Arrival Story: I hate to admit it, but I got her at a pet store. but I did know the people there very well, and their dogs did not come from puppy mills.
Bio: G.P. was a sweetheart. She was the most empathetic dog I have ever been around. She hated when anyone was sick or sad.
She lived to play frisbee. If she had had better people as frisbee throwers, I do believe she could have been a champion. She could really fly to catch one.
She once was running to catch a frisbee and she ran right into the downed limb from a tree. She collected the frisbee, braought it back and sat down. I knew she had hurt herself. Fortunately, the limb had hit her on the breastbone so there was no internal damge, but she did have to get lots of stitches and wear a cone for a very long time.
She tried to play frisbee almost til the day she left us. She could no longer run fast or jump but she would still retrieve.
She left us to cross the bridge when she was 12 1/2.
