Birthday: February 6th 2006 Likes: Being with people, playing ball, playing Town Gardener on our walks by picking up every stick he can find--the bigger the better! Pet-Peeves: Being in the sun, being excluded, and closed doors Favorite Toy: My old stuffed animal dogs! Favorite Food: scrambled eggs Favorite Walk: Island Beach State Park & Fisherman's Cove Best Tricks: High 5, getting piggy-back rides, and speak Arrival Story: After 2 years of research, I found the perfect puppy! I read everything I could find about PWDs. I called and emailed countless breeders and learned so much from the PWDCA. At last, the timing, dogs, and people collided and I brought Luca home. I've turned into one of those obsessed dog people and he's turned into a gentle, well adjusted pup. I couldn't be happier and I don't think he could be more loved. :) Bio: Luca is officially "Ebb Tide Don't Go Breakin Your Heart". He is a black, wavy male with a really great disposition. The sire of his litter is a very successful therapy dog. Luckily, Luca inherited that loving personality. Forums Motto:
My first hurricane!! So far the weather reports are predicting that my neighborhood will get pretty beat up. However, Nautie and I are cool as cucumbers. We did notice something strange on our evening walk, though: there weren't any squirrels, chipmunks, or bunnies to spy and chase. Birds were flying super low and fast. Also, there was an eerie glow to the sky. We're not supposed to get hit till tomorrow night; but Kathleen is trying to get her Mommy to head out tomorrow morning. We live relatively close to the beach-- but really it's the big trees in my Gramma's yard that pose the biggest threat. What I want to know: how am I supposed to manage my potty schedule if we're in the middle of such a storm???
Happy 5th birthday to my baby boy!! As dramatic as it may sound, these have been the best 5 years of my life --thanks to him. Boy, do I love this pup. xoxo
Oh, what an autumn I've had! Nautie went to toddlers in tiaras boot camp so Kathleen & I got to play at the beach. We had such fun. After a couple days apart, we reunited down in Maryland for some doggie shows. The conformation events were alright. Nautie did win her first point. However, the real highlight of our trip was our stroll through Baltimore. We got our picture taken with Santa, too.
