Ahhh Oooh Bodie!

Discovery Walk...

Today mommy took me on my first discovery walk ... I got a chance to go with mommy on a very long walk on the other side of our community. I got a chance to go through the woods and look for deer and rabbits... I didn't see any deer though ... but I saw some cats and rabbits. This was the first time... I understood the leave it command... mommy only had to tell me once... I didn't try to pull her over to the rabbits in the woods or anything. I guess it was because I was so tired. This was the first time mommy has been to this part of the community. So many new places to see... I was so tired... I almost sat down on her. When I got back home... I tried to tell Kiara where we went... but I was to tired and she was so tired also. Hopefully- Kiara will feel better tomorrow and we can go back there and I can show her what I discovered today.

Ahhh Oooh Bodie here!

I didn't know where mommy was taking me today. She don't usually just take me by myself unless it's to the smelly groomer or the Vet. It's always with Kiara. Today I got all of mommy's undivided attention- she took me to some place called the Humane Society to get my rabies shot. I don't think she was too happy when we left there. It was to many dogs and cats... yep. Cats-- I almost lost my mind with all the cats there. A couple of them tried to scratch my nose off for being to close to their house. Lots of humans- and kids. I love humans and kids. Kids are my favorite- they give the best hugs- next to mommies. Mommy had a hard time trying to control me. Everytime I saw a different friend ... I tried to haul her off to introduce myself. She always told me I should have some training and manners. She needs to make up her mind- whether she wants me to be friendly or not. And she needs to stop changing the rules. Ahhh Oooh.

Whewww, I'm pretty tired now. The neighborhood kids went for a walk with me and Kiara today. That walk plus the shot has made me so sleepy. I hope mommy gives us a treat tonight. I think I deserve it. After all, everyone at the Humane Society knows my name... they kept calling and saying Bodie. Mommy should be so proud of me.

Ahhh Oooh I haven't Pawed at ya for a while...

Whewww, mommy has been hogging the computer... I guess she's still a little uptight over what I did to her magazine. She has been telling- everybody how she can't trust me as far as she can see me. But- she trust ole yappy mouth!! She wouldn't have known about what I did with that magazine if Kiara would have kept her trap shut. Kiara loves to yap to the humans on anything that she can't eat- she didn't say a word to mommy when I jumped on the kitchen cabinet and got that snack pack of cheese goodies- it almost gave mommy a headache when she saw the cheese stains on her. Me... I didn't care... I took the whole box in my crate!! Hey it is my castle-- just wanted to take it home!

Ahhh Oooh- I guess you can say... I've been busy lately- for some reason- I seem to be doing a lot of stuff- mommy though I had outgrown. I don't think I'm bored- me and kiara get quite a bit of exercise-- more than most of the pups in our community-- which is very big! Mom is a runner- so that's not a problem- I seem to be fixed on cats lately- yesterday, I almost got away from mommy on our walk because of a cat. Kiara understands the leave it command... not me-- mommy has to tell me twice - then cross the street. I don't get it. I didn't even know what a cat was at first-- now I'm really fixed with them. At night- mommy has to make me come upstairs like a baby because she doesn't want me to get into trouble and poor Granny- she has lost all trust in me-- ever since I tried to eat her cellphone. Hey... I was trying to call 911. I can't believe her and mommy went to a party without us!!

Whewww- it's late... my paws are getting tired of all that walking back and forth thru the doggie door looking for that cat that has been around the fence-we don't get that many visitors at night. Mommy still hasn't given us our treat... I don't know what she is waiting for... Christmas.... BOL!! I guess I'll give her my wolf stare and see if that will work... BOL

Yep! We heard the news!

Me and Kiara are protesting... yep. We heard the news on the can food recall-so for three days we have been protesting, however my greedy sister Kiara has been eating all the chicken out of the food- me... if it has kibble, I'm not eating any of it. It doesn't matter if it's the "good stuff" as mom calls it. She keeps reminding us that she travels a distance to get us this Wellness crap-- Well it doesn't look like the stuff that she used to cook for us when we are out of kibble-- so it's official me and Kiara have been listening to the news-- and we heard mommy say that she's thinking about feeding us more of the good stuff for some of our meals- well yesterday- we won! ahhhh ooooh! It doesn't take the humans long to give in-- mom brings in the groceries and guess what she has-- yep- ground beef, brown rice, sweet potato, cottage cheese-- yogurts-- veggies- all the stuff we love. Mom keeps yelling- you guys better start eating... or I'm calling the vet- News Flash!! mom we heard the news- we just don't want kibble- so it has been three meals so far.. and no kibble! ahhh oooh- I don't know how long me and Kiara can keep this up with our protesting.. .but for now it's working.

Going to the groomer is the pits

Mom took me and Kiara to the groomers yesterday. I don't know why she had to take me... I wasn't dirty, mom said I was very smelly. She said that all the candles in the store couldn't cover up my smell. Hey, I'm a Husky-- who don't like water either. I can't believe what that groomer did to me and my sister. I thought she was going to brush me to death!! All she kept saying was I can't believe he has this much hair!! News flash, Huskies have an undercoat! And what she did to my Sister... Mom, has still been hollering... Mom says Kiara looks like a cute poodle. Well, one things fur sure... we won't be going to the groomers anytime soon. Mom, says it will have to take a skunk before she lets another groomer do anything but a bath for us again. Ever. Oh, Mom- where's my treats... Ahhhh oooh!

Happy Birthday To Me

Today is my birthday, mom keeps telling me this. I think she has forgotten about the trip we took to PetSmart yesterday to get my birthday toy. She didn't seem to happy with what I did to it. She just kept, saying oh nooooo can't you wait until your birthday tomorrow. Hey, I'm just getting to be 4- what does wait means? Well, today me and Kiara got lots of treats and a fun outing at the dog park with my new husky buddies and friends.
