More needles

Well I thought I was in the clear after getting sliced open last year, but wouldn't you know? I needed more surgery. This time, they cleaned my teeth but also took out a mammary mass on my tummy. I don't know what it is yet but am hoping everything comes back ok. Maybe we'll know next week. My new brother Winston had his teeth cleaned, got neutered and had two masses removed from his head the very same day. It was stressful for the whole family but we are happy it's behind us now!

Pain in the neck!

April was certainly a doozy of a month for me. I was just ducking my head all the time, and moving as little as possible. All the prednisone in the world wasn't cutting it any more, and one day I just fell over and stayed put. My person rushed me to the emergency room where I stayed for two nights. They sent me home with some pain medicine for a few days, but it didn't help. They decided they wanted to do an mri, and from that, found out I had a ruptured disc. Talk about a pain in the neck.

So I had some surgery, but you wouldn't know it. They gave me some super good-feeling medicine, and I'm better than brand new. In fact, I don't think the incision on my neck is real. I feel great.

I get my staples out next week, and hopefully my hair will start growing back so I don't look like a turkey. My chin is a little wrinkly, but I'm a voluptuous woman who's birthed a lot of babies-- what do you expect?

Surgery was totally worth it. I feel great and I'm getting the queen treatment. Now I can do absolutely no wrong-- my sisters and brother better watch out. They have to handle me with kid gloves.

All of this means extra treater-eaters for me... and a whole lotta lovin'. This recovery business isn't so bad!
