Christmas is coming

Ok this is my first post so let me start by saying hi! I got my first christmas present ever a bit early this year, a new sister! You can see her here as well, her name is Lizzie. I don't live with Missie anymore but we visit her all the time. I told mom I didn't like being an only pup though, there was no one to play with. She's pretty cool, she said she's not sure about mom and dad, the people where she was before were pretty mean from the sounds of it but I've been trying to show her what fun can be had! Between toys and treats and cuddling she is missing out. I think she's starting to believe me.
Yesterday was no fun though. Mom said something about going with her to work, I was so excited! I love going for rides. But I soon found out she wasn't talking about me, guess I should have been listening the whole time so I would have had more time to act cute so she might have taken me too. *sigh* Only Lizzie got to go though, I was pretty peeved. I tried to be good all day though, Lizzie told me about this Santa thing, she heard it from another dog in rescue, and if we're good we get lots of treats and maybe even toys! Then when it was time for everyone to come home there was no mom, just dad. Mom was gone with Lizzie and I was sure they weren't coming back, I was so upset... I took it out of my favorite toy so dad took it away and tried to distract me with playing with a tennis ball.
Soon enough, though, mom came back with Lizzie. I was so excited to see her. I gave her extra kisses to make sure she knew I missed her and was sad that I didn't get to come along. Then I went over to see Lizzie and heard the evil "V" word... VET! Thats where Lizzie had to go today, boy that was close. If I had been along I'd have been there too and they might have given me a shot or something, I don't like that so much. Last time they needed blood for something and that hurt A LOT so Lizzie can just keep that vet business. She said she feels much better now thanks to the vet though and its getting up and playing with me so I guess the vet can't be all bad. Still not sure about them though...
