Deuce is doing very well...and we're working at lengthening her outrun. (we're up to about 100') She's got a nice pair shaped outrun without crowding the sheep. Our trainer even says she'll be ready for a nursery trial come spring! I'm so very proud of her when I tell her "that'll do" she stops and comes to me. Still trying to get her to not get quite so close when she's driving them...luckily she's very quiet so she doesn't freak the sheep but would like her to slow down a little more. She's getting keener and keener at every lesson.

1st lesson

Deuce went for her first lesson yesterday...she's just so smart...not too sure at the beginning what to do until Mom stomped her feet at the sheep then she knew what we wanted...and she went right to work moving both directions to the sheep, coming in and lying down...so proud of her! Can't wait until next week until the next lesson.
