Winter's over

Hello diary:
It's been a while since I have written and a lot has happened in my life. We have just had a very bad winter but it's over now and the days are getting longer and warmer. I really hate winter its hard on me I have to ware a warm coat and booties and I don't like it to much. Oh, did I mention the snow, well, we had our share.
My younger master has been making those beds that I told you about last time and he has got a thing called a web site, whatever that is, that he is selling them on.
My master tells me that we will be going to the beach in a couple of days and I can't wait to see all of my friends again. It should be a good time. I know that when we come home that we always stop at Burger King and he breaks the rules a bit and gives me a few french fries that I just love. He doesn't want me to get fat so those things are way down on my list of things that I can eat, but, like I said on special days like this one he breaks the rules, just a little, for me.
This having a home is the greatest thing. When I was in the kennel I heard other Greys that had homes talk about what it was like and I just couldn't belive that it was as good as they said it was. But, now that I have one I know that what they said was the truth it really is the best thing in the world.
Well, diary, I guess that is about all for now will write more soon. Bye.

Well, it's been two years since I came to live at my new home and these have been the best two years of my life. My humans are very good to me and take me for car rides, and we go up back so I can run in the fenced area that my human made for me when I came to live here.
A little while ago my human made me a new bed and boy is it ever comfy. He made it out of some stuff that he calls blanket fleece. I don't really know what that is, but I do know this, I like it.
It can get really cold here so my human makes sure that when we go out that I stay warm and comfy with coats and booties.
Last October we went to a place called Dewey where I met lots of humans and other Greyhounds it was lots of fun and my human says that we are going to do it again this year. I hope so it was so much fun and I got my first taste of a thing that they call a milkshake that was really yummy. I guess that the only thing that I didn't like was the drive down it was just to long.
I really love my humans and I know that they love me right back because they tell my everyday that they do.
I like to sleep with one of my humans and I like to play the "let's see how far I can push him out of bed game" I just don't understand why he doesn't see the fun in it.
I"ll never forget the night that I fell in between the wall and the bed, my human had to rescue me and I didn't think that it was very funny but my human thought that it was. He laughed at me and thought that it was a big joke. Well, I guess that was payback for a lot of the times that I tried to push him out of bed. I guess that it's true what they say "What goes around comes around."
Well, diary, I guess that's all for now. Talk to you later
