Baby Pirates!

Ahoy Matey, I thought it would be nice to share a photo with my readers of Johnny Depp as a infant Captain Jack Sparrow. Of course, this photo was taken before he became "Captain", but it is nice to see him and his crew the way they looked when they were babies. Their rendition of Yo Ho HO, and bottle of rum" is delightful. Here is the link so you can check it out for yourself.

Sail on over to the website, but be prepared to walk the plank since these pirate babies look quite fierce!

Doggy IQ Tests

I have mentioned many times in past entries about how I was chosen by Sears as a genius. In fact, I love to bring up the subject even though I am normally a very modest dog who does not like to brag (no snide comments from the cat gallery). Yeah, I know cats like to read my diary even though they won't admit it. Anyway, I know some of you would like to know if you are also geniuses. If you are a dog reading this, I would say it is highly likely you are one, then this link is for you. It is a doggy IQ test that the humans can use to find out just how smart you are. Here is the link:

Be sure and let us know what level of genius you possess, but don't expect the humans to be impressed. They are not easily impressed with brains, but if you let them rub your tummy, they usually feel better!

Did you see more dogs than usual hitchhiking their way to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania over the weekend? They were attending Woofstock. This is an event for dogs that brings all dogs together for a fun time! Here is the link for more information:

From what I've heard, it went well. I plan to be there next year!

I'd like to thank Hershey and Van Winkle for the blue ribbon on my page!

Diary Pick!

I would like to thank Dogster for honoring me with a diary pick today. I also want to thank all the dogs who chipped in and sent me a semi truck load of dingo bones. I have such thoughtful friends!!! What Mommy? There is no truck load of dingo bones for me? Surely, you are wrong. I dreamed that I got a truck load of dingo bones, and it was one of those dreams that is so realistic that you know it is going to come true!!!! Where are my dingo bones? I have to go now and find them. I'll write more tomorrow--until then.....

Dog Colonoscopy

I know the humans expect dogs to do many things that we aren't interested in doing, but we do them just to make the humans happy. Or perhaps it is because the humans use muzzles and tranquilizers on us so that they get their way. Today's link is one that made me very angry:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyeOv7llD7w

This is a video of a colonoscopy done on a dog!!! This is a procedure that a dog should not be subjected to having done. Ask any dog, and you will get a 100% agreement that this is a stupid test that is never necessary. Some of the humans might argue that the video uses a "stuffed" dog and not an actual "living" dog. However, I don't think it matters. That stuffed dog would be every bit as humiliated when the humans took the video and posted it on Youtube. I think that is wrong on the part of the humans. Would they like it if their dog did a colonoscopy on the humans and posted the video on the Internet? I guess it isn't a bad idea...maybe that is the only way the humans will learn!

Send Packages to Demon Flash Bandit

Mommy, do not read this diary entry because it is not meant for humans--only dogs!!!!

Your assignment today is to gather those toys and rawhide bones you aren't using and put them in a box, and send them to me, Demon Flash Bandit. My address is Demon Flash Bandit, Michigan. I'm sure that is all I need as an address since I am so famous. Be sure and add, Angel Zoom Smokey: Do Not Touch!!!! She always thinks that whatever is mine is hers too when I have been pointing out since she was a puppy that everything is mine, and sometimes she gets things out of my generosity. Feel free to make it easier on yourself by just sending money (that green stuff in your human's wallet).

Let's not tell the humans about this diary entry.

Doggy CPR Could Save a Dog's Life!

I had trouble once again getting onto Dogster yesterday so I was unable to write a diary entry. I'm glad to be back on today. My entry today is a public service to the humans who own dogs. It is about how to give a dog CPR, and possibly save the dog's life. Here is the link:

I wrote a blog today about the humans eating lunch out when a dog could potentially be served human food with the money saved by not eating out! My blog address is:

Be sure your humans read it!

International Rabbit Day--Hopy Your Didn't Miss It!

I have written diary entries for two days which did not show up on my page so yesterday, I decided not to bother. Instead I did some serious research (you dogs know how big I am on research), and I came to the conclusion that birds have taken over dogster. They are on a personal bird mission to keep my readers from reading my diary entries. The last one I wrote even said it was added when it wasn't! Yeah, I have no idea how birds could be smart enough to take over dogster, but I assume they are working with some other animals who don't like dogs--maybe squirrels.

For the past two entries, I have tried to thank everydog who sent me pirate flags, and since they were never published, I'll try again. Thanks to:

Luna, Hobo, Milo, and Jenny
Emmy
Petey
Whitley
Zaidie
Randi, Margo, Sadie, Luv You Forever, and Casey
Mr. Jack Freckles Sir-Licks-A-Lot
Coco Rose and Puff
Robin Hood *OMD*
Finley
Scooter, Misty, Mr. Cutter, and Pepper
Hershey and Van Winkle
Buddy Morris, Molly Morris, Scooter Morris, and Petey Morris
Zoe, Cindy, Inkspot, Scooter, and More
Tinkerbelle and Natasha
Heinrich, Gwinn, and Dolly Dog

I really do appreciate all the wonderful pirate flags on my page!!!

I am very annoyed that my entry Sunday didn't make it through since it was International Rabbit Day, I hope everyone remembered and celebrated by being nice to a bunny!

Catching Kevin "Bacon"

Herro Mateys, I want to thank all my pals for the pirate flags on my page. What better way to remind a dog that it is talk like a pirate day., Savvy?

I'm sharing a link for my dog pals who live in New Jersey or are able to travel to New Jersey. Kevin Bacon (an actual pig) is on the loose there. The humans want the pig returned, but if a dog catches the "bacon" and decides to eat it, the humans don't have to know about it. Here is the link:

Hamster Have no Business Driving Cars!

I got up this morning, and it started out as a normal, nice day. Then I got on the computer and saw this item in the news:

http://msnvideo.msn.com/?channelindex=4&from=en-us_ msnhp#/video/28fc1240-f251-f4c1-d35c-810d261b3f40

In this video a hamster, yes a HAMSTER is steering a car. The humans won't let us dogs get driver's licenses but they let hamsters drive. This is unfair and stupid. How do I know it is stupid? Because I said so-that is why!
