R.I.P. our beautiful Gem Fluffy O'Rourke (1997-2010). You are so loved, as much as you will be missed. We were blessed with 13 wonderful years together, but I'm greedy and that time wasn't enough. I'll see you in my dreams, until we meet again. I love you, little Aero-Pup.

Gem passed away peacefully at her Mom's house just after 6:00 pm. Like her sister, Smudge, Gem too was a brave wee warrior until the end. I'm glad I was there to hold her, kiss her muzzle, and tell her to say "hi" to the rest of the O'Rourke clan. I cannot believe you're gone, as your Corgi spirit is so strong. Tomorrow will hurt us even more. ♥

Oh my,
How sad we are to read of the passing of our dear little friend Gem. It has been a year or more since we have visited Dogster.

Your Gem was such a sweet little girl. Her's was (as also so for today) the first page we always visited when we would check in with Dogster. We love reading her diary entries. I can't imagine the pain of your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. But really you have not lost the soul of your beautiful little doggie, as she is free to run wherever she wants to and I am sure that she visits you every single day to make sure you are alright, like the feel of a sweet warm breeze passing through your hair. I lost my Border Collie a year ago and still feel her around, and know that we will meet again, but like you, I wish I could see and stroke and kiss her as well as knowing that she WILL always be with me in spirit.
Pip send all her best love and Hugs, because she came from heaven to where all doggies return, to make space for another doggie to be loved as much by someone like you, so please don't fret. You are a wonderful doggie mummy for sure.
