Likes: FOOD!!!, tracking and digging up underground critters, chasing rabbits and squirrels, belly rubs, head scratches, rolling in nasty, smelly things, riding shotgun (wearing a seatbelt harness, of course!), being near me wherever I am in the house
Pet-Peeves: not eating, nail trims, the "vacuum cleaner of certain doom," baths after rolling in nasty, smelly things
Favorite Toy: Her pink, plush, happy-face bone with the squeaky, her tugging rope, socks that have been worn, and bandannas
Favorite Food: ANYTHING edible.
Favorite Walk: Running beside mommy when she goes roller-blading at Prophetstown State Park - that's the absolute BEST!!!
Best Tricks: Finding the smallest microcosm of food wherever she is, counter-surfing, tracking and digging up field mice
Arrival Story: I went to the Tippecanoe County Humane Society, Lafayette, IN, to find Dudley a sibling, January 14, 2003, and again, it was love at first sight. #37768 (she had only been there a few days, so TCHS had yet to give her a name) was brought in as a stray - she was about four months old, and absolutely precious.
Bio: Daisy was very shy and wary when I first brought her home. It took her about a year to bond to me, and now she is my little snuggle baby who sleeps right next to me in bed. While she is very bonded to me, and adores her brother and sister, she can be skittish with strangers and even aggressive at first, with other dogs - going regularly to our new dog park has helped tremendously. When I come home from work, or an errand, for some reason, she needs to grab a part of my clothing with her mouth to pull me down toward her - that's why I keep her pink, plush, happy-face bone with the squeaky, at the door - as soon as she has that in her mouth, she's fine. Daisy has a big raspy bark for a little girl, and she wags with her whole hind end! Daisy enjoys Celtic music and Bluegrass, needlework, collecting Depression glass, antiquing, gardening, fashion magazines and the Food Network (favorites: Iron Chef America and Chopped). She is accomplished on the dulcimer, yukelele and bagpipes.
Forums Motto: Daisy -"Are you going to eat that?"

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Mommy was gone almost all day at a meeting. Her friend Miss Ashley came and walked us in the afternoon, but when mommy came home, we were ready for action!
She took us to the County Fairgrounds where we ran and ran, and then we found an open door to the Swine Pavilion where they are holding an "Ag Days Fair." It was dark because the Fair was over for the day, but we ran around smelling all the tractors and displays. When it was time to go, mommy called and called ... but (hee! hee!) I had found the cookie booth and had managed to pull three zip-lock baggies out of the shallow cardboard boxes on the table (sugar cookies!), before she caught me and pried the last plastic baggie out of my mouth as I was trying to chew through it. Dang!
