Well, I am known as the Mistress of Stealth in some circles. I have been keeping a pretty low profile since before Christmas, but I decided to start honing my craft again this week. Who knew that Mom and Dad would get so upset about a little stolen lime meltaway cookie? Okay, they were in the bottom of the trash can, so it was neccessary to remove all the other stuff that was in there on top of it, but I didn't tear it up. I just got it out of the way so that we could eat the cookies!

Tomorrow's the big day! We're all packed up, all our fancy collars, coats and beds are ready to go tomorrow. We even have room for Mom and Dad to have a suitcase, too. It takes us two days to get there, but it's worth it! There will be thousands of hounds to sniff, time to walk on the beach and lots of shopping to do! I can't wait. I so need a vacation! This retired life can really wear you out!

Wow! My birthday was this week, and I am just now recovering enough to bark about it. Dad gave us all pawdicures, and then Mom pawlished all us girls' nails the day before the party. Then, Dad baked us some pupcakes from that greyt Three Dog Bakery cookbook. He even made lavendar frosting on them for me! I got a new collar for my birthday, so I wore that with a party collar, and Treat and Blueberry wore fancy collars and their boas. Hawk just wore a nice collar. He's not into that girlie stuff! ;^) Anyroo, finally it was time to eat the cake and it was to drool for! I loved it! We had enough pupcakes to have one every night before bed. I have to bark, I'm a bit sad about them being all gone. I am definitely looking forward to next year. This retired life is greyt!
