Conpawtulations to my pal, Riley, who is the Dogster Dog of the Day today. I've met Riley, and he is a very nice (and handsome) dog! I also want to conpawtulate my pal, Coco Rose, and I'm sending POTP to her family because they are sick. I also hope they get the people who are supposed to be doing jobs on their new house to actually do the jobs and not just promise and not show up.
In yesterday's entry, I mentioned my humans going to see the movie, Life of Pi, but I didn't say whether or not they liked it. They did like it. Mommy said it is an excellent movie.
Now to discuss important dog related stuff. In fact, I've written a poem about my topic for today, and I will share it with you now.
Mud-such a delightful thing.
It makes a dog's heart want to sing.
It squishes "neath" my paws so well
It makes me want to clap and yell.
The mud makes a dog happy.
That is when we get yappy.
So when we play in the mud,
Don't try to clean away the fun.
You know how it is....you go out to play in the dirt and mud, and before you know it, the humans want to give you a bath. I'm sure everyone knows that I am against baths. Humans: your dog is supposed to be dirty...let the dog revel in the dirt!
Demon Flash Bandit (Discussing Mud)
I too have met Riley!
We ran through some muddy fields, once...
Mud is fun, too, BOL!
Congrats to Riley...and the mud poem is lovely
!I Really like reading your disries, and I must say I am impressed with your mud poem. Also, I realky enjoy reading about the egyptian dog stories. Where do you get those?
I love mud! It's splashy and cool and fun and good! I'm sure it contains essential nutrients that soak into our skin! Mud is GRRRRREAT!
Nothing is better than mud, but of course some mud in your life means that a B.A.T.H. will be coming your way.
Getting all dirty is fun, but I like baths too, so it are double fun for me.
Whitley, you are one lucky dog because you like both mud and baths. Most of us have the joy of mud ruined with a bath! By the way, don't the humans have something called mud baths? I bet most dogs would enjoy a mud bath.
I love mud baths.
