I think everyone else was spoken for by the time I made up my mind. A few weeks later, the breeder told me that there was 1 puppy left that was now 11 weeks old but the guy who had dibs on her never came to pick her up and if I still wanted a puppy I could come see her. Needless to say, I went up and saw her and took her home with me. Shes was borderline pet/show, but I was able to get out of a show contract. Shes still got full registration if I wanted to though.
