Arrival Story:
She came into our life as an 8-week old wrinkly ball of joy. Her baby picture (the one that says B1) was taken when she was 5 weeks old and perfectly sums up her inquisitive & playful personality.

Bio:
In some ways, Ella is a very different dog from Spock, our previous shar-pei. She plays with toys, for example, something that the dignified Mr. Spock quickly outgrew. She's exceptionally friendly with other dogs and loves nothing better than getting chased around in good fun. Spock was a little more reserved and not a big fan of other dogs. When Spock died of cancer in the fall of 2001, we went dogless for several months. And though we had intended to get a rescue dog, in our search for another sharpei we came across Shenanigans Sharpei (shenanigansharpei.com) and felt really good about getting a dog from Susan and Mike. Great folks and great dogs.
