There is an ad for Lowes on the page as I write this, and I think it is wise that Lowes is advertising for the dogs who read this. Advertising home imporovement for the humans is a waste of time and money. The humans know nothing about home improvement. Case in point: my humans. I walked into this house as a puppy, and up until then, there was only a small Dutch bunny living here. I'm sure Flash could have made some major improvements, but he lived in a hutch inside the house so he just had his little area to decorate and improve. I walked in and I couldn't believe it: the house was totally and completely uninteresting. Okay, some of the smells and items were interesting, but just from a curiosity point of view--not because a dog really saw any need for them. However, I do like the refrigerator, and I've found that it is one item in the human home that a dog can appreciate. I started my home improvement instantly. I walked into the hall and peed. It had been a 5 hour ride, and it was lucky that I needed to go because the house needed to be marked as my territory. Now the house has fur everywhere, toys and bones scattered around, and it looks like a home that could be featured in the "Better Dog Homes and Gardens" magazine. I don't know how the humans managed to live before I came here to spruce up the place. By the way, now Angel Zoom Smokey (or as we affectionally call her, Puddles) takes care of any wet spots that need to be added to the house. I think it is best that a girl dog take over. We male dogs have better things to do than to decorate a house.
I'm always decorating with toys, but da humans are always messing it up! A Diary Pick for the HIE (Home Improvement Expert) Congrats! That's my comment up there. You know...chewing is another fun way to redecorate/improve the home front...don't know why that makes peeps upset, though! It wood seem that chewing is a line of expertise they got us in their dens for, in the furst pawlace. Condogulations on being a DDP, today! Have fun and do some more remodeling! BOL! If the humans were interior decorating experts, their houses wouldn't be so dull and uninteresting. Yes, chewing is a major part of decorating. Some dogs have even chewed up walls to enlarge a room--that takes some serious dedication on the dogs' part. Congratulations on being a DDP! Good luck with your new job of being a Home Improvement Expert! We know you will be great at it! ~ Congrats for having of the diary picks of the day! I done my fair share of "home improvements" |
