I have learned how to sit, heel, lay down, and shake.... and steal things. I am learning how to dance on my hind legs.
Arrival Story:
My mom and dad said they had been looking for a Pembroke for over a year and were trying to rescue an adult dog from the Southern California Corgi Rescue. Along came a 2-year-old female that they loved... but the rescue placed her before she could come live with them. When they had almost given up, the rescue called to tell them they had a baby girl (me!) that needed a home. Of course mom and dad jumped at the chance and here I am! I am causing trouble all over the place!
Bio:
I really like to play hard, but I nap hard too. My favorite thing to do is to make my brother chase me from the kitchen all the way to our big fluffy bed in the living room. I run full speed and leap onto the bed and roll like a potatoe into the wall. So much fun! I love to eat sticks and make a huge mess with them on the carpet. I make a little gurgle when I greet my parents and people I love... mom and dad say it sounds like "chewbacca."

I met Rigby for the first time last weekend.... He wasn't too sure about me at first. That's because I told him I wanted to play! He looked at me and he growled! I gave him a mighty "Arf!" right back. He can't bully me around.
So then we started to play and he is soooo fast! I couldn't catch him so I waited for him to come back around again and you know what? He just ran right over me and I rolled over like a little potatoe. Then we played with a stick we found on the grass. That was tons of fun.
Well, I get to go home with Rigby's family on Friday, the 21st. I hope everything goes okay. I really hope they got me toys!
