They're out there. I saw 'em from OP Zoe. I can hear 'em.
Let Me out there!
Plus I gotta go potty.
Ok, so this mornin sumtime, the firewood guy pulls in with a pickemup truck pullin a long flat trailer. Then a lil blue car pulls in too. There's 2 wemen in there.
Me and Tux were havin a BARKFEST. But Mommy wouldn't let us go outside when she went out.
Then it got quiet. We got to go out and bark at the pickemup truck with the long trailer. It was parked over there in My weedy pasture place. Then we had to go inside.
Then the firewood guy came back with 'nother truck with a "boom and a bucket" thingy. Google that. And the 2 wemen came back too.
We couldn't go out for hours and days. But we still BARKed and Tux ran around and whined. Mommy turned on the tv for "white noise". Yeah, right, like Gidget is gonna stop Me from BARKIN! Bol!
Seems like days passed. Our eyes began to cross. Then our back legs began to cross.
We Had to potty!
Mommy went out to talk to one of the wemen. Then we got to go out.
Do I need to tell any of you what we did when we got outside?
I even got to bark up that lil dog. Yep, she was back too. She was on the other side of the fence in My front yard.
My big tree had been all cutted off. Well, not all of it but a bunch of it was on the ground and they had piled a bunch of it on the flat trailer. I guess the man was usin the big "boom and bucket" truck with his chainsaw thingy. The 2 wemen were cleanin up the mess the man was makin. Mommy says that's the way it is always is.
Anywho, we barked 'em up good, took a quick tinkle time and made Mommy proud when she called us to come back inside. We got big cookies! :-)
Then the pickemup truck pulled out with a lot of the tree branches. Mommy said they are probly takin it over to the landfill. They should be back for the rest of the mess.
We got to go out again when they pulled out.
And it was a double good bark time. While we were bein kept in and the peepoles were cuttin up My tree, big combines and tractors and trailers and semi trucks and even a porta-potty pulled into the wheat field back there.
What's a dog to do? Me and Tux didn't know where to bark first! We barked the big boom truck parked over there. We barked the lil blue car parked along the road. The peeoples were gone. But of course, we still barked. Then we turned to the back fence to take care of the big farm stuff. There were even a couple guys just standin there talkin.
Wow! Can you believe the action 'round here today? Even though we had to stay in for hours and stuff, it is a good day in My neighborhood!
But we got it taken care of. You can count on us.
To bark. A lot.
I am exhausted just reading about your day! You had a barking good time!
Howy CWAP, Zoe!! Yu an' Tux must be toadawwy 'xhausted aftur all dat! I hope yur dinner r gonna be packed wif pwotein tu webuild yur barkin' muscles! BOL :D
Wow! That sounds super busy! Good for you for protectin' your Mama and home! Those hoomans can't protect themselves!!
Did you get a sniff at the branches? Did they smell like, SQUIRRELS?!?!?!
You lost me when you mentioned BIG COOKIE - I was drooling all over myself and wishing I had one.
I must admit, I am one pooped out pup.
I think supper is gonna be Honeymoon salad. Lettuce alone. Grrr.
Buddha, we don't got no skirrels. I think the kitty cats chased them off years ago.
I know CR, I was Shocked when Mommy handed us each big cookies. Usually, she breaks them into teeny, tiny pieces and give us crums.
The peepoles aren't comin back tonight, I don't think. Maybe tomorrow or the next day after that they will come back to finish cleanin up!
Sounds like y'all had a lot to bark! I didn't really have anything interesting to bark today, but it didn't stop me.
you and Tux are so lucky to have so much action out in I dunno!
Wow! Did you pups lose your voices with all that barking?
Perhaps your should teach the cats to bark for those occasions when you might lose your voice, but the barking must go on !
I mighta started to sound a lil froggie. But I am good to go again! And I did! I'll bark in my diary 'bout it soon.
