Arrival Story:
I was getting ready to move to New Mexico and decided since I couldn't take my old dog with me (Mom and Dad wouldn't relinquish ownership), I needed a new friend to keep me company. I went to the pound and looked at all the dogs and finally came back to the funny looking little yappy dog named Ross. I decided to take him out and promptly fell in love. I decided Ross was a dumb dog name, so I christened him Hank after the dog in the popular childrens books "Hank the Cowdog". When I brought him home the next day, my mom decided he was the ugliest dog she had ever seen (now she thinks her granddog is very handsome). He has been my constant companion ever since!

Bio:
Hank plays flyball. He isn't the fastest dog on four paws, but he loves it and so do I! His sister can definitly beat him on speed, but Hank has lots of determination!

Bad Dog

My mom has been telling me all day that I am a bad dog. Last night I got into a fight with Tesco and I got hurt. Mom feels very sorry for me, but still says I am a "bad dog". I mean, really, I won the fight, mom should be proud! Instead she is mad because I won. Tesco had to see the vet today and get some antibiotics for his ear that I chewed up. He is feeling better already. I, on the other hand, feel rotten. Mom took me to the vet and they said I had an infection in my chest from the one bite Tesco got in. I don't know what that is, but if it mean my chest hurts like the devil, then that is what I have. I had to have a big bandage wrapped all around my whole body to keep the swelling down and now I look stupid. Oh well. Mom says it is my own fault for picking a fight. I am especially sad because I heard mom tell the vet that I wouldn't be able to go to flyball tomorrow. I love flyball and can't believe she is going to take Kilo without me! I am going to sleep now and maybe my chest won't hurt so bad when I wake up and I can convince mom to take me to flyball tomorrow.
