A nice lil poem for the kiddies.
Who Has Seen the Wind?
by Christina Georgina Rossetti
Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you.
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I.
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.
Yeah, so, the point of the poem is that ya can't See the wind.
But I can hear it.
And I can bark at it!
The durn wind has been blowin and blowin here at my place for days and days and nights too.
Sumtimes it sounds like trucks or tractors rumblin 'round out there.
I bark at it.
It's no fun to go out to play. Plus, it's a cold wind that blows 'round here.
Nuthin to do but bark.
On 'nother note, did you pups know that our Texas pal, Finley has her very own blog? Take a peek, if a bunch of us bark at her, she'll be motivated to keep the blog up to date! ;-)
Well Pals, keep on keepin on. I feel like that Sherlock dood that Mommy watches on tv.

Momma is bored also. Oh well, only two more months of winter. Hopefully!
Crikey ... I'm glad you blokes are bored ... gives me lots of amusing reading matter. Sorry about the wind. Doesn't sound too good to me. You poor things! Hope spring comes around quickly for you all. My Mum hasn't heard that poem Zoe and she loves it. Kid's poetry is about at her level. She's really into poetry and stuff. Too weird for me ... keep barking at that wind. I hate it too but we don't get very much of it thank goodness. I'll check out the blogs later ...
We never heard that poem.
It has been windy here too. At night when it is windy and making noise I just cuddle up closer to Mommy. :)
We had wind here too, for something you can't see it sure makes a lot of noise! And last summer that wind ripped a big tree limb off our tree and it made us have no electricity for a couple of days and just lately two more big branches fell down. That wind, maybe you can't see it but it sure lets you know it's there! Thank you for the nice poem.
It might slow down a bit, we just got rid of the nasty wind and rain from Sat and Sun. Found a leak in the garage in the roof.
I bark da wind too. And I's had a lot to bark at lately.
It were real windy here yesterday-- but it was out of the south and warmer....
Today it were colder and not so windy.
But Whitley barked just the same....hee hee...
And one of my resolutions is to keep my blog up... it's kinda like da diaries here with all the comments and stuff.... and if they evfur do away with this part of Dogster, I hopes a bunch of my pals here will get a blog so's we can keep on barkin' with each other...
