Arrival Story:
I volunteer for Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue. Bernie's owner brought him to us for placement, but he flunked out because he's really afraid of certain women. I started working on his fears with a private trainer and gradually fell in love with him. So did my husband, and before long we found ourselves with a new dog. I'm hoping my other dog Tippy will be his mentor because she loves everybody.

Bio:
He's such a character. We're always laughing at his antics. He's quite vocal and even cries on command. When he gets real excited, he flops down on his side and howls. I think he's part hound because he has a lot of loose skin under his throat and he bays. I don't know where his spotted black tongue came from.
