Arrival Story:
My mom and dad had just lost their beagle of 9 yrs on September 2,2005 and my mom was feeling really bad about that. My dad decided to talk about Boston Terriers and Mom said "NO MORE DOGS"...well then her birthday came in November. And guess what she got for her birthday?? My dad and mom drove to the house I once lived in and Mom told me that she thought ,ok whichever puppy comes up to me first thats the one who is meant for me. Well my bully brothers all stampeded my mom and dad and I stood back and watched them misbehave. Mom looked over at me and said "awwwwwww" The rest is history. Mommy and Daddy picked me up on Election night and I have been their best "dog son". I know this because Mommy sings it to me every day, "Murphy, Murphy your the one, Murphy, Murphy my perfect dog son".

"A new sister??"

Today was a very interesting day for me. My Momma talked to me about someday getting a little sister. My Mom says that she would give up her vacation in August if we got a new sister for me. I really don't understand what she means but it sounds like a pretty good idea to me! I would get to play with her and give my furless parents a break from chasing after my ball! Momma and Dad bought me one of those little baby wadding pools (I heard my Mom call it that) its OK....maybe tomorrow I will really enjoy it since its going to be a very hot day here in NJ. Well, I gotta get going, there is a doggie cup of vanilla ice cream waiting for me -yummmm my favorite! Oh by the way...Happy Father"s day, Dad!!

Teenage years?

My mom says that I must be going through my "teenage" years....whatever that is! All day long, everytime I jumped up on Mommy or anyone for that matter, Mom would say, NO MURPHY - DOWN MURPHY....WRONG MURPHY....Geesh whats a Boston to do!! So when I stopped jumping up on Mommy I got bored ,so rather then play with all of my toys I decided to try and chew the bottom of mommy's jeans - while she tried to walk - WRONG MURPHY....After being told to "get your boneie" a zillion and one times, Mom turned to my Dad and said,"Murphy must be in his teenage years"
I hope those years arent bad years!! Maybe by tomorrow, those teenage years will be gone - or maybe not cause I think this could be one good excuse for doing lots of fun things - that Mom's don't think are fun! Well, I need to get some sleep and dream nice doggie dreams.
