Arrival Story:
A client of my husband's knew we were looking for a dog after the passing of our chocolate lab. Rosa was a long ways away, so we didn't work very hard at getting her. But, the breeder was flying to Washington with another PWD and offered to bring Rosa for half of the airfare. We did it and Rosa was not thrilled with our house at first. It was a three story house and she had always lived on a boat or a one story housse. She was very nervous for probably two weeks. Then we took her to our lake house and we finally saw the real, "Rosa." All, she wanted to do was run and jump off the dock. Now, she really settled in when we took her on our boat and it wass was obvious that was where she was meant to be. If outside the boat, she likes to sit on the bow with her face in the wind. If we are inside, she cuddles up near window with lots of pillows under her.

She isn't real thrilled to play with other dogs. She is not mean, just not in to playing. We think it is because she was a show dog. But, if we look the other way, we catch her having a good time and playing.
