Oh, the life of a Jedi Master Voof!
Welcome Home Jack!October 12th 2006 5:53 am[ Leave A Comment ] Arrrrooooooo! I just wanna send a barking big welcome out to my new pal Jack! He just got to go home with his new family, who has been waiting (impatiently at times) for him to be ready to leave his mommy. I'm sure we'll see great things from this little pup.... maybe space travel, discovering the secret to world peace, giving a really great sloppy kiss... who knows! Welcome Jack!
Goodbye my palJuly 5th 2006 9:17 pm[ Leave A Comment ] I was very sad to learn today that my buddy, Jake, has crossed the rainbow bridge to be with his sister, Murphy. I am very glad that his mommy and daddy had three special months to spend with him after his spleen operation. He was loved lots, pampered lots, and cherished lots. We will all miss him terribly. Now we will have one awesome guardian angel looking out for us!
Sad news today...June 26th 2006 5:19 pm[ Leave A Comment ] Today I got some very sad news from my good pal Jake. It seems that his surgery to remove the cancer from his spleen was unsuccessful, and now it has spread to his heart. It made my mommy and me very sad to hear the news, but we both know that his mommy will be taking extra special care of him and giving him lots of love and treats. My thoughts and barks go out to him and his family. We luv ya, Jake!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!June 21st 2006 8:46 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
OH THE HUMANITY!!!!! OH THE DESPAIR!!!!! MY POOR BASEBALL!!!!!!! I HAVE ONLY HAD IT ONE HOUR AND IT IS RUINED! ALL OF THE LEATHER HAS BEEN PEELED OFF AND ALL THAT REMAINS IS THE WITHERED CORE! BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN TO CHEW AND PEEL AND THE GLUE WAS AWFULLY YUMMY! I GUESS I MUST SETTLE FOR THE USUAL TENNIS BALLS AND MY SOCCER BALL, BECAUSE MOMMY SAYS THE CLOSEST I WILL GET TO ANOTHER BASEBALL IS LOOKING AT THE KIDS PLAY WITH THEIRS OUT THE WINDOW. I GUESS I WILL RETREAT TO THE DOOR AND PLOT MY HIJACKING OF THEIR BALL.
I GOT ONE!!!June 21st 2006 8:33 pm[ Leave A Comment ] OMIGOSH! OMIGOSH! I am SO very excited! Ever since I saw our neighbor's kid throwing a baseball with his friends I have wanted that thing! I have even snuck and stolen it a few times, only to have it taken away and returned again. Oh, the AGONY! I have been overwhelmed with sorrow and despair at the thought of never having that rough, leathery orb between my teeth again. So imagine my surprise today when mom and dad got home and were holding something behind their back. I knew right away it was for me, but I was overwhelmed with JOY when I saw what it was. MY VERY OWN BASEBALL! I have hardly dropped it for a second since. Granted, it would have been nice if it were a little muddy and worn, but I can do that myself if I have to. Anywoof, I just wanted to say HURRAY FOR ME and let everyone know how very happy I am. If you need me I will be ecstatically chewing my new ball by the door.
Mom is trying to KILL me!June 19th 2006 7:57 pm[ Leave A Comment ] Ok.... let me catch my breath..... ooooeeeeeee! I think mom has gotten a little loopy from all of the sun she got this weekend. Don't get me wrong, I usually LOVE to help keep my mom on the straight and narrow with her exercise routines, but TWO times around the reservoir is really asking a lot! I mean come on, the trail is a mile and a quarter, and I'm usually huffing and puffing by the time we go around once. However, mom got some featherbrained idea that I need exercise. ME! I must admit that I have been doing some of my best Jedi Master Voof tricks lately, so I've been getting lots of people treats (and the gut is starting to show it if ya know what I mean). But that doesn't mean she has to KILL me! Now she says I'm going to upgrade to a two lap exercise routine. I dunno what I am going to do. Should I hide? Plead sanctuary with my good friendly neighbor Angie? I haven't figured it out yet, but I'm gonna have to do something, and it's gonna have to be DRASTIC! Wish me luck!
