I am officially being trained.

"Heel," I'm doing alright with. Not great, but alright.

"Sit," I'm getting nowhere with. I still need to have my butt pushed down to make me sit, and even then I get up as soon as the person's attention shifts away from me.
.
"Come," I'm also doing okay with. I'm actually starting to get it.

My people have also started clicker-training me now. It's kind of wierd. When I do something right, I get "clicked." The click doesn't really mean anything in particular other than that I got it right, as far as I know. And they're doing it without the stick the lady in the video used, which is a big relief. I think I can put up with being "clicked" more than I would be able to put up with getting a stick waved in my face.

The only good thing about all of this has been (drumroll please...) TURKEY HOTDOGS! That's right, I get a delicious bit of diced human turkey hotdog every time I get something right! They're delicious. Now there's a good incentive to work for!

To top it all off, I have to put up with another one of those stupid obedience classes tonight since it's Monday, which will probably be the same as it usually is: Me being told by that trainer man to do strange things I've never heard of while I'm so scared by the other, bigger dogs I can hardly focus.

Training, training, training. That's really all I've been doing (rather unwillingly) lately.
