Birthday: July 25th 1999 Likes: Being petted, walks, relaxing in the backyard, staring at and trying to herd cats Pet-Peeves: Being bothered by her sister Zoe, toenail clipping Favorite Toy: Gnarly bones, Favorite Food: Castor & Pollux! She likes doggie cookies and popcorn. Favorite Walk: Along the river Best Tricks: Comes when called. Offers her paw to shake. Arrival Story: Our Mini Schnauzer puppy was needing a friend. I was looking on petfinder.com for another small dog, but was drawn to Cindy's story! She had been living on a farm but not earning her keep as a working dog. Her owner was going to shoot her, but his kids called a foster mom to see if she would find another home for her. I talked to the foster mom and Cindy sounded like she would fit into our family. We met Cindy, and adopted her right then and there! Bio: She's very quiet, calm, and obedient. While in her foster home, she tore a ligament in her back leg, so she doesn't play much. She really enjoys taking walks, though! We plan on taking her through an obedience course soon. An update on Cindy. We have taken her to obedience course and she hates it. She is very much a homebody and doesn't like riding in the truck. We have found out she is afraid of thunder and gunshots. That's ok, she is a wonderful housedog. Her leg is much better, she takes 2 tablets of a glucosamine daily. She doesn't limp and even runs! Forums Motto: I'm in my happy place Cat herding: She may not have worked cattle or sheep but she does her best to work our cats! Inkspot comes on walks with us to be herded back home!
That little Zaidie pup has been at it again. He was reading in Zoe's diary about barking at the cows and horses. She mentioned how I liked to do that too. I sure did like to watch those kitty cats though.
That Z. is such a talented little guy. Here is the little poem he wrote just for me.

Watch out fur hair balls :D
Thank you Little White Dog. Be good, I'm watching you. ;-)
Mom just heard from our favorite rescue people. I lived at their house for over a year while waiting to be adopted. Please pray for a miracle for Ron.
Here is a part of the email Mom received.
We found out on Dec. 7 that Ron has a brain tumor. We have been in SLC month of Dec., Jan and part of Feb. Finally home and enjoying being here. He went through 33 treatments of Radiation and Chemo. Will start Chemo again on Monday for 5 days on, 21 days off. Trying to shrink the tumor as it is inoperable. So we are praying for a miracle. I just know that God will answer our prayers… Sure never expected this one..
