I'm a Capricorn!

Capricorn

More serious and deliberate than most, it's likely that the Capricorn dog will live to a ripe old age. Why? Well, for one, there's no risk-taking behavior going on with this pup. The Capricorn pooch will plod along, amusing itself by watching the other animals as they play to their heart's content. What keeps this creature happy is helping out and working hard. Need that paper fetched? The Cap dog will do it daily. Stable and serene, the Cap canine will appreciate a comfortable home and a happy family. These animals won't need much exercise, either -- for them, work is exercise! This is a dog that really loves to feel needed, so don't be reluctant to dole out those chores. Very self-controlled, the Cap canine is easy to house-train and will know the importance of following the family rules. Self-reliant as well, this is a dog that will do just fine back home while Mom, Dad, and the kids take a family trip. While the Cap pup doesn't need much touch or love, it does like to be neat and clean, so brush them regularly. Watch their bones and teeth, too, as these areas may require special attention.

I'm pooped!

My mom and my aunty took me and my cousin benny hiking yesterday! We went on a 6 mile hike and it was really hard. We climbed over rocks, trees, and streams. Almost the whole hike was uphill! My mom had to lift me up a couple of times to get me over some rocks that were about 3 times my size, but other than that she never carried me. I almost got eaten by a huge crawdaddy (sp?) in a stream but narrowly escaped! I am so proud of myself for hiking that far. I was pretty happy to see the car at the end! I slept the whole way home, all through last night, and have been laying around the house all day.
And some people say that little dogs aren't fun! I am a big dog in a little body!!

No more Christmas trees in my pee!

Mom tricked me yesterday, said we were going for a walk and we walked to the vet! I had been on my U/D food for about 3 weeks and it was time to check my pee to see if the food was working. I gave my sample and mom said it was a very stressful 20 minutes while we waited for the results. The vet came in and low and behold there were no more crystal christmas trees in my pee! I still have to eat the U/D food, but my mom is so happy she could cry. Now if only Natural Balance would send her a big check to cover my vet expenses......

the new dog!

My mom and my aunty got a media center for their house. There are glass panels on the doors of the bottom part. Every time I look into those glass panes I see another dog that looks exactly like me! I start to bark at him to tell him to go away but he barks right back. I move to the side, he moves to the side. I wag my tail at him, he wags his tail at me! it is very annoying. My mom wants me to make friends with this other pup so I will stop barking at him, but he lives in the media center and I can't get to him to smell him! It is driving both my mom and me nuts!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Kiss me - my cousin is Irish! hehehe. well as you can see by my pictures, I fully support my cousin in his Irish heritage. My mom used food coloring and turned me green this morning! We then went downtown and walked in a parade. We got to walk with the Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, and I was an honorary SCWT for the day. Everyone said they thought I was the most photographed pup in the parade. If there is a picture of me in the newspaper I will try to post it on my page here. I got to meet lots of people and I got lots of treats! A few silly kids asked if I was really green hehehe my mom told them I was born this way and I am a very special and rare breed hehe. As soon as the parade was over we raced home and I had to take a shower ugh. My mom washed me twice but there are a few spots where she couldn't get the green out of my fur. So now I am a light green spotted Havanese. Overall it was a great day and I can't wait until next year!!

It's my birthday today! yay! I am officially 1 year old. I felt kind of bad this morning because I think mom had forgotten, but then I spied a big bone on the counter hopefully it is for me!!!!

My mom is trying to kill me!!!

I think my mom is trying to kill me. She sent me to this place the other day where they put me on a table and shaved off all of my nice long hair. It was very traumatizing and I am very upset with my mom. So after they take away my beautiful man hair they continue by shaving my private parts! the audacity! the woman even said I looked 'pretty'. I am a manly man! I am handsome, not pretty.
So mom takes me home from this little shop of horrors and proceeds to turn the heat up in the house 'for me'. I think she was trying to bake me!! when I finally found her in the other room and panted all over she got the hint and turned the heat down. those furless ones are so clueless.
Now my cousin benny is over here ...and ....and ...and.... he is chewing on MY BULLY STICK!!!! AAAAHHH!
I am giving my mom sad eyes so she will take it away from benny and give it to me but she won't do it. she says it is the only way to keep benny from getting in the trash. arg. maybe if I was big enough to reach the trash I could have MY bully stick back. I am going to go and sulk now. humph.

New Sweater and grandma!

I got a new sweater and a new doggy bed. I am so happy! My sweater is a fall sweater from target. it is green with different colored leaves on it and I like it a lot. maybe I will post a pic of me in it sometime soon.
I got to go to the park yesterday and play with Luna for a whole hour. I was so tired on the way home that I slept and then we got home and I slept, and slept, and slept, and slept some more. I didn't wake up until this morning. hehehe.
I'm also really excited because my grandma is coming to visit me this weekend. well I think it is for me but my mom said something about it being HER birthday. oh and I finally get to meet my great grandmother. I hope she likes me :/ ok I have to good eat dinner now.
