New Season, New Situations

It's September. Summer is over and Fall is here. My very first summer was great. Mommy and I moved back to Brooklyn to Papa and Mama's house. I love living in Brooklyn because there are a lot of people who play with me like Uncle Shao Shao, Tori, Cousin Chloe, Mama, Papa and Yee. Everyone always plays with me and gives me lots of belly rubs. Except this crazy old lady who lives in the basement of mommy's house. I think she's Mommy's grandma. She's always yelling at me. I don't even know why! She's always acting crazy around Mommy so I bark at her and tell her to leave Mommy alone!

This summer was so much fun. I spent a lot of time at Daddy's house. Daddy would play with me in the backyard and sometimes I even get to go to the park near by. If I'm really good, Daddy let's me run around freely like I use to at the secret park in Allston by Daddy's apartment in college.

I went to the beach for the very first time back in July. It was SO hot! Mommy and I were laying out at Cedar Beach and taking lots of pictures. All I did while Mommy was laying out was drink my big bowl of water. Beaches have a lot of grainy stuff on the floor called sand. I didn't know what it was, all I knew was every time I stood on it my paws would sink into it. That made me so angry so I started eating the sand. But the sand and the big bowl of water I drank didn't mix well so I threw up ;x It was really embarassing. Mommy tried to take me closer to the water but the waves scared me!!! At first it was exciting because I was chasing the waves, and I love to chase things. But then the water turned around and started chasing me! I hate getting wet!

Now that Summer's over a lot of changes have been going on. Mommy went back to school in Boston but she couldn't take me with her :( I really miss her. Every day I would wait by the door for her hoping she would come back. But Uncle Shao Shao explained to me that Mommy's in Boston and will only be coming back every couple weeks to see me. I miss her a lot. Mommy is my best friend and it's not the same without her around. But Papa, Uncle Shao Shao and Mama are still home to play with me. Uncle Shao Shao takes me on walks and I play on his bed when he's on the computer doing homework or playing games. Papa and Mama buy me lots of treats and chew toys. On the weekends Daddy picks me up and I play at his house with Sandra. I love daddy's house because his whole house is carpet and I love playing on carpet. It's so soft and comfy for rolling around and laying down.

Uncle Shao told me that Mommy's coming home tomorrow. I'm so excited. I can't wait to see Mommy and show her what a good girl I've been and how big I got. I'm gonna give Mommy a million kisses!

Mommy stayed home to play with me today. I'm so happy because I miss her a lot when she leaves for work. In the morning Mommy and I caught up on the new Simple Life and wachted a couple of Christina Aguilera performances on MTV. I thought it was boring so I just laid down next to Mommy on the sofa and took a nap. After I woke up I grabbed just about every toy I own and tried to make Mommy play with me but all she did was sleep in bed. What is that all about? I thought she stayed home so she could play with me! Finally I gave up. I was tired and she looked tired. So I crawled up next to Mommy and laid down again. Earlier today, I was licking my paw like crazy while Mommy was doing her morning routine. She picked me up to see why I was licking my paw and realized I was trying to lick the poop off my paw. Mommy freaked out. She hates it when I try to eat/lick/touch poop.

summer time

I've been moving around a lot lately. Daddy came to pick me up the other day to live in Queens for the weekend because Mommy had to go somewhere for a few days. I like living with Daddy because he lives by two humungous parks and a big backyard behind his house. Since the weather hasn't been too hot (I can't stand the heat! It makes me sleepy) Daddy took me on a really long walk through the park and yesterday that lady that doesn't speak the same language as Mommy and Daddy took me too. I never understand anything she says. It's complete gibberish. But she pets me a lot so I like her nonetheless. The last time Daddy let me out into the backyard, I was rolling around in the grass like I always do, except I rolled in my own poop and got myself really dirty. Daddy was totally freaking out. He was trying to pick me up and bring me back inside to get cleaned up. But I wasn't finished playing outside yet, so I kept running in circles away from Daddy to milk as much backyard time as I could. But in the end Daddy won, because he always does and I had to go back inside to get cleaned up. When we came back to Mommy's house last night, Daddy told her about my backyard incident and she freaked out. She probably told him that I'm not allowed to play outside anymore. Mommy's always so nervous. Aiya.

relief!

After a few days of mommy and daddy freaking out, my bottom canine came out today. It was a reluctant little sucker that was super loose these last couple of days but it just wouldn't fall out. Daddy tried to wiggle it a little to see if it would loosen, Mommy gave me my chewy toys to help, but I knew what they were trying to do and I didn't like it! I didn't want to be rushed. So when I ate or chewed my toys I would chew on one side to avoid moving my tooth! I thought I was soo smart. But finally in the afternoon today while Daddy and his friends were hanging out in the living room, I was running around buck wild chewing everything and it finally came out. When Mommy came home she was so proud of me, but I didn't even know what was going on. But hey, if I get a treat for it, I don't care if I don' t know what the reason is, I'll take it!

baby teeth!

my baby teeth are beginning to fall out! two came out already. daddy caught me sniffing and biting the first one because i didn't kno w what it was. then when daddy picked a pair of his jeans off from the ground he found another one. i'm a big girl now!

new friends

today at the park, i made two new friends. this time, they were the small puppies, just about the same size as me! one was a long haired chihuahua and the other was a maltipoo. we ran around and played together for almost an hour. mommy even let me off my leash for the first time to run freely with my friends. she was very proud of how well behaved i was. it was the best day ever.

mommy and daddy brought me to the park two days in a row!

yesterday, mommy and i went to the park where i made three new friends. all three of the doggies were a lot lot bigger than me. one was a boxer. he was a puppy, but it didn't seem like it because he was five times my size. he was really excited to meet me, but i kept hiding behind mommy's leg because i was a little scared. the other two dogs i met were really big too. one was the same color as me and one was black. they were a lot calmer than the boxer pup. the doggies kind of looked like a giant version of me.

Water Fun!

Today I went for a jog with daddy in our secret park. I was still sleepy but I love to run outside!! Daddy takes me to a park with lots and lots of grass! I don't get scared because there are no cars around and I run ahead of daddy and he follows. I got tired from running up and down hills, I had to walk home.

When I got home, mommy and daddy gave me my first bath! I was a little scared because I've never been put in the tub before but I had a lot of fun and I love the bubbles! I do not like the blowdryer even though it makes me feel good. I don't like the sound of it. Now I'm fluffy again and I'm trying on all my dresses so mommy can take pictures of me!

i got to go outside today. i went cruising with mommy and daddy around comm. ave. where i tried to play with a pigeon that seemed to have trouble flying, and went to petco. there was a puppy obedience class going on at the store and when i walked in, everyone stopped paying attention and looked over at me. i wanted to play with all the puppies, but i had to go home after mommy bought me treats and shampoo. i tried my first greenie today. i loved it! i couldn't stop chewing it. :)
