Hamburger Buns: Good Snacking!

I would like to thank Dogster HQ for choosing my diary as a diary pick today. It is always an honor to be chosen as a diary pick although I do think my diary about Angel Zoom Smokey choosing her career as a chicken sitter because she likes to eat chicken should have been the entry chosen. It made my humans laugh. In Angel Zoom Smokey's eyes, chickens are for eating. I can't argue because I've had a few bites of chicken in my life too, and eating a member of the bird family is always a good thing!

Now for the important issues of the day.....why do the humans want to throw food away just when it starts getting delicious? Case in point: I have hamburgers everyday, and I only eat the meat. However, I like for the buns to be put in the bag where I leave them in various spots in the house, and Angel Zoom Smokey and myself like to eat them in a couple of days when they get nice and crunchy. This is when buns are at their best. They are kind of like round dog biscuits--hamburger flavor. This is when we have problems with the humans. Mommy allows us to keep them for awhile, but then if we haven't eaten them within a couple of days (and sometimes we even eat them in an hour or two), she throws them away. This means that Angel Zoom Smokey or myself has to rescue the McDonalds bag from the garbage can, and this makes us look like we are some kind of pathetic "bag dogs". Don't get me wrong...I don't really care what the humans think, but I feel if the burgers (and officially the buns are part of those burgers) are mine, I should be the one who decides what happens to them. I am sure that I am not the only dog who has annoying humans who do things like this, and this human behavior is unacceptable. The next time my bag of buns gets thrown out, this dog is going to bring the matter to litigation. I'm sure there must be some law against the humans throwing out a dog's posessions. Let me know if other humans are practicing this kind of behavior because I suspect a class action law suit might be in order.

I will join in your class action! EVERYTHING is valuable in the trash and I am not allowed to rescue meat wrappers, tissues, used cat litter ( the best! ) We need to put our paws down!!!!

Oh to be tall enough to surf a trash can. BOL. Mom puts lids on the short ones to make it even more torturous. Is that enough to join this class action law suit?

BOL! You made growlmy giggle...you may be correct, though...really!
Where growlmy works, the workers may not throw residents possessions away with out their knowledge/approval...
