Matchmaker

Today I did something that you only see in the movies. I helped my mom meet a new man. We were running in the park and I was pulling my mom the whole way. I saw someone that looked like my mom's type so I pulled her through the center of the park. She tried to pull me the other way and as she was doing that she dropped the leash. I took off and she chased me. I ran right up to another dog and his master. I stopped once I got to them and Mom was right behind me. She looked up at the guy I had brought her to and a smile came across her face. They started talking and have planned a date for me and the other dog. Too bad they arent on dogster, we asked. So, now we both have a new friend and its all thanks to me.

Can I please just sleep

Everyday my mom gets home from work, puts me in my harness and takes me running. She has really gotten into this whole running bit. My only problem is she doesnt want to run down the block she wants to go 3 miles!

I have a lot of energy that I must exert everyday. I didnt realize how lazy I was until Mom decided both of us needed to be in better shape. Now we run for 30 minutes everyday and today it was hot outside. I mean sweat dripping down my fur hot. I thought I was going to pass out after 2.5 miles. I am in pretty good shape but today I just decided to lay down in the middle of the sidewalk. I looked at my mom and said "hey, I cant do this anymore" and I laid down. She yelled and jerked my leash but I wasnt budging.

So, My mom picked me up and carried me home. I weigh 27 pounds and my mom had to carry me 6 blocks in the 87 degree heat. I'm so glad she loves me. Now I'm sleeping on her bed while she types my thoughts for me, I'm so spoiled.
